If I could give 0 stars I would. Where do I even start. First things first, all the good reviews you see are because they beg you for a good review after just viewing a property, but god forbid you move into a property that has outstanding maintenance issues…they do anything and everything to NOT solve them. Just a few of my issues included no council bins being provided (green, black & brown) because they were not ordered or paid for. This is still outstanding today which marks 6 weeks since I moved in. I am constantly chasing them to sort it out but they ignore my emails majority of the time, if ai get a reply they lie and say the bins are due to be delivered but they council told me they still havent been paid for. Other issues include a dishwasher that didn’t work for 5 and a half weeks, no hot water for 10 days, a broken bath for 4 days, a bathroom door that doesn’t shut for 6 weeks, and the list goes on. Perhaps naming names will help them pay attention, but then again it probably won’t but I’ll name them anyway - Dennika Edwards, David Hogg (these 2 both don’t reply especially the latter, funny because they’re both in high positions), Adil Akbar - constantly lies about chasing jobs and sounds half asleep when talking on the phone. Avoid this agency at all costs.

My home had been on the market for 10 months before I met Joe Welsh from Haart. Joe was friendly, professional and really took time to understand my home and who he saw as the target market. The experience was very different to previous agents. He made a video of the property as well as doing new photos and has secured me more viewings within a month than I’d had in the previous 6. Communication was excellent with weekly check ins and updates . I was delighted to hear from the buyer that they had found Haart to be the best agent they had come across (Barbara in particular). My move manager Laura kept me informed of the selling process. Haart felt like a tight team and that they had a real desire to sell my property showing more care than any other agent.

I cannot thank Samuel Houghton enough, as I am relocating and live many hours away, viewing rental properties was difficult to say the least as they were going before I could get there but Sam went above and beyond to arrange virtual viewings and sending walk through videos to me, suggesting properties that would meet my criteria and even helping with timings getting from a to b so I wasn't late given I have no knowledge of the area. Sam has really taken my personal circumstances into account and tailoring his help accordingly, the assistance I have received is far beyond that received from other companies contacted and he made the job of relocating far less stressful and worrying!

Spoke to Stewart this morning, just from a simple enquiry, I got as much information as needed to make an informed decision. He advised me on options on available choice of properties, my desire for a property in a choosen location deepened, he was professional, treated me as a valued customer, answered all my questions and booked me an appointment, also signposted me to available help which I wasn't aware of.

I went to see a property yesterday with Laura, she was very punctual, helpful and approachable whilst showing me around the properties. She was knowledgeable on all questions I had and made for a very pleasant viewing.
I subsequently made an offer that evening which Laura replied to out of office hours showing great commitment to helping me with my offer. Having spent an entire day sorting the offer in a single working day and completing all paper work she has gone above and beyond to make everything come together in a very short time frame even working out of her normal job role.

Fantastic experience with this estate agent. When deciding that to do with a property, I spoke to 4 different lettings agents in the area. Haart was the best in terms of communication, local knowledge and enthusiasm. Ella responded to my email in under 2 mins. She helped to set up a call with Dennika who was extremely helpful and informative. I particularly liked that she was able to articulate the marketing plan, provide reassurance on the tenant background check and showed real enthusiasm for the property. Once the application form is filled. There is no response from them and we had to contact them repeatedly and they wouldn’t connect the call the representative incharge. In the end after like a week of calling them back to back we got tired of them telling we will ask the person to call back which will never happen, they then put the blame on the owner telling he is still deciding on the tenants. They give you a hard time. Not recommended.

Joe was very professional, friendly and warm. I often feel pressured by agents as a first time buyer as they can be very pushy, so my experience with Joe was a breath of fresh air. He made me feel at ease when viewing the flat and paid an interest in what we had to say. He also seems very passionate about his job and works hard!
His communication has been excellent too. He has kept me up to date and checked in with me, so I feel he takes good care of his clients. He answered all my questions and pointed me to where to find the information for anything he didn't know.
My experience here with Joe contrasts heavily with my experience with other agencies in Leeds which have been really bad. It's this positive experience with Joe that make me recommend Haart over others!

Just moved into the new flat and want to say a massive thank you to Haart for getting everything sorted so quickly but specifically Ella. Despite she was only initially involved at the viewings/negotiation stage she was the one person that kept me updated with how the whole process was going even though it had been handed off to another team and she personally took it upon herself to chase the referencing agency before anyone else did that was managing my case. I felt like I never had to chase, which is the first time I have felt that with any estate or letting agency.
I would genuinely recommend someone looking to let out their property in Leeds use Haart after so many poor customer service experiences in the past with other agencies in Leeds.

Could not recommend haart enough. I had a bit of an unrealistic timeframe and every single member of staff worked so hard to make sure this happened. Lewis was absolutely fantastic, went above and beyond in getting me the right mortgage. Laura supported me with contacting the sellers whenever I had any questions - these emails would quite literally be answered within minutes of sending, this was really helpful whilst juggling work. I’m also VERY grateful for Joes support in resolving some extremely challenging issues within the chain 1 week before move in - he dealt with this very professionally and as a result I was able to move in on the day I asked, he also kept me in the loop with everything every step of the way so I knew exactly where we were at in the process. Poor communication from numerous team members. The home move manager in particular just let the solicitors do all the communicating. Very frustrating especially when they charged more than the solicitors did!
Agents would never provide feedback after viewings unless it was asked and chased for, this chasing often resulted in escalating as the agents constantly went in annual leave.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend selling your house through them, they only care about the commission.

Really won’t recommend this lettings at all . They gave us keys a week ago and everything related to deposit , flatfair fee , 1 month rent was paid in advance .
Now today when we started shifting , we saw the garden is so dirty (which was promised is to get cleaned before we move in ) .
Also the basement is totally in unexpected and dirty condition where humans can’t live at all …
Also not only this the kitchen , sofa , everything is unclean which was promised is to be cleaned ..

I gave Haarts my house to rent as they told me the tenants have been veted by them, and they were goid tenants.
They turned out to be the worst tenants l have seen and caused £3000 of damages and was left out of pocket. They rented my property for £1750 and the new tenant's were paying them £2000 a month double traps the rent. The tenants were having drinking parties and there was a skip load of rubbish left by the old tenant. Don't tent your house to these cow boys estaagents as all they want is financial gains and don't care about people's property.

Leeds Team have been great!
Sheffield team (property managers of Leeds) review - Literally the worst letting agents I’ve ever come across. Their sheffield team (who manage all Leeds properties) fail to answer the phone or emails in a timely manner (takes weeks or months to get a response). Misquote on costs and didn’t do any check in inventory, mid term check or move out check. I had to arrange directly with the landlord (luckily I had her contact information) to arrange moving out so I could hand over the key.
They still have not been in touch despite moving out 3 days ago. No answer when I try to contact regarding getting my deposit back.

This Review is regarding Haart Lettings, and the incredibly poor service we have received.
We have moved abroad, therefore we (wrongfully) assumed hiring a lettings agent would be the best thing to do, to give us a bit of peace of mind. We have had such poor communication since the tenants have moved in. Which has caused so much frustration for both our tenants and us. Haart called in their own contractors and sent us the bill without our permission. Never return calls, and have not done a single inspection. Our tenants also face the same challenges with getting in contact with them, so have chosen to instead speak direct to us. We are so unhappy with their service that on the 26th of Oct we sent an email to end our contract with Haart. Since then we have followed up with calls and emails weekly, but here I am 5 weeks later with absolutely no response. Yet they have sent my tenant a notice regarding their rent being late. This review is my last hope in getting a response from them. I literally don’t know what else to do!! I just want my property in good hands, and have absolutely no faith that it is with Haart.

In the past I’ve always found estate agents to be a little hard work, they’re either too pushy or extremely dismissive and I’ve never really warmed to them, however Haart has been a different kettle of fish from the get go. The team are amazing, however Joe Welsh (who has been our main contact throughout) is such a genuinely lovely guy. He’s so knowledgable, very relatable and hasn’t pushed us into anything. Not only is he helping us sell our house, he’s also selling the house we want and the process on both ends has been flipping excellent. If I was you I wouldn't use this company especially the lettings side and i certainly wouldn't have anything to do with Luke Foster. Bunch of crooks who recommended a contractor to do renovations on your house so you can let it out. The contractors take your money then doesn't do the work. When you phone Haart for help you get told a pack of lies. Anyone disputing this review can view the house and see the state it has been left in and also pictures that have been taken plus emails which have been received as proof.

UPDATE: It's been a month and Cacharel never got back to us with any offer, even though during the meeting she was assuring us that she will help us find a flat and we informed her that we are tight on time. She never showed us the flat we were interested in, nor did she propose anything else. Apparently the haart agents compete with each other to get good google reviews (we were asked to write a review during the meeting and then via e-mail) and after getting one they loose interest in clients. Luckily we've met nice agents at Martin&Co who actually helped us with the stressful process of renting an apartment.
FIRST REVIEW (used to be 5 stars): We've been pleasantly surprised how welcoming the company representative - Cacharel - was towards us, even though we showed up at the agency without setting up a meeting, 5 minutes before closing. Cacharel was very nice and thoroughly interviewed us to understand our needs and then patiently answered all of our questions (and we had a lot of them). Next day we received a detailed, personalised information via e-mail that will be very helpful. We're looking forward to rent a flat with Cacharel and Haart Estate.

Haart Estate agents only need one word to describe them, AMAZING! I've been a renter and now a home owner for the past 15 years and dealt with dozens of estate agents around Leeds during that time, but I'd never experienced anything as close to what Haart have shown me since they came along. In my case I needed an urgent house evaluation and couldn't find anybody around Leeds who could do it for me in less than a week. When I contacted Haart estate agents, that was after I'd seen their posters on a few properties in my area, they were able to arrange an appointment for me within the next 24 hours, and yes.. I mean in just one day! Guess what? It was also free!
Bryony, the lady who came to evaluate my property, got in touch within minutes of my inquiry. Next day she arrived at my house promptly at the agreed time and was courteous and professional in her approach. Bryony showed an excellent knowledge of the housing market around Leeds and was patient, understanding, and did all her work of taking measurements and viewing of my property very reassuringly and made me feel quite valued as a customer. She didn't seem hurried at all and provided a lot of information to me so much that I ended up feeling guilty it was all for free! Haart seem to have a personalized approach to each customer, not just a tailor made solution for everyone and that, to me, is so unique! They are such a breath of fresh air into the Leeds estate agents market and everybody needs to give them a try. I highly recommend them. Regrettably there was only 5 stars but these aren't enough to evaluate what this company did for me.
