Since then Holbrook Moran have become known for being East Bristol's number one independent estate agency.

Jess & Bradley and the wider HM team have been fantastic managing our house sale. We instructed Jess following a number of phone calls (we didn’t even need to meet her to know she was the right agent for us!) - her warmth, and genuine care about us, our house and our sellers was what sold HM to us. The team were always available to support with queries/questions, we didn’t ever need to check in or chase as they gave us regular updates. They just went that extra mile, which was hugely appreciated. Couldn’t recommend more.

Where to begin…. I’ve recently sold my property through The Holbrook team, they were absolutely amazing from start to finish, for something that is a difficult time with loads going on these guys made it an absolute dream to sell my house! Jessica has made it her personal mission to make sure everything has ran smoothly, going above and beyond at every opportunity possible! Nick has been absolutely incredible during the sale of my grandmother's house. We had five valuations done and Nick was the only estate agent who took time to get to know our family. He was so much more personable than all the other agents put together. For that reason alone, we chose him over the others and he continued to impress us throughout the process. To say he went above and beyond is an understatement. We had a lot of emotions and anxiety tied into the sale and he made it all so easy for us. He helped us clear some difficult to move items, he took over communication with a frustrating neighbour and he chased our solicitors for us when they were slacking. We had nothing but a positive experience of working with Laura, Chloe and Richard throughout. One reason we opted for them in the first place was how personable each of them are, and being a small team really counted in our favour. For example, whenever I called, it didn't matter who I spoke with; they all knew what was going on with our sale. It felt like they were actually a joined up team, which seems pretty rare for estate agents!

Overall our experience with Holbrook Moran was very good. Richard had good local knowledge when it came to valuations so priced the house accurately. We did feel that we were not always listened to however, and that we were being pushed into making decisions that we weren't happy making with. It felt like they were more for the buyers than the sellers.
We were also very disappointed with the solicitor that was recommeded to us, which we did use, but they proved very lazy and often had us trying to complete survey questionnaires that was very much their job to go, and exactly what they they were being paid to do. I understand that HB were given a decent fee for their recommendation, but our recommendation would be NOT to use their suggested solicitor. They held up the sale of our property easily 3-4 weeks longer by not responding to emails, sending paperwork by standard post during a postal strike that lasted weeks, and just overall being disinterested in our business.

We’ve just been to the most bizarre viewing, hosted by this estate agency. They’ve got a small 1 bed with no garden listed is a two bed with a large garden. The measurements on the floor plan seen online are wildly inaccurate. The property is much smaller than the stated online and the garden isn’t legally part of the property. A proper waste of everyone’s time, the estate agent was lovely but this listing is wrong man.

I have just read through some of the glowing testimonials for Richard Crawshaw and Chloe at the Fishponds branch, and I agree with all of them!
Richard came to see my home about a year before I finally put it on the market. I was impressed by how knowledgeable he was, and by his genuine interest in the character of my home, and not just its value. I decided that he would be the right person to choose once I was ready to sell, as Holbrook Moran are a small estate agent and he assured me he would deal with the transaction personally.
Unlike some estate agents, he didn’t pester me after that initial visit, but only called once some months afterwards to see if I was still interested. Once I had agreed to sell through Holbrook Moran, he was efficient, helpful and hard-working. Together with Chloe, he arranged all the viewings separately over 3 days, rather than organising an open house, which I didn’t want. He then called me in to discuss the offers I’d had, and to advise me which one to accept. It was clear during our discussion that he had my interests at heart, and that he was very experienced and understood not just the market, but the buyers. I felt he was completely trustworthy and genuine.
Throughout the transaction he answered all my queries straight away and in considerable detail when necessary, and reassured me when there seemed to be problems. I rarely had to leave a message - either he or his able and friendly assistant Chloe answered the phone promptly.
Indeed, it has seemed strange since contracts were exchanged not to hear from him! I am about to move, and I feel that he did everything he could to make one of the most difficult experiences as trouble-free as possible. Thank you Richard for a fantastic service!

I would just like to thank Richard and the Holbrook Moran team for all their hard work for the successful sale of my late mothers house.
This was an emotional time for myself and my younger brother of whom was initially living in the home and studying full-time.
I had 3 estate agents provide a valuation for the property and had my brother report back to me how he found each agent when they came to view our home. Out of the 3 agents Richard was the one who showed more knowledge, professionalism and genuine kindness and interest not just in the property to be sold but also an understanding and empathy of our personal situation. We also wanted an agent who was fair and trustworthy (not someone who just wanted our money!) and I'm glad to say we found that here. Their rates are extremely good value for money - you truly get what you pay for and MORE! Richard was efficient in lining up a good number of views and we had 4 offers on the table by the end of the week. We came across a few hurdles before the completion of the sale but I found Richard to be very supportive and calm. If you're looking for an Estate Agents where the staff are more than capable of doing a fantastic job then this is the agency for you.

We chose Holbrook Moran after Richard visited us and straight away knew he was the right person to sell our home. He was honest, understood what we wanted and knew the area well and had clients lined up. This paid off as he knew the right person to buy our home and sold it on first viewing. This made the sale so straightforward and nothing was too much trouble for Richard who was always available to talk to us or reply to emails. We were kept informed at all times and he was a great liaison between us and our buyers. Honestly could not have asked for more. After hearing such horror stories about estate agents I was nervous about being stuck with a rubbish one but I would recommend Richard at Holbrook Moran to anyone selling their home. Sarah from the Fishponds office was great, helped us negotiate buying a lovely house and was the honest broker between us and the seller supporting both of us. Nothing was too much trouble. Phone calls were quickly responded too. Sarah understands the local market and was realistic about a fair price. It was not a straight forward purchase because of some modernisation issues, but three months on we feel happy with the process which we felt was fair and transparent. Sarah is very calm and upbeat - good qualities in a estate agent and kept smiling! She made what cold have been a diifcult situation much easier.
