Unprofessional agency, spoke to Micheal the manager regarding a property they had an offer on but were still openly marketing, he said for me to make a formal offer without viewing and if it was accepted go and view afterwards, this stupidity wastes everyone’s time as an offer should only be made after a purchaser has viewed. Very lazy staff not acting for the vendors interests, disappointing and unprofessional service would not recommend at all... Read more

Not professional. Estate Agent comes across as very leary. As a women on my own this is very concerning. Will not tell you when signing up - if you have to withdraw for unforseen circumstances they will charge you a withdrawal fee. They should mention this when signing up- it should be made clear. To say we’re disappointed with the level of communication from this company is an understatement. If you’re viewing a property with the intent to buy, don’t expect them to tell you if any other parties are interested. They’ll just pull it from under your feet along with any visions or excitement of a future you had in said house. Viewed a property two weeks ago, following the viewing we had a really positive conversation with Susan in the office expressing great interest, no more than a week later sold to another buyer with no communication. It would have been professional and courteous to reach out to us as a potential buyer but more so to the seller, as I’m certain they would like to have known of other interest. Susan and Michael took away any opportunity or chance to put in any offers, resulting in many wasted hours. I wouldn’t usually leave a review; but the tone in which Susan delivered the news was blunt, lacked any sort of empathy and very closed, to date I am still waiting for a reply to my email which I can only assume has been ignored. We will steer clear of this company for future sales and purchases, knowing that their priority doesn’t appear to be with either buyer or seller. Of all the estate agents I have used Hunters at Horncastle with Michael, Susan and Kathryn have been the most helpful with honest opinions from the start. This was backed up by an efficient system for booking viewings, tracking Rightmove hits, accompanied viewing and getting feedback from people who had viewed the property. Where to start, I cannot thank Hunters enough for selling my house. A bit of back story, we had been with a different estate agent for 9 months, with little to no luck & it felt like we were going stagnant. I made the decision in July to leave our old estate agents and instruct Hunters. Wow am I glad we made that decision, our house went on the market Thursday evening, by Friday morning we had 4 viewings booked for Saturday & by Monday we had received two offers! This was far more than what we received prior! From the get go everything felt smooth & easy, their online property file being a great help to see how many views you’ve had on rightmove, what viewings you have booked etc. Michael Noonan was always at the end of the telephone to help & advise. We completed yesterday & I cannot thank Hunters enough. Every penny we spent on their fees was completely worth it.
