After a very bad experience with another estate agents I spoke to Sam from Jackson Grundy and decided to sell our family property with them. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for what him and his team at the weston Favell Branch has done, Helping make what was a stressful process previously seem effortless. From weekly updates, to little check in to see if I needed any help with anything, explaining everything in a way i understood and always with a happy outlook. Communication is key and I cant fault that either, ive never not got through or had quick respondes to emails. Sam has completely changed my option of estate agents. If you want a Honest, understanding, hard working, fully open team with amazing morals and work ethics who will support you to completion, I honestly believe you wont find better.

Good for Buyers, poor experience for Sellers
Used Jackson Grundy to sell my property and disappointed.
I was very clear from the start: chain-free buyers only as this was a requirement for my onward purchase.
They still pushed me to accept a multi chain and insisted on speaking direct to my purchase to tell them "the full story” as I wasn't apparently doing so. They took over negotiations against my wishes after asking for contact details “for their records.” This caused me to lose my initial purchase.
They asked me to leave my house keys under the bin so they could do viewings when it suited them. Not great.
3 people handling my sale, no real continuity. Would call me constantly whilst I was on holiday but then difficult to get hold of them. Post-completion I’ve had zero contact from them.
They’re clearly successful in Northampton and have good market presence. But feels like they’ve lost the personal touch as they’ve grown.
Would recommend for buyers. If you’re selling through them, especially if you’re buying at the same time, I’d look elsewhere.

Jackson Grundy Sold my property on 17/07/25 via there Weston Favel Office Northampton. Throughout the for sale period and the sold period i was kept informed of potential buyers visits and feed-back details. I asked them to recommend a good Solicitor for legal matters which they did. All aspects went smoothly, I was very impressed with the very
professional way they conducted the business throughout.
Their fee and that of the Solicitor they recommended i found
very reasonable. Throughout i mainly spoke to Sam Walker a
real gentleman, treats you with resect and a valued customer.
II would us Jackson Grundy again and recommend them.

I recently bought a house through Jackson Grundy Weston Favell, and to be honest it was a pleasant journey for us, as a First Time Buyer. The whole process took us less then 3 months and we got the keys from our dream house...
Jamie, the mortgage advisor was incredible and we got our mortgage application approved really quickly....
Sam, the estate agent was always helpful even outside the working hours...I have to mention that we saw the house 3 times in this period...
The Conveyancing company they're working were incredible and kept in touch with me throughout the process....

This is my second property purchase through Jackson Grundy in three years, and I'm extremely disappointed with the overall experience. Unlike other estate agents, there was no celebratory home kit or welcome ribbon to mark the significant occasion of purchasing a property, a gesture that adds a personal touch to what is often a once-or-twice-in-a-lifetime event. This lack of acknowledgment, while seemingly small, contributes to a feeling of impersonal service.
My disappointment extends beyond the lack of celebratory gestures. Upon completion, I was simply informed that the keys were ready for collection, with no accompanying fanfare or sense of occasion. Furthermore, between exchange and completion, I contacted Jackson Grundy to request a brief visit to the property for measurements. This request was denied due to the team's claimed lack of time, a response that demonstrated a clear disregard for my needs as a client.
This entire experience, particularly the dismissive attitude of the assistant sales manager sam, has left me feeling that Jackson Grundy's customer service deteriorates significantly once a sale is finalized. The lack of post-sale support and the refusal to accommodate a simple request for a pre-completion visit suggest a prioritization of closing deals over building lasting client relationships. This is particularly disheartening given my repeat business with the agency.

Charlotte Cockerill, did the majority of the viewings and day to day co ordination and she was invaluable in helping us make decisions and keep the sale progressing. I used Jackson Grundy, as they were recommended to me, by an ex-employee & I was impressed by my first contact, when I met Gen, when viewing a property they had for sale.
I am now pleased to be able to add my own recommendation because I found the staff here are really helpful and I highly recommend them. My experience has been 100% excellent and more.
Due to the complexity of my search criteria, this resulted in the need to re market my property. Each stage was made bearable, by the professionalism of Gen, Tom, Adam and other staff in the branch. If a phone message was left, they responsed as quick as possible. Every effort was put in place to ensure a smooth process, even when I was out of the country, they continued to go above beyond, making sure I was in the link.
Any special awards that may be due the Weston Favell brach, would be, in my opinion, well deserved.

Tom and Adam were a great team to work with during the sale of our property. Sightly unusual circumstances in the process but this didn't phase the guys at all.
Tom was an excellent communicator and even when things went a little astray he was always able to suggest and provide realistic options and solutions.
Adam was fantastic and managing the initial marketing with my father who had not sold a property for over 40 years but Adams calm, personable and professional conduct made the whole process really easy.

The whole process was efficient and professional. Gen and the team actually managed to sell our house in the same day the photos were taken! This saved us so much time and stress preparing for multiple viewings, so we are incredibly thankful.

This is the best estate agent you can have in Northampton right now! The team is on point with their knowledge and professionalism. Starting from James the mortgage broker who makes talking about money like a walk in the park, to Gen, Mark and Adam who always did their best to help and get you answers. Then there is Tom, my husband calls him his personal person, he does his job with so much ease and effort, you don't even feel that you're going through the most stressful time of your life. He's funny, reliable and very professional at all times. He understood exactly what we wanted and found us the perfect home. We couldn't have done this without his help and guidance! Didn't earn their money.We felt were misled as to the status of our buyer and when we asked them to pass our our telephone number to our buyer ,when our buyer asked for it they said they needed our permission! They did not keep us informed of what was going on,luckily the estate agent who was acting for the property we were buying was far more helpful.

We are very happy with the service we received whilst purchasing our first buy to let property. Honestly I think there can be a negative view of estate agents and I was apprehensive initially. Thankfully at Jackson Grundy there is Sarah Tom. Who are decent, motivated and approachable people who I felt were on our side all the way. Down to earth yet professional.
