From my experience, Jackson Grundy Estate Agents and Lettings provided a very reassuring service. The staff were approachable and took the time to deal with everything carefully rather than rushing through the process. I found their communication clear and their overall approach professional. It was reassuring to have a team that seemed genuinely focused on making things easier for their clients. I would certainly consider using their services again.

Miranda & her team were excellent from start to finish. Miranda was first class, always happy to answer my questions and support me throughout. I found her team were also able to keep me informed too, so was not reliant on just 1 person. I can definitely recommend Jackson Grundy

I’ve had a thoroughly positive experience with Jackson Grundy’s Northampton lettings team. They’ve been professional, approachable and genuinely helpful throughout, with clear and prompt communication.<br><br>The team listens carefully, responds to queries and resolves issues efficiently. Their courteous, knowledgeable and patient approach has made the renting process smooth and stress-free.<br><br>Speaking from experience, this department is the best lettings agents in Northamptonshire. It really shows that with negative reviews, they are not speaking from experience and they in fact are trying to cause issues where it is not necessary, especially given this has 4.8 star rating at the time of writing.<br><br>The most recent negative review does not reflect the experience that I have had with Jackson Grundy, its the total opposite.<br><br>Five stars for excellent service from a friendly, professional and accommodating team.

We rented a bungalow in the NN5 area of Northampton from Jackson Grundy, who in my experience, are the worst agents I've dealt with over my 14 years of renting. We dealt with their lettings department — most of the positive feedback seems to be for sales. I'll keep this review short and just give you pointers on how to deal with them, if you have to. See the photos I've attached.<br><br>1 — Do not rely on verbal communications. In our experience, if it wasn't in writing, it was later denied.<br><br>2 — On inspections, set your own boundaries early. We were offered a 5.5-hour window rather than an appointment time (see photo), and we were not satisfied with how access was handled while we were away. Agree in writing how much notice you'll get and how often they can visit.<br><br>3 — If you have a serious problem with the property — ours was mould (see photo examples)— don't wait on them. In our experience they kept stalling with inconsistent information and did not address the issue. Report it to the council's environmental health team and to The Property Ombudsman.<br><br>4 — One example of the above: Marjana gave us to understand verbally that the landlord was required to deal with the mould, but never confirmed it in writing and took a different position later. That's why point 1 matters.<br><br>5 — Do your own inventory check when you move in and when you leave. We wouldn't rely on theirs. Document everything with photos and videos and send them by email so there's a record.<br><br>6 — When you leave, expect deductions to be proposed. Collect your evidence and raise a dispute with TDS if you disagree.<br><br>7 — Check who is actually holding your deposit and confirm your prescribed information. Ours was held by the agent rather than in a custodial scheme, and in our experience getting it returned took repeated chasing. Don't be reluctant to chase.<br><br>8 — Based on our experience, I would choose another letting agent if I had the option.

From the very beginning, Megan and Sarah have both been absolutely incredible.<br><br>As first-time buyers, we had so many questions and, at times, the process felt overwhelming. We recently sold our property in under a month with the help of Rhys, Sam and the team. I can’t speak highly enough of them.
