We would whole heartedly recommend using Jackson Stops Woburn for their honesty, helpfulness, and responding as far as they were able to any questions, queries and/or feedback from viewings. The office staff were always polite and helpful. Anthony Inskip who acted mainly for us in the sale of our house marketed the property in just the right way attracting in the main people who responded to fully reading this listing. We really appreciated that potential viewings were asked questions to match if their criteria of what they were looking for and what the property we were selling offered; this helped to save everyones, time and energy. Anthony was professional throughout the process acting in our best interests in what can be a stressful time in our case selling an older individual property and buying a new house. From the first meet, to the handling of paperwork, the process has been effortless and stress free, We have both struggled with estate agents in the past and dreaded the whole process, however Simon has been amazing and completely changed our perception, he carried out the whole process from start to finish in a professional, highly knowledgeable manner with nothing ever being too much to ask. It was a pleasure to deal with the professional and knowledgeable team at Jackson-Stops Woburn. Anthony Inskip was excellent at keeping us in the loop at all stages of helping us to secure our dream home. The process inevitably dragged on during Covid, but we were never left in the dark and our messages were alway responded to immediately or early the next day. Helen in the office was very reassuring and also very knowledgeable about our purchase. Anthony knew exactly when and how to nudge the other parties along - in particular the Solicitors on both sides! - and this really helped to reduce the stress we felt. We had used numerous agents over the previous 18 months who were good at Pre-sale but less so at the sale and closure and two way flow of information. We finally went to Jackson Stops-Woburn (JS) as we felt that they had more experience of selling older period properties than their counterparts. We quickly got the feeling from the team that they too loved our house and could see a great family home for someone. We knew it was a specialist buy given its age, features etc. and wanted someone to get these across. Once a buyer was found they were excellent at keeping all parties up to speed, despite Brexit, Covid, and broken chains. Our house purchase fell through on the day of exchange and Antony and the team gave us great advice and support. The sale finally went through in August 2020, we moved out into storage and decamped to our house in Italy whilst the legal process for our new home was being executed. What we particularly liked was they way in which they kept us fully engaged throughout on the progress of a viewing and the feedback from the clients. Whilst maybe not directly the fault of the Company they were acting as the agent for a property I viewed. I was contacted at 1pm to be told the Landlord wanted to accept us as tenants and all the referencing paperwork would be conpleted after giving my family the good news I was emailed by the agent to say " actually they might now be offering it to a farmhand who lives local and doesnt need any of the maintenance sorting but will let you know" After a few follow up emails I got a response to say "sorry they are letting the other person have it" As potential tenants letting Agents do a lot of quite intrusive checks before even approaching a landlird, perhaps the same thoroughness should be applied before taking on Landlords. In the space of 24 hours we went from delight to bitter dissapointment which shouldnt happen.... Read more

Jackson Stops sold me my home in the first instance and proved to be the right choice to sell it 6 years later. Terrific service throughout the sale of my home in Tilsworth. Neil Abraham was patient, attentive and went over and above to help me get everything accomplished. Living abroad made this a really important factor. They priced my house sensibly, got regular viewings and got me a sale within what I considered to be a reasonable timeframe in this market.
