The team were always immediately responsive to all communications and personable and professional at all times. Nothing in the process came as a surprise because of his clear communication and follow through. He was extremely patient and worked with my schedule when we did viewings. He was able to narrow down on my desired criteria very quickly and I found the place I liked in the first batch of viewings he arranged. Once my offer was accepted, Hamish worked continuously to follow up with the conveyance process and we finally reached exchange of contracts. I am really happy with the care and diligence Hamish brought to the experience. I don't have a property with them directly, but my partner does, and they will ignore an appliance issue/flat issue for days or weeks, with no reimbursement or alternative solution.
He had no heat for over 1 month during Nov/Dec, with no communication regarding alternatives or discounts due to the issue.
When the laundry machine broke, he was told "it could be weeks" until the issue was solved. Which is fair and reasonable depending on the problem, but that was not helpful, as it took days for Jackson-Stops to even request an engineer visit. We're still waiting on them even come by to figure out the problem. Not acceptable.

Unfortunately, after living in a Jackston Stops-run flat for >1 year now, I would not recommend them to anyone. While their agents may be great at helping you find a flat, their maintenance team is a disaster. They take weeks to solve issues to critical services (e.g. heating, laundry, etc.) and don't compensate you for any damages or incurred expenses as a result. When you ask for updates, they give you passive aggressive vague communication without clear next steps.

If you are a tenant do not come come to this. They help the landlord steal your money because they have obviously more interest from the landlord side.They break into the property without notifing the Tenant just because they think 'the tenant doesn't need to know'. Unless you have a very good solicitor and have lots of time.

I was looking for a flat to rent and wanted to set up viewings through their website - there is such a possibility, which is very nice. What is less nice is that it doesn't work at all, I didn't get any response for a few viewings, only after about a week I was contacted via phone. What is the point of flat viewing reservation system if it's not working at all? I visited the office on Saturday and even though it is open on Saturdays, they don't take customers, so it can be as well closed. My short experience was very negative.

They have been so helpful and friendly, even giving us really useful guidance for the redecoration of our property pre-sale. They have been extremely patient and understanding, in spite of us changing our mind about selling at one point. All their advice and input has been great. There is a spacious and well-proportioned place in hell for estate agents. But when Georgina from Jackson-Stops & Staff arrives they should turn down the thermostat a few notches. She was consistently respectful, responsive and friendly. And, as a tenant, JSS are less of a rip-off than other agents. Sure, it's >£100 to print a standardised contract, etc. but all-in-all this was probably the most cost-effective agency arrangement I've had since moving to London.

Thought their letting service was the best I came across both in terms of my recent search and from experience over 10 years of renting properties in London. So many agents seem to have little inclination to truly understand what you are looking for and often waste their clients time by showing them unsuitable properties.
However, James at Jackson Stops was got to grips quickly with what I was after and the viewing process was streamlined and effective. The process through to completion was all dealt with quickly and professionally.
