Belated review — but we had an excellent experience with M&P Little Venice, especially Paul & Kelvin. We had had a bad experience with another estate agency and switched to M&P because we had been told that they were the best performing agency at our price level in the local area. Paul & Kelvin navigated us through the appalling post-Truss market with authority and empathy, and secured a sale. The buyers were inexperienced and Paul & Kelvin held their hands very well — a job made all the more challenging for them because the buyers’ chosen solicitors were incompetent & slow, threatening the transaction several times. Paul & Kelvin kept the transaction alive when everyone’s patience was stretched thin, and we wouldn’t have completed without their doggedness and determination (and good humour!). Would strongly recommend!

I wouldn't normally write a google review for an estate agent, but the service I have recently received, as a long-time landlord, from Roy Khan and his lettings team at M&P Little Venice has been nothing less than exceptional. Used to mediocre to average service from agents over the years, I couldn't recommend Marsh and Parsons Little Venice more highly. It took Roy and his team 24 hours to rent my flat (from key drop off) and just another 24 hours to get the references and agreement signed. Not only did M&P negotiate an increased rent (without me asking) but they also ensured the absolute minimum in vacant period between tenants (3 days to allow for cleaning etc) and a 3 year contract. Honestly, I couldn't recommend these guys more highly - and this is from a seasoned (and somewhat circumspect!) landlord who thought they'd seen it all!

Made an appointment to view an apartment in Elgin Avenue today, received a confirmation email June 20th, arrived on site today in perfect time, waited for 15 min and left. Tried calling the agent twice, sent a text, only to receive 20 min later "Sorry, I though I've sent you a cancellation email".
Not respectful of potential clients and their time, considering I do not live in the area and had to travel just to wait around and leave.
Very unfortunate and settled in an unwillingness to work with this company in the future.

Don't recommend to sellers. We were prospective buyers. Aggressive sales approach that we found unprofessional. We placed a bid and had to bring along ID when we were asked to visit the property a second time before we were allowed to bid. This was all reasonable enough but the owner offered a counter offer where they would take slightly above our offer but would leave it on the market, or we can pay more and have it exclusive. When we hesitated, we were questioned if "we were serious" about our offer. Two things I'd suggest for the agency to improve:
1. It is unprofessional to allow properties to be left on the market post acceptance of an offer. There should not be a premium to do this.
2. Please don't question if we are serious after we have had to make two trips and bring ID to put the bid in, in the first place.
We wouldn't buy a place offer this agent even if out of principle. Ultimately the property wasn't sold even a few months later. Our agent was Hamish.

Be vigilant and call out right away if they give you disorganised service, eg in my case, bills never set up as had been promised, they use cowboy builders that make extra holes in walls and never patch up. The people in this place change very often so you have to rebook everything and your documents get lost, quite rude on the phone and never admit fault. Be supervigilant if you use their services. They did respond quickly when we had an emergency and they did release the deposit on time. I think they are honest but not on top of managing staff (as of 2016-2019)
I appreciate the owner responded below and I do hope that they want to make it better but I can assure you that there was a long record of complaints that didn't lead anywhere. I can post a reply from one of the ex-employees refusing to apologise for her oversight or a number of other documents.

Spencer from the Maida Vale office has literally gone ABOVE AND BEYOND in providing my partner and I with the best experience we have ever had with agents. He was proactive, helpful, always willing to provide guidance and advice, and most of all never showed us an apartment that didn't meet our requirements or budget. He was very professional, patient and sympathetic even when we were changing our minds about what we wanted. These are excellent salesmanship and customer focused skills that would make any competitor jealous. Amy at Marsh & Parsons went above and beyond to help find a place that would be suitable for all 3 of us.
We initially went in looking for a 3 bedroom property which dropped to a 2. So, we weren't the easiest to cater to! Not only that we decided to stop looking towards Maida Vale, St Johns Wood and decided to stay towards Chelsea, Kensington. She kindly offered to help look for properties around these areas for us and we found our new home! The whole process was completed in about 72 hours and contracts have been finalised with a move in date confirmed.
Amy was very professional and didn't bombard me with calls like other agents. I made a point of asking to be contacted by email due to being so busy at work and she respected this wholly.
Will definitely seek for her help should I need to move again.

I recently had the pleasure of making the acquaintance of Mr Birju Panchmatia while looking for accommodation in London.
Upon our first contact via email, he was very polite and eloquent, and he made a client-oriented impression. For instance, he mentioned having arranged for a viewing of five properties, but he afterwards made the effort of looking up some more possibilities and we wound up seeing another two properties. During all this time, he was very sociable, asking about what me and my partner were looking for in our future property, and talking about other pleasant subjects.
I got the feeling that he understood quickly what it was we wanted, and he adapted to this very well. He was able to point out the interesting features of the properties we visited, even though he had just started at the agency. He also admitted to not yet knowing the area too well, but he said that he was spending a lot of his free time to catch up on this (e.g. studying maps, walking around in the area and trying local restaurants).
The day after our viewings, he followed up and called to see what my partner and me thought, and a few days later he sent an email to see how we wanted to make further arrangements. Unfortunately, by that time, we had already found another property – something I was not too eager to admit, given all his time and effort. However, he congratulated us and wished us the best of luck.
All in all, I had a very nice experience with mister Panchmatia, and if my partner and me were to relocate in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to contact him again.

I feel compelled to review my experience with the employees of this agency- primarily Sam Hunter and then later, with Dan Jackson; because I have had alot of experience with estate agents, ranging from good to appalling. These gentlemen exceeded all expectations.
I first called Marsh and Parsons close to 6pm on a weekday to enquire about a property I felt interested in. The relevant property's agent had just left for the day but I was promised a call back asap. I presumed the callback would take place the following day at the earliest. But at 7.45pm that evening to my surprise, i got a call from a chap called Sam on his night out, in the queue to enter the theatre!
I needed to know if the property was worth pursuing before I would agree to view it, and Sam knew the answers to everything I asked. He was knowledgeable and agreeable. The interaction filled me with confidence, and as such i was to later allow this man and his colleague Dan to ostensibly take the reigns without question, in a process that was to ultimately culminate in the purchase of that property.
The process in question turned out to be very complicated including a number of unforeseen circumstances.
Sam was available night and day for the duration it seemed, providing timely updates throughout. I never felt any kind of lack in the experience.
Both men's approach was exemplary. And between them, I felt the process was treated with utmost care and consideration.

Having just assisted a client in buying a property through Marsh & Parsons, I was impressed with their speed and efficiency, which turned out to be vital to the success of this transaction. The property my client purchased is arguably on one of the most sort after streets in the area and being listed with two other reputable agents, there was already a bid in through one of the other agents when we made our offer.
