I don't normally review companies but My experience has absolutely been a nightmare with that company, they hold the deposit for months after you check out and they cut it as much as they want. They are so slow and they enter your flat without permission. Definitely not recommended at all.

I have been a tenant with Martin and Co for over six now, and I am extremely disappointed with their maintenance services. For the past six months, I have been reporting several critical maintenance issues in my rental property, and despite numerous follow-ups, nothing has been resolved. Every time I contact them, I receive the same excuse: "We are waiting for landlord consent."
This has become incredibly frustrating and unacceptable. The issues in my property are not minor; they affect my daily living conditions and pose potential safety hazards. Yet, Martin and Co seem to have no sense of urgency or responsibility to address them.
The lack of communication and transparency is astonishing. As a tenant, I feel completely neglected and unheard. Their inability to manage basic maintenance requests shows a clear lack of professionalism and respect for their tenants.
I strongly advise anyone considering renting through Martin and Co to reconsider. Their poor handling of maintenance issues and reliance on vague excuses have made my living situation extremely stressful and unpleasant. Save yourself the hassle and look for a more reliable and tenant-focused property management company.
P.S This is no reflection on Alan from the lettings team, who has been excellant and very responsive.

We came to Martin & Co in a rush and they managed to get us moved into a new flat within 48 hours, I’ve never seen such a swift and efficient process before and we’re extremely grateful for Alan, Ché, and Fulham, who have actively kept up and made sure our move in process was as easy as possible! Going with Martin & Co was definitely the best decision we made

My partner and I rented a flat in Fulham from Martin & Co in November. Though the flat had many issues to begin with that needed to be resolved, I am giving them 5 stars due to the tireless work of our property manager, Francesco Moretti, who swooped in and ensured everything was dealt with swiftly and easily (for us, not for him!), which involved him constantly emailing and calling the council on our behalf, really advocating for us, all the while keeping us updated and making us feel heard. These issues did get resolved thanks to his work, and we are now really settling into our flat. I have rented a lot in London and know what a pain it can be to deal with distant landlords/property managers, but this could not have been farther from our experience with Francesco. Would 100% rent from them again due to this experience!

I was very surprised by how friendly and helpful the team at Martin & Co was. I heard some of horror stories from friends about agents doing everything in their power to make tenants' lives miserable... I consider myself lucky to have found this agency.
A few positive examples:
- they had my washing machine replaced in no time and without complaining when it broke down
- they were always very responsive whenever I had an issue
- very respectful of my own time and schedule when they were showing the flat
- and they returned the FULL deposit very quickly and without putting up a fight.
The last point to me would be the selling point.

I can highly recommend Simon Stilwell and his team at Martin & Co. Chelsea. For our recent property purchase, they provided a superb service with excellent advice plus all the necessary professional contacts (who were also of the highest standard). Our transaction required from Simon and team, a considerable amount of their time and patience- which they all provided wholeheartedly. If you are looking for a new home in Lots Village vicinity, Martin & Co. are the go-to agent.

So welcoming and accommodating and really made the entire process a smooth transition. In Abigail’s stead her colleagues were also super helpful and I cannot recommend the company enough.
