Martin and Co have managed my property for over 14 years with professionalism, excellence and ensured the property was kept in good order . On handing back the property, and myself having not been inside the property for over 14 years, I was shocked at how well the place had been kept. Throughout my time with Martin and Co they have kept all communication channels open, provided timely information and responded to all my queries on time. They have also enlisted professionals to address any maintenance issues and have always ensured that the tenants are maintaining the property accordingly. We have been tenants of Martin & Co in Milton Keynes for the past 7years and since day one we have never had any issues and they have been so helpful and responsive.
In fact we were meant to move to another property and at very last minute we were let down, I'm so glad for that.. I happen to call Martin & Co in MK explain our situation and haven't regretted ever since. It is VERY sad that we have to move and leave the agency.
I would highly recommend them.

We rented our property through Martin and Co. in Milton Keynes, from 2017-2021 and our experience with them was blissful. We have had troubles in the past with other agencies, so their services and great levels of customer service were very welcome. Tony, Kim and the team were always on top of any issues from us or the tenants, they were professional, organised and most importantly for us, in regular communication. I had a very unpleasant experience with Dawn Bateman.
There was a misunderstanding about my earnings during an application to rent a flat. I was worried my most recent accounts submitted to HMRC are from a period 2 years ago, and asked what info I could use as an alternative. Her attitude switched and she began suggesting I cannot prove earnings or pass a reference check. Despite me being prepared and eager to prove, I was not given the opportunity.
I offered to pay 6 months up front, she decided the landlord would not accept that and would still be doubtful about my earnings.
She scrutinised and sneered at earnings from 2 and 3 years ago, which in hindsight feels humiliating and something that didn’t need to be shared. I would expect this level of scrutiny if I’m applying for a mortgage, not for renting a flat in Milton Keynes.
Worst of all was the condescending attitude and the unbelievably unprofessional snarky comment after our phone call disconnected.

These are the best estate agents I've ever used! I've avoided using agents for over 10 years due to the bad press they get but Martin & Co Milton Keynes are the complete opposite! The response time to sort out issues is super quick and they all feel so familiar to me, especially Allison who's just fantastic!! Keep up the good work!

Having rented my property now through this company for nearly 3 years, I have always had excellent customer service. I deal with Michael Campbell whenever I need to contact Martin & Co as his professionalism is second to none. The best estate agents I have ever rented a property from. When I first started renting I was in a extremely distressed situation caused by previous property. Martin & Co have reassured me and any issues that I have encountered have been managed and handled quickly. All issues that I came across were natural such as plumbing&electricity or for example today my smoke alarm battery is low, these issues tend to be resolved by the time I get home from work, i find really amazing and its appreciated. Even when I moved in they let me paint the property white so I could take care of it and it feels like my own home! Thank you to Michael Campbell and his colleagues for prioritising their tenants and taking care of me whenever I have needed the help

In May 2016, my family and I moved from Cape Town, South Africa to the U.K. For us it was a big, intimidating move in many respects. Happily, we had researched pretty much where we'd wanted to settle beforehand, so it was a case of trawling through the listings.
Happily, we contacted Martin & Co as well as other estate agents. From the get-go, we had the strong sense that they wanted to make our transition as smooth as possible. They went out of their way to help us understand the governance issues around the UK housing scene in a clear and simple way. They seemed to sense what our pain-points would be and ensured we were never left wondering what to do next.
My personal involvement with Tony, Allison, Kim and and the team has been very rewarding. Although we have now moved on to another home, I feel strongly enough to write an unequivocally positive review around their friendliness, integrity and professionalism. It gives me great pleasure to issue a five star recommendation.

Currently renting a property with Martin & Co Milton Keynes for the past 4 months. I have had a few issues within my property which have been out of their hands however they have been quick to address majority of my concerns over night.
I gave 4 stars due to the issues i have experienced however their service and quick response deserves 5 stars.
Havent been able to bother with a review with previous estate agents and really appreciate their problem solving.

Just sold a property through MartinAndCo. Our agent was Tony. Our sale wasn’t easy, mainly due to the location of the property, plus the market was up and down, finally we found a buyer but the process took a lot longer than anyone expected due to bureaucracy of many institutions involved. Tony and the rest of the team supported and advised us through this nerve wrecking process and I’m ecstatic that we finally completed ???? Great work, thank you guys ????????

As someone who just moved to the UK, i really was wary of the whole renting process and the paperwork involved and the more i read about it, the more i dreaded it. When i had a chat about it with Mr. Michael Campbell, he explained it all and promised me he would make it very easy and simple, and that he truly did. Also to note he didn't mind any of my silly questions and was happy to help in anyway. So far i am extremely happy to have chosen this agency. Keep it guys and thanks Michael.

I've moved houses quite a few times in Milton Keynes and as a result had number of interactions with different letting agents. I can say that it's hard to find a letting agency where every single member of staff demonstrates utmost level of professionalism and courteousness.
Dawn Bateman (letting negotiator) did a great job in my first interaction with Martin & Co. during the viewing and made my decision making easy. Later on, Michael Campbell (sales & lettings administrator) made the paper work hassle free and got my deposit amount secured with TDS. Kim Pusey (branch manager) helped me with a comprehensive and realistic inventory report. They are a small team of very well organised and committed individuals who seem to stand by core company values.
They were always available and helped me promptly resolve the issues I've faced (with Boiler and Toilet). Every interaction and transaction was very smooth from the beginning through to the end and I received my deposit in full without any hidden/unreasonable charges.
I cannot recommend Martin & Co. highly enough for letting services. I wish all the letting agencies are as professional and committed as Martin & Co. has been.

Just wanted to drop a review in here. These guys were awesome selling an extremely difficult house for us last year. Background: we were first time buyers, conned into buying a house that had £14,000 worth of hidden essential repairs and maintenance we then had to get done in 4 years owning it, then my husband was about to be unemployed, oh and there was plenty work still needing to be done.
Unlike the former owner, we were adamant we weren't going to hide anything from interested buyers. In fact we felt despite our desperate circumstances, we just couldn't in good conscience sell 'to anyone' - it had to be someone who would know what they were getting themselves into.
We approached two estate agents (avoiding the one we bought through) about the sale of our home. One wanted us to be... conservative with the truth of our home's condition, and to allow them to do the viewings.
Martin and Co however understood our ethics, and respected them. Not only did they facilitate our honesty, but they also recognised that I was competent at conducting the viewings myself, and respected that I knew more about the property and it's present condition than anyone.
In the end, we did find someone who could understand what a task lay ahead of them in ownership, and had the skills/contacts to take on the place without (like we were) being utterly over-burdened.
Thanks to our honesty, Martin & Co's honesty, and our solicitors (who also appreciated our honesty), the sale went through with almost no issues whatsoever. It was completed in under 2 months. Considering it involved my delivering a huge ringbinder's worth of certificates, surveys, invoices for works carried out by multiple contractors, insurance claims, shared rights of way via private road, an extension built prior to regulations about going over mains sewerage lines... That's pretty much a miracle!
Also, just to point out how good these folks are, 4 months down the line I called them for a second opinion because we're now in a position to buy a house (in process through a different agent in another part of the country) and... not only did they remember us, but they were eager to find someone to have a think on our issue and call us back.
THAT is service you can't expect from many places.

In case your toilet stops working, good luck explaining what is wrong and they seem to know work-around for every issue including the property smelling of sewage from the toilet!
Edit: A representative visited the property and assured to take necessary steps in future. Transactions for last 1 year has been trouble free. The review above reflects quality of emergency service and not of the service overall. I have raised the rating based on further interactions.
