When people told us moving house would be: ‘one of the most stressful things you’ll ever do’, they’d clearly not heard of Ocean.
From estate agent Billy to move supervisor Lauren, everything went smoothly, professionally and pretty damn quickly. Admittedly we were first timers with no chain, but a three month turnaround from viewing to keys in the hand is still pretty ASAP rockery.
When issues cropped up Lauren dispatched them with ease. And whenever issues did crop up (issues will crop up) they were never the result of an Ocean boobie. Ocean were the strongest link and put our solicitors (mentioning no names) Setford’s to shame. Genuinely wish we’d taken on more of the services they offer.
On this note, Ocean’s mortgage advisor Neil was A1 tidy at getting us the best mortgage/insurance offers we could. Along with Tracey they sealed the deal, sorted out the admin and basically we're happy as a pair of Larrys up Larryville.
So people best start rewriting the adage: ‘moving house will be one of the most stressful things you’ll ever do’. To something more like: ‘if you feel like moving home, if you're thinking Ocean - I second that emotion' ????????

Overall happy. The initial meetings were great and photos were fantastic. Only disappointment were viewings felt a bit rushed or an after thought- often the agent would show up just on time or late and appeared to not have any knowledge of our property (multiple agents doing showings). Appreciate that this is probably standard across agencies, just a bit disappointing that some features or improvements to the home were probably missed when showing.

I have invited 2 Estate Agents to my property, had very clear expectation about the price. Hunters Agent told me its £30k above AVG price for the property in my area and told me to reduce expectations. So I invited Curtis from Ocean. It took us 20 minutes to agree terms and conditons! Then he came back with Tom - very proffesional advises. Took photos of the property on Tuesday , Thursday property was listed. First viewings - Sauturday, totally packed. Hit my minimum price. Had a few other viewings during 2nd week. Second Saturday the offer was £10k above my minimum. I accepted the offer. All those viewing were extreamly well orgnized by Leyla Gould & Chloe Reed. I came acroos big problems with Ocean Solicitors, so I asked Lauren Hardman to support - she did amazing job!

Leyla Gould was the person who dealt with the marketing It was a difficult job as the tenants made life very difficult, putting it mildly, as regards viewings. Despite this Leyla was at all times professional. She showed resilience and patience in her dealings with the tenants demands She respected their wishes and continued to arrange viewings despite the restrictions imposed by the tenants.
I really appreciated the way Leyla approached the marketing It made the process much less stressful I am happy to say that the sale is now proceeding.

Incredible service and Curtis and Lauren looked after our purchase perfectly. We had had an awful experience with a different estate agent who positioned themselves as a ‘hipster’ trendy outfit, but ultimately their mission was to squeeze every penny out of every party. Not the case with Ocean and whilst we were apprehensive after being gazumped with that agency we need not have worried going with Ocean. This resulted in three offers in excess of the asking price, one of which resulted in the sale of the house.
