I would not recommend this estate agents to anyone. They really don't work for their money at all. First of all overpriced my boyfriends house which meant hardly any initial interest was generated. Then trying to get updates from them never happened. My boyfriend had to call them about everything. We are still waiting for the sale to be fully finished but now they aren't chasing thing's up with the buyer. Talk about it being hard work because they just appear lazy. Definitely wouldn't use them again.... Read more

I have been in contact with Reeds Rains the last few weeks due to moving into a property which I am now in. Sadly the process was very unorganised and did not reflect the agents well. The system used which was new was not good at all, Denise acknowledged this and apologised which was appreciated. Denise herself was very helpful but the process of moving in had many faults, I didn't even sign my contract until 2 hours before moving in and the person who met me at the property was from an external company. It feels as if renters are not given the same attention of detail as compared to someone buying a property. With previous estate agents I have never had issues like this. Luckily I have had the opportunity to deal with the landlord directly who is very helpful and has been round twice to deal with certain problems.... Read more

This is the first time I've written an online review...what prompted this is the incredible customer experience throughout the sale journey of my property, the team at Reeds Rains Rothwell are second to none, and this needs to be communicated for all to read. From start to finish Joanne and Greg were professional, helpful, and provided a service that far exceeded any previous experience I’ve had selling a property. Communication was always timely, clear, and to the point keeping all parties on track during the challenging times we’re all facing – do not go anywhere else, this is the team to sell your property trust me! So, by comparison, I tried (unsuccessfully) to sell the same property a few years ago with another high-street well-known estate agent in the area, the experience was ok (ish) but when I asked for some extra support the answer was always, “sorry we can't do that”…here’s a little background and an example; I didn’t live at the property it was empty/vacant whilst up for sale, it was a BTL/rental that I owned the tenant had moved out, I live 100 miles away, the house is up for sale and the summer months are approaching the grass needed cutting and the garden a little tidy-up, that was feedback from the salesman after a viewing with a potential buyer, I asked is it possible to give me a contact number for a gardener you have on your books from your Lettings department, if so I’ll make contact and arrangements….sorry, we can’t do that - which took 5 days to respond. The same request to Joanne and Greg at Reeds Rains and a contact number is supplied within minutes, that may seem a trivial thing, but trying to sell a property remotely, unable to travel to it because of lockdown and travel restrictions, the extraordinary support from Joanne and Greg was always a ‘yes, no problem, we can help’. I sold my house through Reeds Rains in Rothwell and the process was simple and effective. I had tried two other agents before who were no good. My property was on the market for months with each and I had no joy. I put it on with Reeds Rains and it sold quite quickly. They were helpful through the process and it was a quick sale. I then purchased a house, at a later date, due to Covid delays through Reeds Rains again. They were brilliant. Joanne dealt with my purchase and she was really responsive, friendly and helpful. Reeds Rains have made the transition of moving house really simple, with only a few complications from the landlord which extended the move in date, but Denise did everything she could to help us be moved in in time. Her help in this matter was greatly appreciated, as well as being friendly and keeping in touch with updates on the process. I gave Reeds Rains a 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 mainly because I don't appreciate people telling me what review i should give them ie 'would you be so kind to complete a 5 star Google review'. Not only that but not knowing how the move out process or how mid tenancy inspections / communication will turn out. I will update this to 5 stars at a later date if everything continues to be so smooth. I would recommend Reeds Rains to anyone after my experience so far.... Read more

Danni Dickinson was originally based in the Morley office and recently moved to Rothwell office. Danni was so helpful when it came to selling my house in Gildersome right from the start. Fraudsters and shysters. Wish I could give zero stars. Took weeks just to get them to photocopy ID documents. Mortgage advisor lied every step of the way, wasted six weeks of my time and falsified documents. Complaints process pathetic, didn't address any comments I'd raised but sent a 20 page document which "answered" a million questions I didn't ask? Decided to use Reeds Rains Rothwell as Greg took a genuine interest in our home and we didn't feel under pressure to proceed unless 100% sure. He gave us excellent advice and tips and our house sold within the month. Kathryn was our negotiator and she proved to be such a valuable asset to have from start till finish. She was constantly in touch by phone or email and offered help and advice to overcome issues. Kathryn was fantastic at offering practical solutions and kept me calm and as stress free as possible! The service Kathryn offered went over and above my expectations. When Kathryn wasn't around the other girls in the office were equally as helpful and friendly. Also used Frank to arrange our mortgtage, he was flexible in offering out of office appointments gave us clear easy to understand advice and was definitely money well spent. Pretty poor estate agent. We put an offer in for a flat, but after waiting a week and repeatedly calling them to check on the progress of the offer we were met with stalling tactics. They didn't inform the landlord of our offer and after 7 days and lots of aggro, they finally responded with, "Well,we just got another offer this afternoon, so you aren't going to be considered" Great work Reeds Rains. Employees seem to be lacking in common sense and would prefer to serve their own needs rather then looking after potential customers. Go elsewhere if you can!... Read more
