Genuinely awful customer service! The staff are rude, sarcastic and patronizing. I have never left a negative review for anyone so congratulations for being the first.

We had our home valued by Robinsons and agreed to let them sell our property.
When ever we had a viewing they seemed very slow in chasing feedback from the potential buyers. We were also concerned at times with amount of times our calls were unanswered when we phoned the agents.

When our property failed to sell we reduced the price over a couple of years by about 25%.
The agents then advised us to drop the price further which would have ment selling the house at 60% of what they valued our property at.

We refused to drop the price further and were told that we would not sell the property at that price.
Shortly after, we managed to sell our property without reducing the price as the agents advised.
This would have lost us £20.000.
We always try and support local business but would never chose Robinsons as our agents again.
We found them unprofessional and would not recommend them.

The woman who came to value our property was rude, cold and condescending. Practically forced her opinion on us. We have had 5 estate agents value the property and Robinson's are the only ones who disagree with the price. They think it is worth at least £20K less than the other 4 agents. They are purposely undervaluing houses in spennymoor for quick sales and permanently damaging the housing market in the area.

great team in the Spennymoor Office, nothing is ever a problem for the girls in the office. Sold my Nana's house in 2 days to a cash buyer and completed in less than a month.

If you are renting in Bishop Auckland, go elsewhere. Rude, unprofessional and not interested at all. They allowed a vulnerable tenant to live in a complete and utter pigsty with no roof, wall to wall mould, with bags of human waste and needles filling the yard and have consistently negated their legal obligations. Thankfully, the tenant has since moved out, these clowns won't be laughing when this gets to court. I cannot recommend this shambles of a company to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

Booked an appointment to view a property made one which was good and all get to the place only to find can not get in to said property as the lock is broken which is unlucky as the type of lock can brake but to add insult to injury the lock has been acting up for 3 weeks yet they did nothing to fix it get told they will call me to re arrange an other viewing once the door lock is fixed go away happy call a few days latter to ask if the lock has been fixed and if i can book a viewing first call they say still waiting for a lock smith and they will arrange for every one who went but couldn't see once done few more days still not heard any thing so i gave them a call only to be told by some one with the charismatic skills of a dead fish to tell me its all ready been let out i ask why was i not told only for her to say oh sorry . will never trust or use them ever would it kill them to send me an email or a text to call them

I would not recommend to use these estate agents and if I could give a zero star I would. I wanted to rent a property took a number of calls and emails to get a viewing but let this go due to the current situation of covid 19. However this continued and took me over a week before I got anywhere to be able to apply for the house I wanted to rent. The application went through fine and I asked if I had got the property and they said would contact the landlord to see if they were happy to proceed and they would get back to me. The only way I found out I had not got the house was finding the house being advertised online by a different estate agent and they have not once had the respect and courtesy to call or email me to explain why this has happened. Damn right disrespectful and disgusting behaviour I think their customer service skills need a hell a lot of improvement.
