All in all, very poor email responses regarding property viewings. Little follow up and a misgendering of myself as a viewer with no correction when this was raised politely over email (I am the same gender I was born as if that avoids confusion).

Dishonest sales agents.
The Branch Manager lied to me (vendor) claiming a buyer had 'ghosted' on an offer they'd made for my property and had disappeared. When I contacted the buyer directly the buyer shared proof of the withdrawal of offer messages they'd sent Stanfords, and were shocked that they had lied about her actions.
Stanfords lied because they didn't want to have to explain to me that the reason why the buyer had withdrawn after making an offer was due to Stanfords being dishonest with her about an issue with the property, in order to make the property more appealing. So dishonest to me (vendor) and to her (buyer).
When confronted with this, they then showed v little contrition for lying, and removed the property from listings with no notice period, which implies they knew they had behaved improperly.
I would avoid them; can't be trusted.

Stanford’s were helpful, responsive and professional throughout. We also found them to be honest and reliable, which can’t be said for all estate agents! We would highly recommend them and are so pleased we chose them for our house sale.

Jay was absolutely amazing throughout my purchase process and helped me secure my dream home, by calling me as soon as the house was back on the market when I originally lost it to another buyer. He was always communicative, trustworthy, clear and helped me understand next steps to get the purchase closed as efficiently as possible. Filippo was also great in helping me when Jay was out of the office. Highly recommend when looking for a property in the area. Thank you so much to Jay and Stanfords Estates team!!!!!

We recently sold our house with Stanfords and the whole team were excellent and we were very glad to have signed up with them. We were in a relatively turbulent chain and it felt that Jay and Alex were central to maintaining momentum and keeping conversations moving. They know what they are doing and are honest and open throughout. Couldn’t fault them and would absolutely recommend.
