Sheldan Bechie was the best!!
Everything with SA was so smooth. Sheldan Bechie????, Letting Consultant was AMAZING! He was quick to arrange several viewings into one day, which is extremely helpful when you have a busy schedule. He drove us around and I was extremely happy when he found the perfect one. From that point onwards, the team's communication was great, with them arranging a call with the landlord and efficiently completing all the referencing and admin work within a week. Their online portal is easy to use and very helpful. The team kept me updated throughout. I can't recommend them enough.

Having contacted Stirling Ackroyd for a valuation on my property, I was sufficiently impressed by my interview with Claire Donaldson that Stirling Ackroyd were my choice over 2 other estate agents, to deal with the sale of my property. She was clear, polite and thorough in her presentation and did not make me feel hurried in any way.
On going into the office after I had instructed solicitor's, I asked for help in setting up some Portal Login system the solicitors had asked me to do. Claire readily agreed to help me and must have spent 2 hours dealing with it, including scanning documents to be sent to the solocitors. She has continued to check how the purchase of a new property is progressing and to offer help if needed.
Darren and Ali were appointed to deal with viewings. I was kept informed as to viewing dates and times and each were at my home prior to the persons viewing, saving me the need to be involved unless a question arose that needed my imput.
Given the slump in the market, I and family, were pleasantly surprised in the number of viewings and which resulted in offers.
At all times I felt confident that my interests were being cared for and only recently recommended Stirling Ackroyd to a neighbour who is thinking of moving in the spring next year.
I cannot praise enough the service I have received and would highly recommend the team.

Jordan and the team at Stirling Ackroyd were very professional from start to finish. Where many local agents failed to see the potential unique features of our home Jordan took the time to understand and find well suited potential buyers, leading to multiple offers where previously we had experienced only frustration. Once under offer, we were kept well informed at every stage of the process up until completion with regular email and voice communications. The only downside was the conveyancing solicitor recommended by Stirling Ackroyd. However, the excellent sales progressors compensated for this by chasing up the solicitor on our behalf. We are happy with the personal service received and definitely recommend Stirling Ackroyd.

My review is in relation to an employee called Mikesh!
Last year we had been let down by every property and only had one week to move in. Mikesh helped us get the property so quickly and efficiently. I am self employed but had enough and unlike other estate agents , who instantly turned me down before hearing out my situation, Mikesh listened and helped make sure I passed referencing.
We left our tenancy early and needed a new tenant ASAP and Mikesh was on job. We only had a week left and he found a new tenant within a week to move in the day after we left. We would've ended up paying double rent for two months and he was so on job when we let him know the severity of the situation. He is a star at what he does and I feel so lucky that we had someone so proactive helping us

We contacted Townends regarding some properties on sale listed on one of the many platforms available, Jovan from the Croydon branch picked up our enquiry and he immediately asked me lots of questions about our search criteria to match with any of the properties in their portfolio. Shortly after he followed up with an email and arranged a viewing for us. Jovan proved to be extremely helpful and flexible, working around our schedule, he agreed to meet us after his working hours and once at the property he dedicated plenty of time talking to us not just about the property we were viewing but also the area and other surrounding areas.
I felt very comfortable meeting with him and I am sure he will find us the house perfect for us. Very well done and thank you for the good job so far.

We bought our house via Townends and the service from the Croydon branch (George Street) was excellent. Darren, Claire and team gave friendly, honest, and helpful advice and information. They were responsive, contactable and kept us updated as and when needed. I cannot fully comment on the selling side as we only bought via Townends as first time buyers with nothing to sell, but judging by the speed and thoroughness of the sale, I would imagine that the selling side was just as smooth.

Claire was instrumental and key to my purchase going through in time. I also want to thank Sophie for facilitating the sale in the end stages of completion. As a first time buyer, when you don't know the process, you want an estate agent to guide you through the process and chase the relevant people on your behalf and that's exactly what Townends did. They were the glue that held communication between all parties together. Claire went above and beyond by organising a secondary solicitor for me that was required at the 11th hour of my purchase and without that insider knowledge/contacts I don't think my sale would have gone through. I would definitely recommend Townends and I'll be sure to use them again in the future for any other purchases/sales.

The most unprofessional sales team that I have dealt with. I have made and offer that was the highest at that time. Based on the statistics I was sure that the property will be mine, however the sales manager has never called me or contacted me in any ways, to gain information about the offer furthermore, when a higher offer was made I was not informed until the landlord accepted the offer and I was willing to increase is necessary, instead I was told my offer is the only one on the table.
I hope Gary the Sales area manager will raised this question during the managers meeting as I believe this is completely unfair.

Although I found a different property from the one Townsend showed me I have to say that I was really very impressed with how kind and patient and attentive Eimantas was. He was proactive in contact the landlord and honest in how I would make an offer. He also sent me follow up properties that were very close to my specification requirements would have happily rented through townsends but something with an earlier move in date came up.
