The experience was good as far as the agent's work and effort goes and the very high number of visits it hosted (49). Also, Andrew always had a cheerful and positive attitude and responded promptly to my enquiries. The market coverage was good since we got a lot of interest from the market. However the product turned out not to be positioned correctly since staging the property through the use of AI, per agent's recommendation, was not the right move as this only attracted buyers expecting to see a turn-key project and were disappointed at discovering the actual condition of the property. In other words the initial ad did not reflect the property appearance and was counterproductive since we got the wrong kind of buyer at almost every visit.. As a result there was only one offer out of as many as 49 visitors (a disappointing result) and the price I had to agree to was quite a bit less than both what I had expected and also what the agent had assessed the property to be worth initially before pressing me hard to reduce the price considerably. Therefore, I have mixed feelings about my experience though I am confident Truepenny's would do better in selling turn-key projects as opposed to houses needing work.

I knew nothing about Truepenny’s Estate Agents as I’m out of the area. Initially, we went with a much larger Agents with a nationwide reputation. They failed us. So, I met with Andrew Aquilina and felt confident in him, he had the drive and experience that others had lacked. Well, we accepted it wasn’t going to be easy to sell, a bit of a ‘Marmite ‘ house. Andrew and Rowan got onto it and quite quickly a Sale was agreed. They kept me continually updated and gave feedback after viewings. They gave a personal touch that I appreciated, I’m not an App or online person, I like to speak to a real person. They have guided, all parties in our short chain, through some difficulties, to everyone’s satisfaction. The team have recently been joined by Denise Haines, she now does the sales progression and what an asset she is. Great teamwork at Truepenny’s.

The whole team at Truepenny’s - and Andrew in particular - are fantastic. After a poor experience at two previous agents the difference here was night and day. Both James and Andrew properly listened to me and gave really sound advice. So hard to find a good estate agency theses days but I can truly say this is one of the best ones. Sarah from the Bromley branch has been very professional and lovely to deal with while she showed me around the property. She was on time, communicated very well via phone and email and was very transparent in regards to what position I was in with all the other offers coming for the property.<br>I wish they were all like this.
