Poor communication between their staff. Photos and write up of brochure only very average. Not one viewing in six months. Agent wrote in termination letter we had had three viewings- total rubbish. When querying about the unit staff member didn’t even know where it was in relation to the house. Board removed immediately after we gave a months notice. All in all a very disappointing experience with this agent.

Unacceptable in 2023 that companies still allow people with this sort of attitude to deal with customers.

Very poor service. Took advantage of our sitution by letting us a property with a poor EPC and even offering us a £50 reduction in the rent pm because the property was initially overpriced and was not getting offerings for viewings.Terrible and extremely ill behaved land lords. The property would cost alot for heating with everything cheap. Landlords would come and shout at us and when we would ask the agency they would say that sorry we can’t get involved and there’s no way we can believe you that they misbehaved with you. We had two little kids and the landlady would ask us to slap the little one on her hand if she tries to play with the oven buttons and wouldn’t let us switch off the oven from the switch because according to her that was just for the engineers. I have been let down by William H Brown TWICE IN less than 24 hours!I have been waiting for their mortgage advisor's call this morning at 10.30am as scheduled, but nobody called me.Yesterday I was waiting for their lettings agent to value my property, but nobody showed up! Had both appointments confirmed in writing.I am appalled by this agency's services and the disrespect shown towards the client's time! I am a busy woman and had to move a few appointments to fit their agents. TIME WASTERS! SHAME ON YOU!

This is untrue! Adult children are classed as permitted occupiers.

First time buyer. Ok service,I started out excellent. I didn't use the broker at this store so I can't comment on that part, apart from always get the most expensive surveyor it is definitely different. One member of staff was rude to me on the phone, others were very friendly one inparticular when I was very upset and confused with getting the wrong information from someone not at this agency, she was very reassuring at put me at ease. Once the sale had finalised there were still things outstanding that I had been promised to be done four months prior. The property wasn't sold to me in the same state as I veiwed it, or as a move in condition as I was under the impression it was. There is no upkeep by the agency you basically get the property as the seller leaves it. I recommend you make a second viewing before you sign anything to save yourself alot of stress and sleepless nights. I was left with a property that needed a deep clean the downstairs due to a gathering of very pungent, heavy smoking and pet smell, that bad that I believed it would never disappear. There was a large amount of cigarettes in the blue bin along with alot of non recyclable items, when there was space in both black bins. This was not down to the agency itself however when I addressed this with the agent she didn't seem phased and said it was only the smell of it being empty.
After the sale, queries about outstanding issues were answered politely but I was told it was now my responsibility to sort out and when I contacted this other company they didn't know what I was talking about and was told that it is not me they would need to speak to or for me to be given the correct information.

Awful experience through William H Brown, Newland Avenue. Awful manager - we arranged a viewing to measure up for fittings etc. on the house our offer had been accepted on. The manager turned up late with another couple to view it. Pressured into getting their scam mortgage advice that isn't impartial. This is just two of a catalogue of hideous errors - AVOID!
