Is this agent ever open? And where has Julie gone? Called the office several times spoke to someone said Hi I'm Tash also said I'll call you back still waiting actually she had no clue anyway so I've taken my business elsewhere my advice would be don't rely on them to sell your property

Julie was a delight to deal with and I am sure she would have been tenacious and got the deal through smoothly if a buyer had been found. Drawback 1 was made clear to us at the outset but we did not appreciate the importance of them being a franchise i.e. each branch is out for themselves rather than a sharing attitude of a nationwide company. Drawback 2 ...Victoria was very professional and assured us she would do all of our viewings. This happened for approx 3 months, after that Julie did them and we literally heard nothing from Victoria again it seemed to us that she had lost interest.
Every potential buyer (16 viewings) gave the same feedback.....parking, but Winkworth did not seem to be proactive about addressing this with buyers. Our eventual selling agent only managed to do 2 viewings, both parties offered and neither mentioned parking. I appreciate that we reduced the price when we changed agents but the parking 'problem' didn't magically disappear.

Have been dealing with the Grantham office.. So far, has been a very positive experience - and compares very well with other agents! I have no idea why the agents don’t reply to my emails. Constant chasing with emails and calls to get her response. She never says sorry for anything at all for all the pending issues in the property and failing to respond for days feels as if we are literally pleading to get our rightful concerns noticed . Even though I can see good reviews for my agent here but why this attitude with us? If you are busy you can simply drop a text or an email of acknowledgment later on. Good day !

The woman Julie was horrible to me on the phone. They expect someone who wants to rent to be an expert in lettings. Seems like a toxic atmosphere when I called a few times. Then they almost shouted at me.

Not paying contractors for work they ordered! No responsibility for the miss communication on their part! Told me to chase their customer! Even tho I completed that which was in writing from them! They then argued I was supposed to do another job that was not listed! The reply they posted is not true. I did the job requested on the original paperwork that I still have! Disrespectful to suggest this is not true frankly. I have evidence on every word above.... And now they have changed their response. The work was completed as instructed and they even admitted their error at one point. To say the police was caused and damage was done is pretty sitty, and a complete fabrication, scumbags

Julie Barks, the agent, was (appropriately given her name!) like a dog with a bone and with her no nonsense approach kept everything moving smootly and swiftly along, while also keeping me informed of progress every step of the way. After being scared by Purple Brick, The people from Winkworth (Grantham) have been a god send, they held up their end of the bargain and gave me regular updates. Staff were friendly, very approachable and have restored my faith in estate agents. They sold my property in 2 day vs being messed about for 10 month. Please learn from my mistakes and hire professionals that conduct themselves in similar fashion.

Just exchanged contracts on house purchase through Winkworths Grantham office, and from the very start of the process, right until the end, Julie Barks has been fantastic. Outstanding level of professionalism throughout, personable, knowledgable, and efficient. Julie made our house purchase so much less stressful than it could have been, however thanks to her excellent communication, it was quite the opposite, and a really lovely experience. Julie also put us in touch with an excellent mortgage broker and surveyors, what more could we have asked for?! Julie Barks was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process of the purchase of our beautiful new home. From the first day of meeting her, she was friendly, polite, enthusiastic and so passionate about the house. She has been so down to earth and pragmatic throughout I can not praise her enough.
She has by far eclipsed the young male counterpart in her Grantham Office, who we found to lack people skills which has been reiterated by the seller who had a similar experience. If we had spoken to him first we would not be purchasing our property, so I am recommending Julie specifically.

Moving house is stressful enough without the added complication of your own estate agent not meeting expectations. Luckily, Julie at Winkworths stepped in. I can’t recommend her enough - in what was a really difficult move due to lack of communication, Julie took it on herself to ring through the chain to keep both her own client and ourselves up to date with the position. She was incredibly friendly and supportive and, if the time ever comes to move again, I will be in touch!

Cannot fault the service right from the initial visit by Victoria - her frank advice was taken and the house marketed. Shocking experience. I had a viewing scheduled for two properties today at 3.pm, at 3.05pm no one was there to greet me, so I dropped the office a call asking how long the would be, and I was notified they would chase the agent up and and call me straight back. another 10 minutes had gone by with no update from Winkworth, so I dropped them another call, where I was then told they tried to call me 10 minutes before my appointment time, to say that an electrician has got the keys and can't let me in. After checking my phone, I had no missed calls, voicemails, or email advising me of this.
Poor service, and even worse organisational skills.

I found Winkworth staff Rachel and Sue to be so professional and amazing throughout the whole process of letting, the attention to detail is second to none, They left us hand soap in bathroom and kitchen sink and roll to dry hands on, plus toilet roll hotel folded which proved invaluable whilst between houses, everything was dealt with smoothly and efficiently. Sharing my experience about winkworth is very easy to do. Sue and Rachel went above and beyond for me to find the best place to rent for my needs. Thanks to them both they found me a beautiful 2 bed flat in a fabulous village location just a short drive from where my family are.

I am the tenant that Debbie Daly is referring to and I'd like to point out that the only reason it was returned to us is because after a year of Winkworth trying to get my landlord Debbie to fix my dangerous electrics, collapsing decking, non working oven they had to stop managing the property. The deposit was returned to us as Debbie had left my family in an unsafe and unliveable property.
