We have just exchanged our house with Winkworths. It has been a very difficult and complicated chain and Jade has been absolutely amazing. She worked so hard to get us to the exchange point and kept us up to date with everything. Jade went above and beyond and is very professional but also very genuine and lovely to deal with. If it wasn’t for her I really do not think we could have got to where we are now. I would also like to say Leah in the office was also amazing through the whole selling process. If you are selling your property do not hesitate to use Winkworths.

Winkworths managed both the sale of my parents house and the purchase of their new bungalow. Without the wonderful care, efficiency and communication from Jade I doubt it would have completed. Difficulties at the beginning of the chain (not managed by Winkworths) meant that 2 agreed completion dates failed prior to exchange. This was my parents, who are both in their 80's, first experience of buying a house where a chain is involved. I couldn't wish for a better champion for my parents throughout this, at times, extremely stressful process. Jade's wonderful care, diligence and stubbornly positive perseverance resulted in the much anticipated move completing yesterday. I can't recommend both Winkworths and Jade highly enough.

When I first posted this I left 5 stars. Winkworth were amazing at helping us move from another estate agent and brilliant throughout the whole sale process. The team communicated very well and we had fantastic support, especially from James and Jade.
Through them I am also now renting. The process was as easy as could be and with a high professionalism. The rental property is perfect! Both Dan and Linda have been fantastic. I would highly recommend for renting and also for buying and selling. Very impressed with the estate agents.

This is the second time we have engaged the services of Winkworth to sell a property and the experience, yet again, was brilliant from start to finish.
If only all estate agents could be like Jamie and his team, the property market would be better for it!
Our sale completed at the third attempt, as the chains failed lower down on both previous attempts, despite the Team at Winkworth working extremely hard to keep things together, in a difficult market. Everyone we dealt with was on point and very professional, friendly, reassuring and appeared unfazed with the situation.
Special mention has to go to Sales Manager, Leah, who worked so hard to broker a deal between all the parties to bring the final chain together for a successful completion - and that is no understatement.
Not to diminish the input from everyone else involved in our property sale (please forgive me if I miss names out - it is not intentional). Grateful thanks to:
Jamie - Director and jolly good at what he does. Great valuation presentation and good explanation how the price was arrived at, which we felt was on point. What we really liked was there was no pressure or flannel. That is really valued (no pun intended).
Leah (again) - Because she's worth it. (Yes, I borrowed that line from a well-known beauty advert because Leah is "L’Oréal" deal).
James - Very efficient in arranging the viewings and always a pleasure to deal with in person or over the phone....and always very positive. Without fail, James had the viewing details confirmed by text before the conversation ended! See - men CAN multitask!!
Louis - Accompanied viewings done with professionalism, respect and always with bonhomie, even if some clients didn't turn up on time, or even at all, Louis took it in his stride and just got on with things. Known by us as 'Louis the Unfazable!'
Jade - An absolute gem (pun intended). Dealing with the solicitors, clients, admin and keeping everyone informed. Not an easy role but nothing was too much trouble and another great team member of Winkworth Poringland.
And to everyone else at Winkworth Poringland - keep up the good work.

18 weeks in buying a property, the owner refused to get out, offered 1k to rent, or buy. Then the property is back for sale saying its ready to go, ready to go no where. The advice we had from Winkworth was rent somewhere for 6 months. So now we are £1600 out of pocket for our experience. Survey,
searches and solicitors fee. Advice if they say they are moving in with family you need it in writing. This leaves a sour taste! Move on 12 months on we see laurel reach have it again still not moved. Glad we found somewhere better. 4th dec 23.I see today it's off the market I guess someone else got screwed over.

Jade at Winkworth was absolutely amazing during the house buying process, we can’t thank her enough.
We were in quite a stressful position where our buyer had to be in our house within a few months otherwise they’d lose their mortgage offer. We don’t have family in Norwich and would have had to move in with friends to keep our buyer which was far from ideal.
We were in a chain of six but Jade made sure to keep everyone updated and push things along which meant we didn’t have to move in with friends. She was always so friendly and always got back to us really quickly.

A real pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We found the house we wanted to buy before ours was even on the market. Shame of it was we were going on holiday the same day so couldn’t get ours on the market quickly. However we arranged for James to get in and do pictures of ours on the same day, and get ours on the market quickly. They managed to get it sold within a couple of days and we were able to purchase the one we really wanted - all while I was sitting on a beach having done none of the work so top service.
From there Jade kept us up to date at every stage, and was really on it. Chased everything for us (and chased me a couple of times) and made sure everyone knew what was going on and the timeframes. Nothing was too much trouble.
I was also really pleased that on the odd occasion I couldn’t speak to Jade or James, that Leah and Louis who answered the phone seemed to know all about our sale and purchase and could answer my question or give me the update so nothing seemed too much trouble for the office as a whole.

Their stand out qualities (which many estate agents don’t always get right) are good customer service and good communication. Right from the valuation through to completion they proactively kept in touch with us and always returned our calls or replied to our emails immediately.
At a time when the market is buoyant we were especially impressed with Assistant Manager Jade McGarvey who dealt with the ‘business end’ of the process once offers had been accepted through to completion. This is a tough role overseeing coordination across the wider chain and solicitors. Jade was always efficient, professional and a lovely friendly person (which makes a difference). In fact everyone we dealt with had a great positive attitude and manner, and they certainly know the importance of good team work.
Special mention goes to the way Jade handled an unprecedented situation. As part of a wider chain, our agreed completion date (post-exchange) was set into disarray by the announcement of the Queen’s funeral. When Jamie came out to value the property, we were impressed by his profesionalism, honesty and knowledge of the local area.
Having a young family, we were concerned about our lack of flexibility around booking viewings. However, everyone on the team was incredibly accomodating and worked with us and potential buyers to find the best times possible. They were also happy to do the viewings on our behalf or allow us to do them on an ad-hoc basis around our schedule.

Started off well with the lettings team, highly responsive and informative. Viewing was booked in and went ahead felt somewhat rushed by James as it was later in the day I'm well aware he is a trainee in lettings however he wasn't overly informative on some of the questions that has been asked.
Filled in the application for the letting and received no confirmation of delivery. Waited until today to see the progress with the application to only be told that the property had been rented already!

During the very stressful event of buying a new house, the Winkworth team were brilliant. From the very start of the process, the communication was excellent. Any call back requests were always responded, no amount of questions or queries were too much trouble. They even assisted us when we were having issues with our estate agent. Leah, in particular had endless patience with us when we viewed endless properties - each not being quite right until our 'forever home'.
In the run up to exchange and completion Kylee was fantastic. Updates would be given given; sometimes multiple throughout the day. She liaised with the whole chain superbly, even when there were some surprising turn ups.

As a buyer and an ex-estate agent I am highly critical of lazy estate agents. However, from start to finish I was impressed with Winkworth, after viewing a few properties we identified my needs and Jamie introduced me to a property which hadn't yet gone to market. After a well managed negotiation the vendors got a very fair price but I got the house of my dreams, thanks to Leah and Jamie's tenacity and skill in negotiating. The after-sales support was then brilliant by Kylee and Viv too the chain ended up being slower than ideal but as soon as timescales became tricky Viv doubled her efforts and chased all parties and provided constructive and timely updates.
Without a date as a future seller I'd go straight back to Winkworth as I know they'd get me the best price, while offering brilliant service and above all values looking after the buyer, because keeping a buyer happy is a huge skill in itself!

Well where do I start!!
Selling and buying with winkworth and they have been superstars it’s been the most stressful time of my life I’m not going to lie but they have been so great!! I can not recommend them enough!
So friendly, there to help whenever you need them.
I actually feel like they have become friends and like part of our family and I’m going to miss popping in to see them when we have moved house!
Even made my little boy feel welcome and involved as they know he’s not keen on moving and he loves popping in to see them in the office now too!
Never fobbed off and always happy to help on the phone or in person, I think personally I have seen the girls in the office more the last few month than I have my own family ???? answering all my silly questions at a drop of a hat!
Nothing is ever too big or small!

I was impressed by the really professional letter sent suggesting we might contact them if we had not sold our property. As we had been let down by a national agent, I was keen to find out more about Winkworth. Again I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff there, and we began to get some really positive viewings. Happy to say they found us the perfect buyer. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. I also liked the fact that we could contact them very quickly.
