Really poor poor service! I contacted them and filled out the income form which i was ignored so i chased them up and kayleigh then got back to me to say i don’t meet the income criteria. I then replied on Thursday explaining i get another 9k income for my son and was yet again ignored. I feel there was judgement when i even called about this property as i was ignored twice. I then had to chase her up and she didnt reply even though i’ve confirmed i can afford the property. This house was perfect due to it being near my sons school. I have 15 years rental references and i feel i was judged and made to feel like i can’t afford it which clearly i can.

I’ve been renting with Winkworth for the past 2.5 years. All along the process, they were extremely professional, quick to respond and always friendly. They never needed to be chased, they would chase you to get the issues resolved. Everytime something would go wrong with the property, I would have it sorted within 24 hours. They go above and beyond to make sure their tenants are happy.

I cannot recommend Winkworth Estate Agents in Northampton highly enough. Ian Simons and the team are consummate professional, and fantastic people. Nothing, and I mean nothing is to much trouble for them. Ian handled the sale of our house, and the sale of another we were responsible for. It all went very well; difficult situations were dealt with, with minimal stress to ourselves. The buyer of our house was guided every step of the way, as required. When things looked like going completely wrong Ian stepped in and guided the sale home on time. Legend.

Arrogant staff, ESPECIALLY Nikki Kooner. All they care about is money. They rent out rooms in a building right beside their office with shared kitchens which is mainly for students. They take advantage of the students to benefit their pockets.

I saw a property advertised on 12/09/22 and I rang on 13th to book a viewing . Kayleigh , a letting agent asked me to fill a form and informed viewings for that property start from Saturday and I’ll book you in as soon as I received back the form .
I rang back on 16/09 to find out my slot and she said all appointments are gone and property is already off the market, I’m super shocked .
I never seen as dunce as Kayleigh for her professionalism, she didn’t even bother to inform .
Worst thing out of all this , she didn’t even open my form that I sent back across on 13th.
Wow if she’d been working for me I could have sacked her by now .
Shame on you guys .

Winkworth were the Estate Agents selling the house we wanted. We were impressed with the photos online and the virtual tour (which is really useful before the sale is complete because you can keep looking at everything in detail). They weren't the cheapest - but I valued her opinion and will always be very glad I chose to give Winkworths my business. I recently chose to rent my property in Northampton. I chose 3 agents to come round and value the house for rent and discuss the services they could offer. Winkworth were far superior compared to the other agents. They were very supportive in helping me get the house ready for renting and the fees are very competitive. Well I've used this letting agent for over a year and when I started with them I gave them a 5 star but year in and things have changed,My tenant left my property and they went out to do there final checks on my property and was told there was a couple of things that need cleaning ie carpets that were year old And the sofa so I said ok can you get them cleaned week later I rang to be told we no longer mange your property so we will not be doing this well thanks very much,the staff have no eye dear what they are doing and I would not recommend using this company just move on and find a better company

This agency dealt with double room that I was renting in a shared house. Good agency, very good contact, there were ups and downs but definitely more ups! One of the most smoothest handing over the keys at the end of tenancy that I experienced. Friendly staff. Our property took 14 weeks to sell with no upward or downward chain. We even showed the buyers around and "sold the property". Complete lack of service throughout (zero chasing and following up on any points. When asked if we can discuss their fee due to a fall in service we were threatened with interest and additional payments 10 days post the sale when the managing director was out for most of that time. Horrible company to do business with.
