Extremely disappointed with Your Move Sittingbourne, in particular Shannon, having called regarding a property for sale Shannon arranged a viewing the following day at 5pm.
I arrived around 5 minutes early, a journey which took 30 minutes as I don’t live locally, and I waited and waited eventually calling to check where Shannon was. Surprisingly Shannon answered the phone and then went on to tell me that she thought she had spoken to me earlier in the day, obviously she hadn’t because I turned up to the viewing as arranged. She then went on to tell me that the property was under offer. So a wasted journey and my time.
I should have known that she clearly didn’t know how to do her job when I didn’t receive the confirmation email that she said she would send following arranging the viewing.
Perhaps Shannon needs to learn to deal with her administrative tasks effectively, in particular her diary entries, viewings and telephone calls, paying particular attention to cancelling viewings before people turn up, all of which should be part of her role.
I have dealt with a lot of estate agents recently and I can honestly say this has been my worst experience to date.

From the 1st viewing to completion Shannon was amazing, always attentive and listened to our needs after having a bad experience prior to our new house! Got us through to exchange and completion in a tight schedule (with our mortgage offer running out) & EVEN helped us when we were locked out. Theresa also had to pick up on one of the days Shannon was off and she was great! Shannon you’re great!!! Honestly you give estate agents a good name and especially your move. Mark and his team went the extra mile selling my property, first they sold it for the full asking price in under two weeks and then they did loads of work inbetween the solicitors. Everything was seemingly going horribly wrong in the finale days of exchange/completion but they pulled it all back into line keeping me calm and updated, while doing lots of phones calls and leg work!!! They really did an amazing job and I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you so so much.

I have to give Five stars here as we've just moved (finally after a long and difficult few months of searching for the right place). Our house was sold very quickly in a seller's market by Your Move for the right money and to the right kind of buyers most importantly!
A very professional outfit headed up by Joe Jenkins. We feel lucky that we chose to sell with Your move Sittingbourne at a very, very difficult time. For us trying to find a place to buy that wasn't horribly overpriced due to limited supply and too much demand and for the property professionals too who had never seen a housing market like this before. Many deals were simply falling apart, including us having two lots of sellers pull out on a deal with us due to change of mind.
Fortunately Your move Sittingbourne had found us an understanding buyer that was happy and able to sit and wait for us to find somewhere and this really gave us some peace of mind when it could easily have been yet another thing to be stressful about. They were also excellent at keeping us informed and giving sound guidance throughout the whole process. I honestly wonder if we would have managed to find our beautiful home at such a tricky time when we had no choice but to move (SDLT holiday, Covid etc etc) without this support!

Like Traffic Wardens, Estate Agents do get a lot of stick and to be fair, it is often deserved. HOWEVER, Your Move at Sittingbourne definitely isn’t one of them! We chose Your Move after a long and fruitless relationship with another Estate Agent. We chose Your Move from another three Agents invited to tender. Why? We were both very impressed with what Joe, the Manager, had to say, his ides, his honesty and obvious experience was evident. He also seemed a very genuine chap to boot. Their rates were competitive and clearly explained. Once signed up with Your Move, we were getting more viewings from the get-go, always accompanied by Joe, or his No.2, Michael. We received feed-back after EVERY viewing and they were very understanding and supportive when we asked to hold-off with viewings during the third Lockdown. Viewings subsequently recommenced but offers were thin on the ground. It was finally suggested we reduce the asking price to generate more interest. It worked and we had a SOLD sign out-front within 10 days! Furthermore, by changing the price, we got exactly the price we wanted all along - thanks Michael????. I still don’t know how that was achieved? Help didn’t stop there. Having sold our home, we found ourselves in a buying frenzy and couldn’t secure a new home. We found several but offering the asking price and sometimes even higher wasn’t enough! Your Move were fully supportive throughout - keeping us and our buyer here fully informed, in addition to weekly catch-up calls to us and our buyer. The support didn’t stop there……..having finally secured a new home and three weeks away from everyone’s target date, one Solicitor in our chain (not ours) went on holiday. Not a problem? Oh, yes it was! She left an uncommunicative and incompetent three-year-old in charge! Suddenly, our Completion date was in jeopardy. Were it not for the skill, experience and unrelenting prodding and chasing by Joe at Your Move, dates would have been missed and our chain would have broken. As things stand, we Exchanged last Friday and Complete and retire to the seaside in Norfolk on our target date, next week! Anyone who knows me will know I don’t say the following lightly but……..Thank You to EVERYONE at Your Move in Sittingbourne for keeping us sane and for all your hard work and support and professionalism. We would recommend you without hesitation.

We were buying a house through Your Move and it took far longer than it ought to have done because it was jointly owned and the company which owned half dragged their feet throughout the process however Michael phoned me most weeks to give updates which at least reassured me that things were happening. I also appreciated the fact that Michael always made himself available and returned my calls almost immediately but I have to say what impressed me most was how quickly they answered their phone and always by a human being, not once was I put on hold having to listen to dreadful music poorly reproduced. This might have been a very stressful experience but Michael did a great deal to alleviate this. Would use them again.

My consultant, Michael Bolton, was extremely helpful throughout my lengthy house buying process- he was always providing me with updates from the seller, helping me chase my conveyancers, explaining delays and complications so that I could understand etc. Without him, I'm doubtful we'd have been able to complete & exchange at the point we did.
Even though I'm aware agents work for the seller, I felt like Michael was on my side (as the buyer) from beginning to end and his responsiveness, local knowledge & professionalism were instrumental to our purchasing going through.

I am a first time buyer and my offer was accepted by Michael for a property. Was instructed to get solicitors etc which in totalled around £2,000. A month later I was gazumped by a previous buyer who decided to then proceed with buying this property. Later found out that this other buyer at offer accepted through through Your Move Sittingbourne so were dealing with this buyer too on the same property. Where to start - I bought my first property & it was very daunting as it was all new to me. Joe and his team made it as simplified as possible! when speaking to the staff they are always profesional and were always there to help!
I would especially want to say thankyou & highly recommend Michael as from day one of the house viewing, until the date of completion He has always been there giving me updates, liasing very closely with all solicitors running through the process of how it works & even went beyond the duty of assisting when the solicitors were bouncing back from one another about a certificate that was needed to help speed up the moving process. He is down to earth and will tell you what is going on, what he will do & what the next steps will be, which for me is reassuring as being completley new to this I felt I was in safe hands & I had an idea what was going on and I had every confidence in Michael and what he would say to me or advise me! He has given me such a warm welcome to Sittingbourne so I thankyou Michael!
Joe is such a bubbly character & a fantastic manager, he knows how to remain professional as well as have a laugh! and it makes sense as to why his team are always cheerful when you speak to them. Joe has an amazing team and I know in the future I will be looking at rightmove first before anywhere else & will certainly recommend them to my friends & family!

I can’t recommend Your Move in Sittingbourne enough, especially Joe Jenkins. He greatly assisted me in the purchase of my house and nothing was ever too much trouble. He was always at the end of an email or phone to explain processes/any concerns/questions I had also having the patience of a saint! Without doubt, he made the entire process/experience far less stressful with his extreme level of knowledge and explanations etc. The pandemic unfortunately affected the purchasing process re delays etc but Joe’s professionalism together with his fantastic sense of humour kept everything upbeat and I was kept updated throughout. Well where do I Start Joe the Branch Manager worked very hard & Tirelessly though out the sale of the Flat on Great Easthall. nothing was too much trouble.
I can only commend him for his ' Patience' with the Buyer Conveyaner, who was not very good ! but he overcame this in a very professional manner, against all odds.

We loved our experience with Your Move. Our agent Sue showed us one property that it was obvious we were not interested in. On the spot she offered us a viewing of another property she thought we would like. We loved the second property and Sue showed us through it with just the right amount of interference and comments without following us around. Sue also engaged us in conversation about our personal lives and fought for us with the landlord so that he would choose us for the property. After we signed the lease and Sue had worked out any details/questions with the landlord, they held a financial meeting with us. At this meeting they were not forceful and even told us that actually, we really didn't need the service at the time. Overall a great company and experience!
