Lots of promises and good advice at initial face to face meeting. They got me to drop the price quite early on. Two viewings in 7 months. I was supposed to have a phone call with them last week and had an appointment time booked. No phone call but a generic email.
At the start they suggested I have new stair carpet and flooring in some rooms . I had new bathroom, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, landing and stair carpet put down.
They took the house of the market without telling me. The sign was taken from the front of my house. I checked online and they had pulled the house of the market. Almost quite childish?
I think it was a poor set of photos and description having reviewed my experience. They stated partially double glazed when I had every window replaced to double glazed. Just odd things that they didn't mention.
I am not sure if they know the area and market that well as it is a good location.
The house market is always difficult through the winter months but putting that aside , the company just don't communicate at all.
I started to look at other options for selling as you just don't hear from them. I think the last promised phone call was my clear signal that as something needed to change. Their poor practice made the decision for me.
I will express that the guy that saw me on the first visit to discuss selling was very good. Talks a good talk.

Absolutely useless communication across the entire company. Would not recommend in the slightest. Making false promises and claims from the start.

I'll be avoiding Haarts at all. Owner withdraw the property and we weren't even refunded back holding deposit. Following up now since weeks. Called the agent directly, never picked. Called property management, they said refund was processed but never provided transaction ID. They never really follow up after the first call where we mention the problem 100x times. BIG SCAM. Will be reporting to Redress scheme.

Really disappointed with our experience with Haart Leeds. At first things seemed great. The team showed us a few places, and since we weren’t in Leeds, they even did virtual viewings for us. We decided on a property and made it clear from the very start that our move-in date (16th) was fixed and couldn’t be changed.
We paid the deposit and finished all our checks within a few days. Everything on our side was done quickly, and we kept checking in to make sure things were progressing. Then, just a few days before our move, we were suddenly told that the landlord didn’t want to rent the property anymore. Earlier we were told there were some certificates or checks pending from the owner, but this was never mentioned before we booked.
The last-minute cancellation caused us a lot of stress, as we had already organised transport and had to move out from our previous place. It really felt like there was no proper communication or transparency at all.
We’re still waiting for our deposit refund, which they said would take five working days, but it’s already delayed. Very disappointing overall, especially since all of this happened through no fault of ours. I hope someone from their management looks into how this was handled.
Update this comment - Still we have not received our deposit back and people from haarts not even responding to the calls.
Waiting for 3 weeks.

We were not impressed. The lack of communication being the biggest issue. The last email we received was confirmation of our cancellation and was told I would be called after the weekend on the Monday. I'm still waiting. It's been 3 weeks. It was almost like once they had got you to sign the ridiculously long contract they just whacked it on Rightmove then forgot about it. After informing them of our cancellation we received an email telling us all about the potential buyers they had introduced to our property. The list was huge. Where when and how did they introduce all of these potential buyers. We had 3 viewings in 6 months.

Recently bought a new build in Marton, Spicerhaart are selling on behalf of E5. Dealt with new build Sales Director Graham Lang who said he would make the process as smooth as possible. Sadly it could not have been further from the truth the process was very poor communication wise, once they had our deposit for the new build they were not interested.
Graham does not respond to emails or phone calls and speaking to other occupiers on the site it seems they have all had exceptionally poor service from Graham. Avoid this agent whether buying or selling they are only interested in your money, they don’t care about you as a person.

The support of the estate agent was the most important part of this sale transaction for me, because I was selling the property as Executor for my father's estate, and I live overseas. Therefore I needed a trustworthy, professional, diligent estate agent, with reliable swift communications and effective marketing skills. Haart in Dereham fulfilled all of these requirements admirably, and I was delighted with a smooth and successful transactional outcome. In particular, I must mention Elton the Manager for his enthusiastic attention to the initial listing and creative photography skills which showed the property in excellent graphic detail. And also Roxy the sales administrator, who was always on hand to coordinate between myself, the buyers and the conveyancers. Her friendly, polite and efficient support was priceless! Overall, I unconditionally reccomend the Haart Dereham team for anyone who is selling or buying a house in their area!

Just brought a property from Haart in Grantham, it was a friendly experience from start to finish. I dealt with Tracey Nicholls who gave me some great advice and got me the house of my dreams. Tracey called me straight away with any news regarding offers etc and kept me in the loop, all the staff I dealt with had a friendly helpful nature.
