We wanted to say thank you to David Lovitt who showed us around our first home and was our contact at Peter Alan during the house buying process. Despite acting for the seller, he was always at the other end of the phone during what turned into quite a complex sale. We appreciated his experience, professionalism, and patience. Not happy at all with the service at all I’d made an offer to view a property I was the first person to enquire about it. I then had a phone call on the day of the viewing 2 hours before to say the landlord hadn’t given the keys yet so they would let me know by 12 on that day to say if it’s being rescheduled or not. I had no phone call I had to phone 3 times to get hold of them until eventually answered at 11:59 and said it had to be cancelled bare in mind my viewing was at 1pm that day I’d been told I’d be contacted to view the property and I’d be first in line. I’d not heard anything for a day or so so in total I’d called 15 times over the last 6 days with no answer at all to find out today when they’d finally answered the phone the property has been given to someone else. I think it’s absolutely disgusting that I had to call and find out myself and the women on the phone said all I can do is apologise when I’d stated an apology isn’t going to get me the viewing for the house? I’m not happy with this and I will be taking it further as I even mentioned on the phone when she’d cancelled that I’d accept it without a viewing.

We recently sold our property through Peter Alan. The branch were helpful and always willing to assist. We have no complaints about the branch team at all.<br><br>Unfortunately, our experience with the sales progression service was very disappointing. Communication was poor, emails often went unanswered and we regularly had to chase for updates ourselves.<br><br>Completion was also poorly handled, with our purchase agent contacting us first to tell us our sale had completed.<br><br>We emailed Peter Alan afterwards to explain our concerns, but we still haven't heard anything back from the sales progressor, which is particularly disappointing.<br><br>It’s a shame, as our experience with the branch team was very positive. However, based on the overall experience, we wouldn't use Peter Alan again and would be reluctant to recommend them.<br><br>Thank you again to the branch.

I am writing this review to warn other landlords considering Peter Alan for fully managed letting services.<br><br>My experience as a landlord with their fully managed service has been unacceptable:<br><br>1. Inadequate Property Oversight: Regular, thorough property inspections were severely neglected. When inspections did occur, they were superficial and failed to report obvious issues.<br><br>2. Property Damage Ignored: Direct tenant damage to the property was brushed off and incorrectly dismissed as "normal wear and tear," leaving me with the responsibility and cost.<br><br>3. Zero Communication & Ignored Grievances: Emails went unanswered for extended periods. Formal complaints regarding their poor management standards were routinely ignored.<br><br>4. Financial & Accounting Errors: Statements contained accounting inaccuracies, and fees were charged for services that were never requested or agreed upon.<br><br>5. Failure to Release Account: When I formally terminated our contract due to their fundamental breach of service duties, they refused to acknowledge the termination or cooperate with the handover to my new agent, continuing to attempt to issue automated demands.

Having recently sold our parents house through Peter Alan Morriston, I can only say that I would STRONGLY advise anyone to steer clear. My sister and I have found them to be totally inefficient, poor communication and lacking local knowledge. Firstly, they could see the condition on the house and I presume would know the local value, but were WAY out on price, which I believe was over inflated to get us to go with them. Secondly, they would rarely get back to us when leaving a message, as you could rarely get through. Plus we would give them answers to queries from the vendor, then a few days later they would ring us back saying the vendor was worried as they had received no reply and yet THEY had not passed on the message. Also, they had been trying and trying (apparently) to contact the buyer's estate agents to ask necessary questions and could never get through, I tried the same today, spoke to them and the matter was resolved!? Many a time it seems like the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing, because somebody was off on holidays and hadn't relayed the message. All in all we found them utterly useless and if it wasn't for the fact that we were so far down the road, we would have changed. Our advice is to steer clear, you have been warned!!!
