I only give 1* as you can't give 0*. I strongly recommend to avoid this place. We recently bought a house with them and it was such as bad and stressful experience from the very beginning.
As we have gift money for deposit from our parents that live outside the UK, they had to do International transfer which took a few days (booking appointment etc). We informed agency when they will receive deposit confirmation and they still chase us every day and remind that if they won't receive it someone can bit our offer.
Before we put our offer we have been told there is no chain but after few weeks when we were ready for completion date we had info that "chain above their chain is not ready yet" so we had to wait additional 5 weeks.
To speak with person who was dealing with our purchase we had to phone the office and person was never available and our messages was never passed to her.
Before signing the contract we wanted to double check the house and first we had to give them reasons why we want to double visit and then our appointments has been cancelled 3 times at the visit date when we already booked time off at work.
After sale I send few emails and never received any replies. Very unprofessional and poor service.
I just really hope to not deal with them never again.

Worked with Peter Alan to sell my property, Thai Trezise was friendly, knowledgeable, available and took the time to understand what we were trying to do. He kept me updated throughout the process and got us to the right outcome. Highly recommend Thai, my go to guy now for all things property.
Also need to mention Sarah Bunting who made sure we got the move completed, she worked tirelessly and drove all parties forward - exemplary service and highly recommended.

Really friendly and helpful staff,
Joseph showed me around and answered any questions that I had about the property.
On this occasion the house , while in a nice area, was a little too small for my needs.
I will stay in touch with Joseph and the Caerphilly branch of Peter Alan and see what properties become available.

I found Peter Alan quite unpleasant to deal with. Despite clearly stating multiple times that we were happy with our current mortgage broker, they repeatedly pressured us to arrange a meeting with theirs. This led to excessive calls—sometimes three or four times a day—which quickly became frustrating.
Additionally, when we identified another property of interest, it was extremely difficult to get through to them. We had to call several times, and on some occasions, it felt as though calls were being ignored or even deliberately disconnected.
Overall, a very disappointing experience.

When you tell any other estate agent that you are no longer looking for a property, they seem to understand. For some reason after repeatedly telling Peter Alan I'm not longer interested, they keep bombarding you with emails and calls.

I have been extremely pleased with the service I have received from all the staff at the Mansel Street Office. Melissa, Molly and Brian have all been helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, and generally a joy to work with. Highly recommend.

Having recently sold our parents house through Peter Alan Morriston, I can only say that I would STRONGLY advise anyone to steer clear. My sister and I have found them to be totally inefficient, poor communication and lacking local knowledge. Firstly, they could see the condition on the house and I presume would know the local value, but were WAY out on price, which I believe was over inflated to get us to go with them. Secondly, they would rarely get back to us when leaving a message, as you could rarely get through. Plus we would give them answers to queries from the vendor, then a few days later they would ring us back saying the vendor was worried as they had received no reply and yet THEY had not passed on the message. Also, they had been trying and trying (apparently) to contact the buyer's estate agents to ask necessary questions and could never get through, I tried the same today, spoke to them and the matter was resolved!? Many a time it seems like the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing, because somebody was off on holidays and hadn't relayed the message. All in all we found them utterly useless and if it wasn't for the fact that we were so far down the road, we would have changed. Our advice is to steer clear, you have been warned!!!

If I could give 0 I would. Having used 6 different letting agents in the last 10 years I can say without a doubt that Peter Alan are the worst and out of all the office in Cardiff the Llanishen one seems to harbour the most incompetent out of them all.
We had to get environmental health involved for our toilet to be fixed, toilet that was broken before we even moved in and was stated as broken on the inventory. It took 10 months to get it sorted. They are also terrible at doing anything relating to their jobs, meaning they make all sorts of mistakes that cost our landlord hundred of pounds and more in emergency repairs. Three months after the tenancy ended they are still getting in touch because they know nothing about the property and are struggling to support the new tenants. If you're going to use Peter Alan, at least avoid this office. For your sake and good luck!

Sold our house with Peter Alan TG within 3 weeks of it being on the market. Photos that were taken were done quickly and of a high standard. Turnaround was 48h from instruction to being on market, with photos. Jade was superb beginning to end - personable, knowledgable and reacted quickly. Would recommend to anybody and will be using again in the future. Shout out as well to Henry and Sam who did the viewings.
Also got our mortgage sorted for our onward purchase with Jamie. Really good guy and look forward to working with him in the future.
