We live outside the UK, but Oakmans managed to gain access to the property and show potential buyers around with no fuss. Their valuation proved to be more accurate and optimistic than other agents that we tried, so we ended up with a good offer. Their fee was also the best that we were offered.

The property manager Johnathan Smith has done an excellent job less than 2 months we have a buyer and are happy with the price he has achieved. I would highly recommend both the rental and sales aspects of their business Sean Boyle. BEM.

5th May 2023 (1 year ago)Completely rude and unprofessional. Didn't seem to care during conversation or negotiations. I would not recommend working with or engaging with this organisation as the owner is entirely rude and entitled. Completely poor service to prospective clients. Owner Leon was unprofessional and walked away during the middle of a conversation. AVOID USING THIS AGENCY.

The agents have zero interest in your needs and interests but expect maximum cooperation when they need it. Totally unprofessional bordering on being ignorant, causing me ongoing problems because of their lack of communications.

1st Feb 2024 (15 weeks ago)I had a very easy-going and straightforward letting experience with Amber Court Lettings. The communication was fast, clear, and very accommodating to my time limitations. Both Charlotte and Matt were great and I'd highly recommend Amber Court Lettings for other tenants!
12th Mar 2019 (5 years ago)Had a valuation from Mr Pretty that was quite disappointing, instead of valuating our house he just suggested what he thought based on houses in the area, this can vary within half a mile, looked very uninterested and gave us no information compared to other agents. We actually sold our house for £27,000 more than Mr Pretty valuated and that was with it only being on the market for one week, just be aware if you do not live in Alvechurch not to waste your time.

Laughable lack of communication. I can't even say that they are refusing to return the deposit, or made up an excuse to avoid doing it, as they have dropped all communications entirely.

I wanted to schedule a viewing for the week but only one person was able to show the house who wasn't available at the time we requested. I've made 3 attempts to now contact this individual and they have still not replied or returned my phonecall. Disgusting service. Renting property shouldn't be this hard.

Taz was fantastic throughout - really warm, friendly and personable. She kept in contact throughout and was always available to answer any queries no matter how small. The experience was really personalised. Would highly recommend!

4th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)We moved our house sale to Rice Chamberlain after spending a number of months on the market with another agent and not getting any offers. RC did a superb job of marketing our house, going above and beyond our previous estate agent, and priced it at a more reasonable and realistic point. Within days we had a lot of interest and within weeks we had multiple offers, one of which we accepted. Sarah was absolutely brilliant throughout the sale process, keeping both sides talking when solicitors were being slow. We wouldn't have got the sale concluded so quickly without her! She was invaluable throughout the process and we really appreciated her advice. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of selling, particularly in the Kings Norton area as they have the edge over any competitor with their local knowledge to sell the area as well as the house.
