7th Apr 2024 (19 days ago)Communication from Oakmans from all concerned has been excellent. We live outside the UK, but Oakmans managed to gain access to the property and show potential buyers around with no fuss. Their valuation proved to be more accurate and optimistic than other agents that we tried, so we ended up with a good offer. Their fee was also the best that we were offered.

6th Nov 2023 (25 weeks ago)(Posting under another name for my own safety) Had the worst experience with these letting agents. Flat was given to us in a horrifying state, with old tenants furniture scattered around the place and dust, spiders and silverfish roaming the kitchen and the bathroom. Impolite staff and gave us late responses during our tenancy, while having the audacity to charge us for things that were not in the contract or mentioned beforehand.

18th Jan 2023 (1 year ago)They did not sell my property. The only reason that I have put a sold date in is that the GetAgent system does not allow me to proceed unless a date is put in. My experience with Maguire Jackson is that although they were highly recommended by Get Agent and they came back with an valuation which I thought was reasonable (ie it was not the highest valuation I received) they did not manage to sell the property in possibly one of the most busiest periods in property sales for the last 10 years. Initially they were very hands on and I had lots of contact however when it didn't sell in the first few weeks it was almost as if they lost interest. I had several calls chasing them and they agreed to do a "once a week" update, however again after the couple of weeks that too stopped. If your property initially generates a lot of interest and there are offers then I guess they may well be competent agency, however if it requires them to put some effort into selling it then I would recommend looking around

12th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)We were very fortunate to have found Davidsons Estate Agents last year and we hired them to rent out our property in Birmingham City Centre after which I engaged them to sell the property. The property manager Johnathan Smith has done an excellent job less than 2 months we have a buyer and are happy with the price he has achieved. I would highly recommend both the rental and sales aspects of their business Sean Boyle. BEM.

28th Mar 2019 (5 years ago)The owner of this letting agent literally assaulted me and my friend when we went in to complain about a faulty dishwasher in his flat a few years back. Also, when he moved out of that flat it took them almost a year to pay them back his deposit - they made absolutely no attempt to pay to to him until he literally went in to force them to do it, with the threat of legal action. AVOID!!!!
10th Jan 2024 (15 weeks ago)It has been one and a half years since Centrick took over the management of my property, and it has been a terrible experience living in my flat. They have been unprofessional, entering my flat without permission, and constantly seeking excuses to evict me despite timely rent payments. They issued a Section 21 notice, and now they are increasing the rent significantly, requiring me to undergo referencing again despite three years of continuous renting. They are also altering payment dates arbitrarily as a new agent takes over, causing unnecessary stress. Despite my attempts, senior management has not reached out to address these issues. I cannot recommend Centrick to landlords or tenants based on the distressing experience I've endured.

19th Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)Overall our experience with Martin and Co. was adequate. The market is obviously difficult at the moment so we decided to come off the market after 2 months. Martin and co. were quick to respond to emails but we didn’t provide a lot of feedback on viewings. They were no sale no fee so fine in terms of value for money.
5th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)Jay has rented out my properties in Solihull for past several years and there is never any rental voids - he always comes through with finding the right tenants everytime. He is very confident and knowledgeable about the market and he is well respected by landlords and tenants. I have always had an excellent service from Jay and his team and I would recommend him anytime.
13th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)Very unprofessional. Simon advertised a company(bar/nightclub) for sale as "confidential" to which i called and book an appointment. Turns out the club they were advertising is NOT the nightclub they told me over the phone. I have spoken to the owners of the club which told me its not for sale......Once i mentioned this i have received no reply. Feels very much like a "bait and switch" which in UK is completely illegal, reported to ASA for false advertising.
