14th Mar 2025 (10 weeks ago)I am certain that Tim Gover and his team got the best price for us for our cottage in Swaledale - and we agreed the sale within two or three weeks of first advertising. Their sales and marketing strategy really worked for us. They took excellent pictures, made a lovely brochure, advertised widely, and were very efficient with the viewings that took place despite the challenging approach to the property and time of year (winter). They kept me informed of all viewings, and all of their staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgable whenever I called the office. I appreciated that the person conducting the viewings was willing to help me turn on the heating when the LPG gas ran out, as I live a couple of hundred miles away. There were quite a few snags along the way to completion, but this was not their fault, and they gave us good advice. They recommended/organised decent local contractors such as tree surgeons and drainage companies. They were prompt in dealing with emails and requests from our solicitor and always took my concerns as a vendor seriously. Tim himself has a great manner, and is very reassuring to chat with. Ours was not a particularly expensive property and yet I felt we got a great level of service. The only negative, not worth losing a whole star over were that the decription of the property for the advertising was not as thorough as I would have liked - and I ended up rewriting it - but that has happened with every estate agent I have dealt with this year (selling three properties with three different agents) so maybe more to do with me than them! Huge thanks to Tim and all the team for getting the best price for our property in an efficient process!

We encountered them when buying a house a few years ago and were impressed at their fairness in handling the buyer/seller balance. Hence tje decision to use them when selling. This last transaction fell at a difficult time and had some complications but they showed patience, persistence, courtesy and even humour. In brief, we trust them.

We were impressed throughout the process by their level of knowledge, kindness and professionalism. In all our years of buying and selling houses we have never received this level of support and outstanding service - prompt updates, considered advice, superb communication, all leading to a sale. A huge thank you.

Although we did not purchase our property through Savills, we were so impressed with email correspondence and contact from Tom about properties which were yet to appear on the market. I think our reviewing Savills without buying a property from them is testament to their quality of service.

It’s been a rollercoaster of a ride with lots of ups and downs but we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and we’re so excited to get into our beautiful home. I’ve never experienced customer service like it. Completely exceeded my expectations and gone above and beyond in every aspect. 29th Apr 2025 (23 days ago)We’ve just purchased our first house through Stones Young. Karen was amazing throughout, very professional, reassuring and extremely friendly. Response to emails is always quick and they’re more than happy to help with any questions you have. Including a little after care when we got the keys of contacting the seller about some little bits for us, to make the move easier. When Karen was out of office, Sarah would ensure emails were still responded to, she was equally as lovely and very helpful. The overall experience through Stones Young was great :)
