27th Sep 2023 (1 year ago)Cannot recommend Joel and his team in Wells high enough. First class service and customer care. Regular updates on viewings with sound feedback. Once a potential buyer was secured, the team of four monitored the progress of the conveyancing law firms of both the buyer and ourselves, and what a bonus that was when ‘lethargy’ appeared to have ‘rooted’ itself in the process on several occasions. The commission was sensible and they deserved every penny. ????

We viewed with you yesterday and although the property was not for us our experience with Farrons was very good. Dani has excellent telephone skills and a cheerful manner! Anna is an expert negotiator and gave us her time and knowledge. Very pleased to recommend.

- 7th Apr 2025 (6 weeks ago)I have had Cooper and tanner manage my rental property over the last couple of years, Most of the staff are lovely, apart from the lettings Manager Caroline Peebles Brown who is very rude. I asked for a valuation of my property while it’s being let , I was just curious to know its value , to which Caroline impertinently answered rudely you can’t sell your property yet! I have decided to terminate my tenancy contract as they fail to communicate and Caroline’s poor customer service skills. Please be careful before using this estate agent!

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Michael was very professional at all stages, always replying to any queries quickly, giving excellent advice and always available. We were really pleased with the photos and marketing, and viewings and achieved a quick sale. We were also very happy with the aftercare too, making sure the sale went through smoothly. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Charles Barnard again.

It went on the market on the Monday, by Thursday we had 3 offers on the table and by Friday it was sold. They made every effort to keep me in the loop every step of the way and took all the stress out of selling by being the most exceptional agent and dealing with everything. Thanks to Peter and his team the process couldn't have been any easier and I can not recommend them enough.

Communication before, during and after was excellent, and the team were lovely, which is what you need when dealing with the stress of moving house! They turned up at the time that was agreed and were fully equipped for the job. They treated all my belongings with respect, as well as taking care when manoeuvring around tight corners and up and down the stairs. They went above and beyond to help with my move, ensuring that everything was unloaded into the correct rooms and didn’t leave until I was happy that everything was where it was supposed to be. The cost was significantly cheaper than other companies. They provided a top quality service for a more than reasonable price. I would highly recommend House of Jackson as a removal service and will definitely be using them for all moves in the future. Thank you Luke, Marcus and Brandon!
