15th Nov 2021 (3 years ago)This used to be a decent enough place until they employed idiots during the pandemic. The Shirley one who started in 2021 is particularly rude and obnoxious. She simply will not answer emails or return calls. Nothing professional about her at all but I guess when you pay peanuts you get monkeys! ???????

22nd May 2024 (8 mo. ago)I recently sold my property through Wardhaugh, and found the staff to be extremely personable and knowledgeable. The sale encountered some difficulties, however Jen and Roddy were there to offer sound advice and reassurance, which ultimately resulted in a successful conclusion. The photography and marketing service was extremely good, and weekend and out of hours viewings were included in the service. Overall, I was extremely happy with the service provided, and would recommend.

18th Mar 2024 (10 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Communication had to be prompted from the start, no viewings until I suggested changes to the advert, the is no responsibility taken by the staff. They are more happy to ignore your questions and hope you go away. Steer well clear

From start to finish, the team were very professional, proactive, and highly knowledgeable. Their communication was outstanding, keeping me informed at every stage of the process. They provided expert advice, handled all queries promptly, and made what was a stressful experience feel smooth and straightforward. Their marketing strategy was effective, resulting in a quick sale at a price I was very happy with. I highly recommend Rosie and her team to anyone looking to buy or sell a property – they truly exceeded my expectations!
3rd Dec 2022 (2 years ago)All in all, I think I was expecting more than “just adequate” from such a large firm. I use another solicitor in the firm for my personal/business matters who performs on a much higher level than the property squad. There seems to be a lot of staff dealing with the booking of viewings, so a lot of of double calls/emails about individual viewing requests. A word file property questionnaire, which was completed at the start and emailed back, never seemed to be referred to. This led to being constantly asked to answer questions which could have been answered by checking it. Staff, however much they were briefed about my desires and needs for the sale of a post divorce renovate and sell (so a financial cut and run with a low end figure on my end of what I’d accept), could never take it upon themselves to act proactively on my behalf and it always seemed like I had to make the strategy as to how to go about the sale of a house. Communication wasn’t great around the time of the initial sale date and little came in terms of updates, especially as it was a weekend. I expected some information on the Monday. In the end I emailed on Wednesday to get information, all of which I thought I shouldn’t have to make the first move on.
