6th Aug 2020 (4 years ago)I recently sold and purchased a house through the Kinver office. It was during the very stressful national lockdown and consequently all communication had to be done either on the phone or by email. Dawn, based at the Kinver office, was always upbeat, willing to help and allay any worries. Both sales were handled with professionalism, kindness and with, i might add, much patience by Dawn. I could not have wished for more helpful, kinder staff and I would highly recommend Midcalf Nicholls to anyone. A big thank you to all at the Kinver office. Billy Pooler

The valuation was around the figure we had hoped for and our house was sold with four weeks. The service we received from Phil in particular was excellent.

On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in
9th Nov 2020 (4 years ago)Nicol & Co delivered a fantastic service from start to finish. The channel of communication remained open from the moment we had our property valued by Robin to when we collected the keys at completion. They allowed us to view properties that were on their books but were not yet on the market and it was one of these that we are now lucky enough to call our home. It was actually Matt Nicol who was in the hot seat when we sold our house and it came as a result of him following up with previously interested parties after we decided to drop out asking price slightly. Once at the stage of completing legal documentation Nicol & Co sent an employee to our house to ensure it was done correctly, thus avoiding any delays further down the line. This was an unexpected bonus that was hugely appreciated. The sales progression team were exceptionally helpful and Odette was able to guide us through answering the inquiries we received from our purchasers and Coral ensured the solicitors were working towards the timeline we had requested. Nicol & Co were there to guide us at every step of the process and I would certainly recommend them to friends and family.

Unit 1 and unit 2 Cupola, Spetchley, WR5 1RS(3 reviews)31st Aug 2024 (7 mo. ago)We were buying our dream house through Andrew Grant in 2023 and they were selling ours as well, to supposedly make the process easier. I would never use or recommend Andrew Grant for either selling or buying property. Andrew Grant insisted on a £5000 reservation fee for the house we wanted to buy (more than the normal £3000). Andrew Grant then put the house (we thought we were buying) back on the market after just 4 months, but refused to give us our £5000 reservation fee back. At the same time they changed the wording across their website from “the property ‘will’ be marked as Sold Subject to Contract” to “the property ‘may’ be marked as Sold Subject to Contract” after the buyer pays the reservation fee. The matter is now being dealt with by The Property Ombudsman and Trading Standards will hopefully be involved. Buyers beware- do not leave a reservation fee with Andrew Grant! Any buyers or sellers considering using Andrew Grant should read their T&Cs very very carefully before entering into any agreement with them and keep all copies of any correspondence.
