We called up and spoke with Gennie who was very helpful and recommended James Goodman as we needed a surveyor for a split title deeds survey.<br><br>James came out to meet us, he was punctual, smartly dressed and very professional. He was extremely helpful and very knowledgable, offering lots of advice and ideas in how best to move forward for us in a unique situation.<br><br>James put us at ease making the whole process from start to finish an easy, smooth transition and all done in great time!<br><br>Highly recommend James and this company for anyone needing land surveying services.<br><br>Regards<br>Sam Turner

15th Jul 2026 (15 days ago)We have just ended our tenancy in Castle Donington to buy our own home.<br>We have had great service from Cottons, and the landlord was excellent. The house was pristine (the way we returned it too) , he was very responsive to any of the minor repairs that needed to be complete during our tenancy, I'd highly rate 72 Station Road, if you are thinking of renting it!<br>We dealt with Charlotte for the check out inspection and she was very helpful, arrived from Birmingham on time and was bubbly and enthusiastic.<br><br>thanks all.

7th May 2026 (12 weeks ago)unfortunately my experience with this agency has been consistently disappointing. Many of the properties they advertise look great and are reasonably priced, which is why I kept applying and contacting them repeatedly. However, despite numerous enquiries, I have never once been offered a viewing. The process is always the same: you call about a property, they ask you to complete an application form, you send all your information, and then you receive an automatic email saying someone will contact you shortly. But nobody ever does. The most frustrating part is the complete lack of communication. Other agencies usually contact applicants to explain whether viewings are available, whether the property already has too many applicants, or whether the application was unsuccessful. This agency simply ignores people after they submit their details. I even contacted them multiple times to ask for clarification, and each time I received the same scripted responses such as “we cannot offer viewings to everyone.” I understand that perfectly. The issue is not rejection — the issue is the lack of professionalism and communication. For context, I have a good rental history, and I currently rent a property that actually costs more than many of the properties I applied for through this agency. I am financially able to afford the rent, so the complete lack of response is difficult to understand. I also know several local friends (families) who tried to rent through this agency and had similarly negative experiences. They described the agency as completely unhelpful and said the process caused them a huge amount of unnecessary stress.If applicants are told someone will contact them, then they should receive an update, even if the answer is no. People are left waiting with no information at all. I also found the staff quite dismissive and unhelpful during phone conversations. Communication felt rushed and unfriendly rather than supportive. I genuinely feel this agency needs to improve its customer service, transparency, and communication with applicants. A simple update or honest explanation would save people a lot of time and stress but they usually say:”We have no time for that”!!!Actually it’s part of your job!
11th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)We recently exchange contracts on a property. Gary was brilliant from start to finish. Great communication from negotiating and updates throughout the process. Alan who showed us round on a few occasions was also brilliant. Knowledgeable about the properties and very personable! I would recommend the agent for selling and buying very professional. I'm also a mortgage broker so communicate with a lot of estate agents and I found them so easy to deal with!
27th Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)My husband and I would like to give our deepest thanks for the efforts of Peter Newitt. He did an amazing job of matching us with the perfect rental property. He is very perceptive at matching landlords with tenants. Through Peter keeping who we are and what we were hoping for in mind he found us our dream place after just one previous viewing. By this point we'd had viewings with various other local estate agents and we can state categorically that Peter is of a calibre that you'd hope to find but rarely do. Professional, genuine and delivers.<br>Furthermore our experience so far of the general services of the agency has been professional and congenial and we would gladly recommend.

They followed up after our viewing and even though technically we weren’t their clients, they were always helpful and friendly. If I was to put our house on the market they would definitely be on top of the list of agencies I’d consider going with.

21st Jul 2026 (9 days ago)I would like to express my sincere gratitude to this agency, especially to the two amazing ladies (Gina and Nina) from letting department,who helped me find a home.<br><br>From the very beginning, I was impressed by their professionalism. They never made unrealistic promises or gave false hope. Instead, they were always honest, transparent, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. They answered every question promptly and always let me know the outcome of each application, even when it was unsuccessful. I truly appreciated their clear communication and honesty.<br><br>They were also incredibly friendly, positive, and supportive. They guided me through every step of the renting process, explained everything clearly, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel much easier.<br><br>Thanks to their hard work, I found a home in less than three weeks. I had only three viewings, and my application for the third property was successful.<br><br>I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. 8th Jul 2026 (22 days ago)I honestly can't praise the help, guidance and ongoing support I had from Shipways property management during a very rare issue for any of the team to comprehend managing. The case was very complex in regards to getting the issue rectified immediately. It was a case of bats in the loft, a new boiler needed but laws having to be adeared to. Tom at property management was so supportive throughout the whole 2 month saga that comes with 'bat conservation' laws and a protective species. He was a constant throughout it all. Checking in, apologetic although it was an issue out of his, mine or the landlords hands. He bridged a gap between authorities outside of the usual duties, to make sure the situation was dealt with as soon as possible, for all parties involved. Over the past 2 months he really has been a valued help, support and fully appreciated. I couldn't have expected any more, so thank you!

17th Jul 2026 (13 days ago)We viewed a property with Rachel and she was lovely. Her service at the viewing was fantastic.<br><br>However, my experience with Felicity was not so positive. I called following the viewing to be told the house had received an offer at the viewing. Yep, that’s cool, it happens and the nature of the beast. I asked to receive a call back and never received a call back, despite being in the market. The following week the house had come online on Rightmove. I called and spoke to felicity again… she explained the house had gone on to “show as sold on RM”, again, that’s cool, it happens. However, my bugbear was that she couldn’t wait to get me off the phone. Whilst trying to talk, I was in receipt of; “ok thank you, Goodbye”, as sales tactic to shut down a call. She told me the house went for “quite over the asking price”. I joked in asking “what for” (knowing she couldn’t tell me the number), however, her response was just to push me off the phone. I work in sales and understand the when someone’s trying to get you off the phone. I called at 4pm today (Friday 17th), so maybe you don’t want to deal with me on a Friday evening. However, having worked in sales for 16 years, I may not be worth money to you right now, however, I could be worth money to you tomorrow. Networking and customer care is key. Trying to force someone off the phone is poor form. Despite being a potential buyer at some stage, there was no customer aftercare, no asking what else I’d like. Zero, nothing. I’ve spoken to numerous agents and all of them have asked what I’m looking for, or tried to discuss another property with me. Felicity couldn’t care. She may have had a bad day at the office, but that’s no excuse.<br><br>From my experience with Rachel, I’d buy from Rachel, she was great. However, my experience with Felicity, I’d not buy from Felicity, her customer service was abysmal, it felt like she was not interested at all, maybe because we’re not buying right this second.

I have bought 3 Hands off investments and had great experience rents paid on time & no headache as they promised me. I get amazing rents that I didn’t know were even possible. I have also used them for selling & they were fabulous ! Recommended the investments to my colleagues also who have had similar experiences. Opa are quite different to other agents. They love what they do and are very good at it. I would specifically like to thank Zara she is literally amazing. So knowledgeable, she always wants to help and protect you. She gives very honest advice that guy can 100% trust. Even if there’s a problem. Or a stress during the conveyancing she is there fighting for you and taking the stress away.
1st Jul 2026 (29 days ago)Jones and associates are professional estate agents who sold my home . We met Jason when he came to valve our home he made us feel that selling it would be top priority. A wattsapp group was set up to keep in contact with them within 2weeks and a lot of work my house had sold. The photographer who took the pictures was very professional when taking the pictures and presented a perfect set of photos .If I needed to know anything I only had to write on wattsapp and it was quickly answered . They also provided an after sales person who communicated with both parties solicitors. I would definitely recommend this estate agents to ensure that you get a very professional service and a stress free experience when selling your home
