We had a property that was relatively easy to sell, but slightly complicated by the fact it was going through probate. Clear communication with potential buyers ensured that there were no slip ups with a slightly longer than usual sale process. We could have appointed other agents for a lower fee, but I think the coverage and marketing from Knight Frank ensured we maximised the sale price and even after any additional agent fees we likely received the best price we could. Also good work from Giselle the sales progressor in seeing it all over the line.

From our very first conversation, Mollie was incredibly supportive, approachable, and always willing to answer any questions we had, no matter how big or small.<br>Buying your first home can be overwhelming, but Mollie made the whole process feel much less daunting. She was always flexible in arranging additional viewings around our work schedules and consistently went above and beyond to accommodate us. Throughout the process, she kept us informed, offered valuable guidance, and genuinely shared in our excitement whenever we reached an important milestone.<br>What stood out most was how much she genuinely cared. We never felt like just another sale; it was clear that Mollie wanted the best outcome for us and was invested in helping us find the right home.<br>We would highly recommend both Dixons and Mollie to anyone looking to buy a property. 12th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Savills were the letting agent for my property for about 6yrs after being bought by Area Estates. Savills do bare minimum with regards to repairs and maintenance. Camilla Kirby who recently left the company was lovely and made every effort to assist with the limited authority she had, sadly she was replaced by Rachel Bentley who is condescending, rude and quite frankly should not deal with the public in any capacity. Following a S21 notice due to selling before the new landlord rules come into affect in May, they attempted to charge £760 for removal of a fish tank from the loft of property despite it being in the property from the beginning of the tenancy and having no proof it wasn’t. She lied in a reference and stated that it couldn’t be changed as the director had approved it, and when I pressed her saying the reference was factually incorrect she stated “the DWP may be able to assist you with something in writing about your benefits”.

11th May 2026 (25 weeks ago)I hadn't experienced the buying and selling market for a number of years, so to enter with an established firm I knew and trusted was essential. From the initial consultation to trying to sell, they were always responsive and helpful. As the chain (although short) started to become slow and non-responsive, they still tried to do all they could. I would particularly like to single out Terri for her attention to detail and empathy when dealing with the sale of my departed parents property. She really worked over and above to make it happen. Thank you.

Good advice from Andrew to obtain a Surveyor to help establish the structural condition of the house and inform the sale price. Exceptional support from all the Samuel Wood team during viewings and dealing with offers. A very professional business.

We were selling from afar and they were able to be key holders and to advise about local tradespeople which was really helpful.

Emdot maintained no communication except for digital statistics taken from right move etc. I had a call after 2 weeks on the market regarding no viewings suggesting to drop the price - wasn't it them who valued it only 2 weeks previous at that value? 6 weeks later and no verbal communication from them and no viewings. I suggested changing the outside view of the property and a talk over the video plus a couple of descriptive comments. Still no viewings and no suggestions from them so it was time to change agents and try somebody else. I wonder if all clients are ignored for weeks or was there bias in me being a single 65 year old woman - would they have treated a man or younger couple with the same attitude? Very disappointed. If the house had have sold, they would not have earned their commission.
