6th Apr 2024 (23 days ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things
14th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.
7th Jun 2023 (10 mo. ago)Amazing service from Warners - all staff were attentive and supportive from the beginning. Even with a sale fall through and having to go back on the market, they helped ease the upset of what was a really upsetting time, found me a new buyer and completed 6 weeks later. Cannot fault their service, Caitlin Meaney was my negotiator and made me feel like nothing was too much trouble and gave fantastic advice / came across very knowledgeable on the market for the area and time I was selling. Would 100% recommend Warners, and have already done so to a few also looking to sell. I met with around 4 estate agencies total and Warners were the clear choice from the start. Thanks so much for all your help! We now have sold our flat and purchased our forever family home and couldn’t have done it without your help.

The sale of our house was a big step for me and my family as it was our first family home with so many special memories and Chris was the absolute perfect person to help us on that journey. From the initial discussion through the day of the sale and beyond, he was more supportive than we could have ever asked for. Even when we had the stress of having to put our house back on the market due to our initial buyers falling through, he helped guide us on best next steps. His knowledge of the industry is unparalleled and it being a family business just gives everything an even more special feeling. Thank you Chris, Laura, Christeen and Angela. You were all the absolute dream team. We can’t ever thank you all enough. If you are selling your house please trust me when I say they are the absolute best in the business.

I bought a property in falkirk After week I was gone to check the property what I need I made state agent He told me If you don't need a property Somebody else pay me extra money money I told him Property already sold to me Why are you saying that He told me it is okay So I receive a call next day He told me Property sold for somebody else It is absolutely Disgusting E took extra money The property which has been sold already That is races Because I am asian The agent name johnston Please avoid this person e will do anything for extra money

26th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)I requested a visit for a valuation at Allen & Harris estate agents and had a date booked. I was allocated an estate agent from the start and he made contact with me by email to introduce himself. This gave me reassurance and comfort that I had a direct contact with an estate agent from the beginning and I didn't have to call a shop and wait to be put through to speak to an estate agent. Due to a change of circumstances I had to change date of valuation and contacted Tony my estate agent to see if he could attend my home that same day. To my surprise Tony fitted me in for a valuation the same day! I was delighted with the service. It was unhurried, straight to the point and most importantly I didn't feel under pressure to choose them. The whole visit was finished within 45 mins which suited me as I had other things to do that day. More importantly Allen & Harris had the best rates compared to other estate agents. Since choosing Allen & Harris I have been in contact with my estate agent Tony nearly everyday asking questions and finalising my plans. Tony always returns my emails promptly and nothing is ever a hassle! I wasn't looking forward to having estate agents visit my house and listen to their marketing spiel but Tony was different and made choosing an estate agents easier than expected. I would highly recommend Tony at Allen & Harris, Stirling.

Charlie who dealt with us from the start was great and kept us up to date with any information that needed to be passed on. Obviously they are a bit more expensive than other agents, however you get what you pay for. Thanks again

5th Apr 2024 (24 days ago)Extremely poor communication, from a very rude and abrasive admin working in Linlithgow I believe. We phoned to put an offer on a bungalow in Livingston, to be told you can't, you need to do it through solicitor. I took advice phoned them back and said I've been told I can put verbal offer, woman huffed and said it's not how we do it, so you want me to put the offer to the vendor??? I said yes please, she huffed again! Our solicitor then phoned 10mins later to put formal offer in, to be told vendors on holiday so need to get hold of them! Next day the bungalow in Dovecote Place had UNDER OFFER ... We had NOT even been told, when my Solicitor phoned told it's under offer to someone else, the rude woman refused to give any other details, failed to follow legal rules about informing of other offers, and didnt return my call after!! Our first viewing we didn't even get a follow up call to see if we like it, their clearly taking a lot of money from people who've lost relatives as this was also part of an estate following a death. I've emailed to make a formal complaint, I'd be surprised if the vendor was even told of our offer, this company do nothing to earn the extortionate fees they charge, I'd never recommend them to anyone!!!

Quite different from my experience with other estate agents whom I have used in the past. 100% top class service
9th Jun 2019 (4 years ago)Do not trust this company. We dealt with the previous iteration of the owners company and are now being left to clean up their mess. We should have gotten rid of them sooner.... leaving this review in the hope that other landlords won’t have to deal with the loss of over £2000 in rental payments plus the stress of figuring out what to do with our tenant now... even with the loss of rent I still may have left a good review if Amanda and Craig has worked with us to help figure things out (or even provide the tenants details) but the only response to any communication that we have is to essentially gloat that their old company doesn’t exist and there is no recourse for us. Pretty poor behaviour for a human being never mind a business owner.

16th Nov 2023 (24 weeks ago)Had the misfortune of being recommended this firm and decided to use them to handle my divorce. Huge mistake. Mr Tait provided a thoroughly shocking service representing me. I won’t bore with specifics but some highlights are: Failed to turn up to court once and failed to be prepared a second time resulting in the sheriff awarding damages against me - which his firm absorbed as it was their fault. Or so they said, the final bill breakdown was so flimsy I suspect he just charged me extras elsewhere to cover this. Money (a huge amount) paid to him to be sent to another Falkirk firm took SIX WEEKS and many threats to finally be transferred. This should have taken less than 48 hours. Final bill double original estimate. His representation was so shoddy I looked at taking them to to Ombudsman, and a solicitor agreed I had a case but in the end decided it was too much stress. I wish I’d looked at google reviews first, the service was horrific and cost me a fortune as well as a lot of stress. They are slow, terrible communicators and the office practices are stuck in the past. Lesley Anderson Law was the solicitor for the other side and seemed to do a formidable job. But in all honesty I’d recommend the ambulance chasing lawyer from The Simpsons over Mr Tait.
24th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)What an amazing service from start to finish from both Jennifer, Andrew and Janice. For anyone who wants a simple, and efficient estate agent look no further. Our house went up on the market the week of Christmas when most estate agents close. Not Avenue Road. They made sure that everything still processed as normal and our house went up within days to ensure we were able to reserve our new home. The whole process was easy with them and made it very simple and straight forward for us. Andrew was always on hand for us regarding any viewings and interest. Jennifer was giving us regular updates and keeping us in the loop. One thing I would say which stands them out from the crowd is they are always on hand. For example we had a request at 10pm on a Saturday night for a viewing which we were delighted about. Within minutes we had it booked. You won’t get that 24/7 service anywhere else. At the very start we had a few estate agents come to negotiate with us but felt like a number with them and just another tick box. With Jennifer and Andrew we were a family looking to sell and move to our forever home and they wanted it for us. I could go on and on about how amazing they were and so grateful for them. I have recommended them to everyone I know and will continue to do so. Thank you again and always welcome for a cuppa in our new home.
