All the staff at Mighty House were fantastic from Karen who valued our property at the beginning to Alex who played a big part in pulling it all together to completion.

3rd Apr 2025 (10 weeks ago)Mattews Benjamin is a great company to deal with. Lauren was lovely and very understanding in what turned out to be a very long process, but we got there in the end. Andrea, who showed me around the property, I found to be very honest and informative. I would thoroughly recommend this company for buying a property from or selling a property with them.

Within a week or so we had an offer accepted and were able to finally find our new family home. All of the team were friendly, professional and approachable - response times were quick and updates provided when requested. Special mention to Sarah on the completion side - helping get a hectic finish over the line!
16th Nov 2022 (2 years ago)Farrell Heyworth have to be amongst the worst letting agents in the North-West. I have been forced to give them 1 star as it is impossible to leave them ‘zero’. They have habitually made mistakes in the management of my property, costing me hundreds of pounds over the 9 years they have ‘managed’ the property. I am finally rid of them, to discover they cannot locate the house keys. The employee who undertook the inventory failed to return the keys to the office and went on annual leave! They have failed to take final meter readings because they allege they cannot find the meters, despite mentioning the meters in the inventory report and taking them on many occasions in the past. There is absolutely nothing I can say that is positive about FH. Use anybody but them, if you need a letting agent!
26th May 2022 (3 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

4th Jun 2025 (8 days ago)I am absolutely disgusted with Bettermove!! They offered to buy my house for a fixed price, having deducted 20%! Which is what I told them I wanted a 'quick' sale. They offered of 2 options. Or, they said they could market it for a month AND actually LIED and stated they HAD investors INTERESTED in MY property!! Within a week I realised they had NO investors!! So, when the 'month' was up I asked if they would buy the house for the price they had stated instead. They said they would take a FURTHER 20% off AGAIN!!! Had they told me this would happen in the first place I would've just sold it to them!!! AND, in the process, they have DEVALUED the market value of my house!!! I think its absolutely disgusting that they seem to act without any conscience. They lie and are not up front with what the options really are. They have set my house selling back by possibly years now!! If there were an Ombundsman or official way to report them I would do so!

14th May 2025 (29 days ago)Possibly the most bizarre experience I've ever had with a lettings agent. I phoned to enquire about 2 properties to let and secured viewings for each on different days. The first viewing time rolls around and nobody shows up, I wait for half an hour after the viewing slot and try to call the office multiple times but was on hold for ages. I thought "fair enough, sometimes mistakes are made" and that I'd just call them in the morning to rearrange. I had my second viewing the next morning that went totally fine and subsequently managed to get hold of someone from the office. As soon as I'd begun to explain who I was and what the situation was they abruptly put the phone down on me mid sentence... Totally bizarre behaviour, it seemed like the woman on the phone realised who I was and just decided she couldn't be bothered dealing with me, especially considering I got no call back, no response to my emails or voicemails. I just wanted to view a flat so to be met with at best ignorance and at worst blatant unprofessional behaviour was a little bit jarring. I sincerely hope this is just a big misunderstanding and will edit my review if it's put right but until then. I'd say avoid unless you want to waste two days trying to book a viewing only to have the phone put down on you for no apparent reason. ????
