14th May 2023 (1 year ago)We had a first class experience selling the family home , my late Mother's property with Watsons. Although neither my brother nor myself are local, I could tell Mark was a man of integrity on our first meeting and knew Watsons would help us achieve the best price possible. Their whole process was handled professionally, and we are delighted with the service we received and of course the result. Many thanks!
14th Aug 2023 (1 year ago)The person who valued our house and did the sales pitch to us was great, but the person who actually dealt with our sale was terrible. She added no value to the whole process, never answered the phone or called us back, sent really unhelpful emails with no clear actions or asks in there and provided no effort to mediate our chain and keep all parties happy. It felt like she ended up working for our buyer rather than us who were her clients. She also seemed to shy away from difficult news and did everything over email rather than calling and helping to get people on side. I would not recommend. Our friends had a similar experience so this is not an isolated incident.

9th Dec 2024 (15 weeks ago)From the first meeting with halton kelly I was very impressed with Gabrielle she instilled confidence that she would do her very best to manage viewings & sell the property for the best price.Simon then called me all the time until it was sold subject to contract he helped me all the time with his advice on the best offer .Simon who is in charge makes it his mission to give above & beyond his job & it becomes his baby he shows a genuine care & compassion whatever your circumstances of selling .We must not forget to mention the lovely Dawn who answers all your questions & makes sure your sale goes smoothly & deals with every query .I would never hesitate to recommend halton kelly to anyone & we have moved many times but this was a sale to pay for my mums care home fees .
26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

28th Jun 2024 (8 mo. ago)Alex our valuer was great. Knowledgable, friendly, approachable. Poor rest of the service, not calling back when said would, misinforming us, confusing us with other clients, late response to emails and calls, not informing our buyer of changes immediately

31st Jul 2024 (7 mo. ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

This was important to me as these types of details are what can ultimately result in a sale. The service and speed of response has been fantastic from all the team.

18th Feb 2025 (4 weeks ago)I can't recommend Lauren at The Home Movement enough! From start to finish, she has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Her professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail are second to none, and she makes the entire process smooth, stress-free, and even enjoyable! She did such a good job on the photos I didn't recognise my own kitchen at first! She used her knowledge to help us get more viewings when we hit a bit of a slump in the market. Lauren is slightly more expensive but totally worth it, please do not let that put you off, it could be the difference between selling and not selling. She will be very honest with you and only ever give you her expert advice and never force any decisions on you. Lauren genuinely listens, offers expert guidance, and takes the time to understand your unique situation. She is incredibly supportive, responsive, and patient, making you feel completely at ease. Nothing is too much trouble for her, and she goes above and beyond to ensure the best possible outcome. I apologise for all the messages but am very thankful you always responded and never complained! If you're looking for someone who is not only highly skilled but also kind, honest, and truly invested in helping you, Lauren is the person to go to. The level of service she provides is exceptional, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Thank you, Lauren!

They are professional and friendly and nothing is too much trouble , they put me at ease from first contact . I was really impressed with the photographs and video that Jody made of the Property and I was kept updated throughout . I felt like I was in safe hands from start to finish and would highly recommend
18th Feb 2025 (4 weeks ago)New age review Me and my partner used New age in June 2024 as we liked there offer at the time which was sell your house for free. We did end up paying for professional photos and the house to go on Rightmove as we wanted to sell quickly before Christmas. Did have a issue with payment but did eventually get sorted. Soon as the house was on the market I had numerous phone calls from other local estate agents bad mouthing New Age Sales & lettings and telling me to go with them which was unprofessional from there part. We got a buyer a month later and from there Chris and the team have notified me and my partner about the next steps and if we needed any information we could even speak to Chris after his working hours which was great as I'm clueless on this stuff. We found our house with a different local estate agent and these have been shocking. Chris had to get involved with emailing this estate agents to get everything moved quickly as we was ment to move in September, we are now in January. (Finally moved in February 2025) I would recommend New age to anyone who wants to sell or rent as they just tell you as it is (not like other estate agents who lie just to get you on there books) and will definitely answer the phone to you if you need anything (again not like the other estate agent who ignore your call so you have to call with a withheld number ????) Thank you Chris hope your company will be around in years to come as we will be happy to use you again for my next house project ????
26th Feb 2025 (23 days ago)After our first year of living in our flat, the rent went up by a big chunk which wouldn’t seem a lot to others but £50 for one working person, one person who’s not working and looking after their child full time is too much. We expect it to go up again this year. Not going to be able to afford living here if they keep putting prices up. On top of that, why should they increase it when they don’t do anything? I’ve made a couple complaints before about things happening in our communal building and in our parking area and all they said they will do is put out a letter for all the residents including myself which they didn’t even do. False promises, don’t care about their tenants. A recent issues is someone smoking weed in their flat or communal hall right across from us. Already written a complaint and not heard anything back. Why do we have to live here and suffer and yet you get to take money off of us? Can’t afford to move right now because of how expensive the rent is and if you can’t find a place to live before your contract resets, you’re stuck for another year. There’s no way out of it. Edit: someone asked me to remove this but I said I’d edit it because at the time of this review nothing was being done and my feelings were valid. They are helping now with our current problem as much as they can do in their position. They say they can’t find my other emails on their system?
