What a refreshing change this team of Estate Agents are. These guys are amazingly passionate about what they do and genuinely care about the process of buying, selling and letting. In my experience, Estate Agents I have used in the past just want you to sign on the dotted line, put a board up and that's it! These guys are with you all the way with updates, setting expectations. I couldn't recommend them enough and cant thank them enough for the effort they put in for us.
We almost went with another firm as Cornerstone's presence in our area was quite new. I would strongly recommend that you choose Cornerstone. The team were great and James was fantastic. It's nice to do business with a passionate company who don't come with the sales spiel that a lot of estate agencies do. They made the process painless. I wish we had bought our next house through Cornerstone!
The lettings team made becoming a landlord very smooth for me! They’re trained to know all new legislation so made me feel at ease and very knowledgable over renting my first home! They also got £100 higher RENT for the area!!!! Excellent work
At the first place, it was easy process to sign the contract and pay three months rent in advance, as well as the deposit which was 675 £. I view the property while the previous occupiers were leaving the flat was not look like the advertised photos online. It was not clean and very messy, so, I had a word with the WHB they promised they will clean everything very well before I receive the keys. This is why signed my contact with them. However, the house was very dirty with a lot of stuff left by the previous people. I spent 4 days paying rent for two accommodations as the WHB house needed to be cleaned. I have stayed in this property for 8 months and i was using plug-in heaters because nobody told me that the house has central blown heaters as the owner told me after I left the property. This cost me extra money!
My contact says I must leave 30 days notice if I want to leave the property. However, I request 50 days notice and I was enforced to pay that to get my deposit. Also, they took two months to return my deposit which is not the full amount that I have paid.

I've used David Moore's for 4 years now and they've been excellent in both sourcing quality tenants and ensuring the properties are well looked after. I would recommend them to any one considering using a reliable property management team.
I have never experienced such rudeness and unwillingness to work with a person in my life than I have when I attempted to work with Moores Estate. I originally was paired with a woman named Frances. She set up viewings for a friend of mine on my behalf, not once but twice. Then when I tried to follow up about the properties I was given to another woman named Angie who informed me that it was against their company policies to have someone do a viewing on my behalf. Because I'm an international masters student I was told I needed a U.K based guarantor. I provided that for the first property I was interested in. When that property fell through I submitted an application for a second property only to be told that they destroyed my original guarantor paperwork. When I asked why the paperwork was thrown away I was never given a straight answer and it was told it was a 'learning experience'. Trust me, I have learned. I will never work with this company again. If you're international, a student, or really anyone that wants good customer service go somewhere else. They don't care about you or your needs.
**Edit–This is after Moore's reply: I did provide personal information about my guarantor and never said they could 'buy half of London'. Again just furthering my point of their bad customer service. They would rather belittle me than take personal responsibility for their rudeness. I was never told that my application was 'incomplete' after the first application and then I was basically ignored after the second. If it was incomplete I would have been happy to provide whatever necessary paperwork was needed. My guarantor did provide the paperwork. When I asked why my guarantor information was destroyed they had no explanation and said 'It was a learning experience for them'. I hope others have a better experience with this company that boasts to be 5 stars on google review and then blatantly tries to discredit a young woman with a legitimate review of their customer service. My 1 star still stands.

Absolutely dishonest and scummy company. I advise you to read some of the other negative reviews. And don't believe all the positive reviews, I've never seen such strangely worded positive reviews before (really study all the positive reviews yourself and you'll see what I mean).
When we moved out they lied to us about there being no problems with the state we were leaving it in, but then they charged us a crazy amount for professional cleaning. Then when you complain they keep pawning you off to one another and each of them say different stuff. At times its hard to say whether their staff are plain rude over the phone, or just genuinely that incompetent. The agents we dealt with are all relatively young, so probably their agents just are a bit stupid.
They let people into our apartment to show them around without telling us.
They try and steal money from you whenever they can, so really read through all your contracts that you sign with them and get everything in writing. If it's agreed in person by one person, don't accept that. Get it in writing.
The warning signs were there when we first wanted to rent and were viewing with them. The different people working there literally said completely conflicting information from one another on the phone, they lied to our faces about things when we viewed and then changed it later, and they promised to send us something or look something up for us and get back to us, and then never did.
We decided to rent with them because they have nice apartments that aren't available with other agents. But don't let that cloud your judgement. In hindsight we should have gone with a much better estate agent. It's not worth it.
I've been using Dwell since they started up. They have been great at finding me good new tenants quickly and for a reasonable fee. Highly recommended
Want to come in your house and video tape everything every few months. Invasive to say the least. Then they make stuff up about you and file it in reports to the landlord.
Worst experience I've had in 10 years of renting in leeds, can't express how much you should avoid this company.

They are now evicting me because I've finally put my foot down and said no more inspections. There's only 2 months of the tenancy left but these guys are so petty they feel the need to file for eviction even though I've already told them I'm leaving when the term is up.
I knew something was sketchy when I found their "office" is actually a dodgy little back room in an office complex. These guys rent property? Yet they can't afford their own? ????????
Shambles of an agency. Avoid at all costs.
