From the initial viewing right up to completion, the team was very supportive and communicative. Whenever we had a query it was answered straight away, making engagement with the seller seamless and straightforward. We could not have hoped for a better experience and truly cannot recommended Cornerstone enough. Thank you so much for an excellent service.

21st Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Honestly avoid this branch. We moved into our place a month ago with venerable and the management has been shocking. Even you log an urgent issue you just get completely ignored .The contractor they given endless excuses about being away or having accidents and don’t show up on the time he promise . They literally do not care about you at all once you sign the contract and move in. Zero communication and terrible customer service.
23rd May 2026 (18 weeks ago)Wish you could choose your own star rating, we don't think 5 is enough. As soon as Andy came to do our sale valuation we knew we were using KW. Everything is 'discussed' with you, you are never talked down to like the other valuers we asked. We bought and sold with KW, and with one thing after another going wrong this hasn't been the easiest job they've ever done, but Andy and Caz always had a smile on their faces and an encouraging word. We cannot thank them enough for everything they have done. Very very highly recommended.

16th Sep 2026 (11 days ago)I had a really positive experience dealing with Haus Headingley/Leeds, particularly Jess. She was helpful, understanding and professional throughout the whole process, and communication was always straightforward. Although I ultimately decided not to proceed with the property due to my own circumstances, that had nothing to do with the service I received. Jess was very accommodating and made the process much easier for me. I would definitely be happy to contact Haus again in the future when looking for a property. Thank you again, Jess, for all your help.

20th Jun 2026 (14 weeks ago)Our house sold to the first viewers within the first week of being marketed so we've only had limited contact with the Estate agents so far but everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful. They had great knowledge of the house and the area and were able to provide the buyers with lots of useful information about the house when they came for the viewing. They've been very responsive in getting things moving quickly. Very pleased with the service we've received so far.

He showed me around the property, explained everything clearly, and answered all my questions.<br>Robert was really helpful and made the whole viewing feel relaxed and straightforward. I really appreciated how approachable he was and how he took the time to make sure I had all the information I needed. I’d definitely recommend Robert to anyone looking for a friendly and professional estate agent.

The whole team were excellent throughout and always gave us confidence that our property would sell. Their knowledge of the local market was clear from day one, and the marketing photos and floor plan looked brilliant. Communication was always prompt, and they kept us fully informed after every viewing. A special mention must go to Emma Ellis, who was incredibly informative, helpful and proactive throughout the process. I would give Emma 10/10 for her support and for helping to drive the sale through to completion. Excellent service from start to finish — we would highly recommend Hunters Estate Agents!

15th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Overpromised, Underperformed and Untrustworthy – My Costly Mistake with HSD I initially listed my property with PurpleBricks in March 2025 for £535,000. After limited viewings over a three-month period, I began exploring other options and submitted an enquiry to WeBuyAnyHouse. They quickly came back with an offer of £460,000—roughly 14% below asking—claiming it would allow for a quick sale. I immediately declined, as I was not in a rush and didn’t want to take such a significant loss. Shortly after, my details were apparently passed on to House Sales Direct (HSD), seemingly a sister company, without my explicit consent. HSD came across as professional and engaging at first. They promised a 98% success rate in selling properties within 28 days, citing a strong network of pre-approved buyers and investors who could complete within 6–8 weeks. They suggested a sale price spread of £510k–£535k, assuring me they would work to get me the best price possible. It sounded promising. Based on these assurances, I decided to proceed with HSD. I withdrew my PurpleBricks listing—costing me £300—with the understanding that HSD’s investor network would accelerate the sale. But things quickly began to unravel. Despite supposedly having investors lined up, HSD said they needed to relist my property on Rightmove first. When I questioned why investors couldn’t simply view the home, the response was vague. It took nearly two weeks for them to relist, and the new asking price was £525,000. A full week passed without any communication. Then came a call recommending the price be dropped to £499,000. I was told this was “just a marketing tactic,” and that they still aimed to get me a sale within the original £510k–£535k range. But I struggled to understand how listing a property nearly £40,000 lower would achieve that. I asked again about the investors. They finally admitted the only offer received was the same £460k I'd declined weeks earlier through WeBuyAnyHouse. This was when the red flags really began to show. Why wasn’t I told this upfront? Why present an optimistic price range if their investor offer was fixed at £460k from the beginning? Why was I encouraged to pull the property from PurpleBricks if they intended to rely on the open market anyway? I could have just reduced the price there and avoided unnecessary costs and delays. Doing more research online, I found stories from others with eerily similar experiences. It appeared HSD’s real model was to attract sellers with high expectations and then drop the price, relying on open-market tactics to force a quick sale. Despite claiming not to charge commission, they would never clearly explain how they made their money. It seems they may be negotiating higher prices with buyers while offering sellers less—profiting off the gap. No transparency, no trust. Meanwhile, they knew I was paying a high mortgage on an empty property. It became clear they were hoping I’d become desperate enough to accept the same low £460k offer I had already rejected twice. In the four weeks my property was listed with them, only four viewings were arranged. Two were no-shows. Of the remaining two, one viewer stayed for just five minutes—asked no questions and didn’t even view all the rooms. It felt performative, not serious. As expected, neither viewer submitted an offer, despite supposedly being “pre-qualified and keen.” Eventually, I told HSD I wanted to withdraw the property. That’s when I was informed—shockingly—that I had unknowingly signed up for a 52-week contract, and I’d need to pay £1,500 to exit, or £999 if paid within 7 days. I wrote to them, acknowledged that they had done some work, and offered a reasonable £699 exit fee, explaining I needed to rent the home out due to financial strain. They refused and insisted on full payment. I paid the £999 immediately—but it still took a full week and several chasers before they finally removed the property from Rightmove. By the end of the ordeal, it was clear I was no longer a priority for them. In summary: Do I regret choosing HSD? Absolutely. Would I recommend them to someone looking for a fair, transparent, and professional house sale experience? No. If your only goal is to sell quickly and you don’t care about value, they might work for you. But if you want to sell your home at a decent price with a partner you can trust, I strongly advise staying away from HSD.

23rd Sep 2026 (4 days ago)Our experience with Linley & Simpson has been genuinely horrendous. We were left living with severe damp and mould for weeks, alongside a flea infestation despite having no pets. I have severe asthma and became so unwell in the property that I had to be blue-lighted to resus several times fighting for my life. Yet despite repeatedly contacting Linley & Simpson, we were ignored, belittled and left chasing for updates. I’m actually putting my medical records on here as proof, that’s how serious this has got.<br><br>Repairs took an unacceptable amount of time, leaving us without a usable kitchen and forcing us to pay for alternative accommodation ourselves. At no point did we feel that the seriousness of the situation was being taken remotely seriously.<br>We are young tenants, not nuisances. Having a safe, habitable home should be the absolute bare minimum. The lack of communication, urgency and basic consideration throughout this situation has been appalling. I would seriously think twice before renting through Linley & Simpson.

We also quickly resold the property when we lost our initial buyer. From that point, Lauren was communicative and present right until the day we moved (and beyond). She was fundamental at passing information and keeping things moving - often informing us of progress and changes before our solicitors did, coordinating between the chain, and generally ensuring a swift exchange and completion could happen. I would highly recommend Lauren and The Home Movement.
