Highly recommended for tenants or landlords
My personal experience with David Moores began when my landlord decided to retire, but wanted to continue to benefit from the income and develop the business under a full service agency. After 5 years renting privately I was at first a little sceptical about how this might affect my tenancy, I thought my rent might go up, but this did not appear to be the case, and if anything my renting experience improved as the team at Moores always pull together to deal with maintenance/queries working 6 days a week, and there was always an out of hours contact for an emergency.
The management of the property and grounds was monitored with quarterly inspections, and whilst this initially took time to get used to, it does encourage you to keep on top of house work and keep it in good condition, and after 12 years renting (7 under Moores) I received my full deposit and the tenancy was ended on a positive note. More recently, Moores have implemented a new maintenance system, this allows you to log and manage repairs 24/7; each query is given a priority rating and dealt with as efficiently as possible; and I know from personal experience contractors often make the effort to come out at Xmas and in adverse weather conditions. Over the course of my tenancy I have had to report a variety of maintenance issues from fire alarms going off to noisy and unruly tenants, and they have always been professional in their manner and courteous in there response; and having also had some more uncommon personal issues arise, they have also tried there best to support me, even going beyond the call of duty, as certain things definately weren't in the job description.
Whether you are a tenant looking for somewhere new to rent, or a landlord looking to simplify your workload or develop your portfolio, then I would highly recommend David Moores. There is a family feel to the business, and you know you will get more of a personal touch, as well as the professionalism and reliability you can expect from an established full service agency.

I rented a property through Moores last year. I’m am disgusted by the treatment from their staff.
A lady called Hayley signed me up and was more bothered about getting my money from between my hands than any concerns I had. What a rude obnoxious lady.
I got to the house and it was a state. Hayley had even said cleaners had been in and it was ready to moved straight in. (Well I would hate to see her house).
I called up and ask for my money back and said I don’t want to move in. She told me too late you signed the contract and you will not be getting your fee back. I felt totally cheated. It took me over a month to get the house cleaned and ready before my family could move in with no help from the agents or the landlords.
While living there many things broke and was an absolute chore to get the agents to send out a workman.
Glad I’ve bought a house now and my kids are very happy to be away from that den made worse by the agents
If Hayley worked in my company she would have been asked to leave for her treatment of customers.
Do not rent with these agents.
