10th Jul 2024 (6 mo. ago)Doesn’t know the facts about the houses they’re selling. Lost money finding out a house we had an offer accepted on is under possessory title and on a private road. Two things we didn’t want and questions we asked at the viewing Topped off by driving past one day noticing new scaffolding on the house. Following a phone call to the estate agents asking what’s going on, they lied and told us the house owners are just putting cladding up as decoration. Turns out after visiting the homeowners to find out the truth, they had a huge leak in the gable wall and were putting cladding over the brick wall, effectively like a plaster. Overall a bad experience with Mallard.
23rd Dec 2024 (29 days ago)Not very good at all I regret to say. A catalogue of failures that repeated over and over despite repeated apologies and assurances. The final straw being an arranged viewing for 21st Dec that never ever existed. This is just the latest in a series of failures on John Francis' part to fulfil their contractual obligations to effectively promote and sell the property. Including but not limited to:- 1. Delays in putting the property on the market and erecting sign board (they'd ran out of signs!!!). 2. Not answering the phone or responding to messages left. 3. Not responding to e mails in a timely manner. 4. Not passing on details of offers made (a verbal offer not followed up in writing). 5. Not forwarding feedback after viewings. 6. Cancelling viewings due to staff availability issues (totally unacceptable). 7. Removing one of the joint vendors from the contacts list (nobody could account for who, why or when this happened).
23rd Aug 2024 (22 weeks ago)Got promised a house all the way till I went to sign the dotted line and they realised I was disabled and my partner wasn't Welsh. They discriminate against race and disabled people. Every single house I've applied for even the new listing they say there all let. To stop a disabled or nor non Welsh person renting

8th Nov 2024 (11 weeks ago)Horrible service from Brendan didn’t return a single call or email for a week then told me all shops I was interested in have been let out. I then got a friend to call on a different number and they were all available. He then told me to pay for the application and I can have but at this point I lost all trust. I decided to speak to neighbours of the shop and contact the landlord direct which saved me £2000 in fees with royal estates. I would advise to use this company for the location then contact landlords privately to do the deal. Thank me later.

13th Nov 2024 (10 weeks ago)Purchasing my first home through No.86 was a fantastic experience, thanks to Meg and her team. They consistently kept me updated throughout the process and were instrumental in addressing delays caused by my solicitors. Their proactive approach in expediting the sale was invaluable, especially given the challenges I faced with my solicitors. Impressively, they notified me about the completion and key collection even before my solicitor did! Additionally, they were accommodating with meeting arrangements and allowed me to visit the property for measurements before moving in. I was delighted to receive a welcome card and a gift bag with my key as a thoughtful gesture upon completion. I highly recommend them to both sellers and buyers. Their proactive approach in ensuring the sale went through smoothly was incredibly reassuring for me as a buyer, as well as for the seller who was equally eager to complete.
21st Aug 2024 (22 weeks ago)Extremely quick response. I needed to sell quickly. They came out to do the valuation at 9am (on time). Took the photos, house was online by 5pm. Reasonably valued I had a full asking price within a few days. Very knowledgeable of the area, the demand. Very compliant with specific requests. Excellent customer service - especially Alex who I drove mad. Thank you!

2nd Sep 2024 (20 weeks ago)This is the first time we have used Moving You after Andy and his team were recommended to us by our daughter who had used him in the past. I have to say that from start to finish the service we had was brilliant. Andy carried out the initial valuation whilst Nicola took the images ready for marketing. Both then carried out viewings on our behalf. Andy's marketing is great - across all the usual platforms and all over social media. Unlike many Estate Agents he was able to offer appointments at weekends as well as during the week and Nicola was a brilliant person to have accompanying viewers. We sold in just a month, in a challenging market, at just over the asking price and from then on the process was smooth and efficient. Andy's online portal was a great help and he was only ever a phone call away if we needed to discuss anything with him. We have bought and sold a number of houses over the last 20 years and while our other estate agents were great, I really feel that Andy was worth all the commission he and Nicola earned. I won't hesitate to recommend his agency to anyone who may need it. Thanks Guys
31st Jul 2024 (25 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
