20th Aug 2024 (27 days ago)I had to leave one star as that is the minimum, but it should be zero. Jonathan showed us around a house we loved the house, had some discussions about the house and price and put a offer in, heard nothing and had to chase, in the end we tracked one of the estate vendor for a farm in Garnant, we were told the advert was wrong that the property was being sold with 1.8 acres rather than the 3.5 or 8 acres on the advert, mentioned to the estate agent jonathan and he didnt seem to care his advert was in correct. Told the vendors about our offer which was later rejected by Jonathan, we put a further offer in, again heard nothing for a long time, tried to phone Jonathan to find out he just forwarded our numbers to his mail box, spoke to the one of the estate vendors about our procedeable position and put offer within 4% bearing in mind the property needed extensive work and had been on the market for more than 2 years and heard nothing back, tried to contact by email, message, phone and nothing. We felt as if it was because I was from South Wales and not from West Wales our offer wasn't even considered or put through to the owners if the house. If you are thinking about buying a property from Jonathan as its only him there I would completely avoid as he won't get back to you and will be a terrible service, I can't believe anyone would want to sell with him, speaking to other estate agents they have heard all kinds of horror stories. Avoid avoid avoid.
30th Jun 2024 (11 weeks ago)JJ Morris staff were keen to value my property and enthusiastic about its potential. They saw opportunities that other estate agents did not identify or focus on and achieved a faster sale and better overall outcome as a result. The market appraisal and sales measurement and photography visits were smooth and efficient. I felt confident that JJ Morris knew what they were doing and how they were going to approach the sale process. The photography and virtual tour gave a very fair and honest view of the property and I am extremely happy with the service provided by JJ Morris.
27th Sep 2023 (11 mo. ago)Their terms are very unclear and charge you regardless of whether they sell your property or not! Terrible service, they didn’t “actively market” the property which resulted in a minimal amount of views for a very fairly priced property. I highly recommend to avoid this business at all costs!

21st Aug 2024 (26 days ago)From seller's point of view, Alex's valuation was accurate and realistic, and his knowledge of the local market exemplary. Ellie was excellent, super-efficient with frequent updates and always contactable. Communication declined later in the process when another employee took over the file. However, out of all the estate agents I have dealt with over the years in Pembrokeshire, I would recommend Brett as ethical, expert and the definitely the best choice.

During the months long process of searching for a suitable new home, I dealt with a number of Estate Agents and whilst they ranged in quality from absolutely terrible to fairly good, none came close to the professional, personally tailored, and very friendly service i received from Ian at West Wales Properties Carmarthen.He provided an impeccable level of customer service that I didn’t see anywhere else during this process. Everyone is aware that purchasing a house can be a very stressful process but Ian genuinely made this process stress free and easy. I had complete peace of mind all the way through and only wish I had come to west wales properties first, at the at the start of my search.Then I could have avoided the many other, less than professional and at times frustrating agents I came across before finding Ian. Thank you for all your help Ian. You and your branch of West Wales Properties were absolutely outstanding in all areas.
16th Aug 2024 (4 weeks ago)Lara has been an absolute pleasure to work with. We are purchasing a property through West Wales and from day one Lara has kept us fully up to date. Our own Estate Agents and Solicitors never updated us and didn't really seem to have a clue what was going on but Lara has been ringing around people constantly chasing things up and also helping to calm me down when it all got too much for me! As much as I'm glad the whole process is coming to an end I'll miss chatting with Lara as she really is such a lovely lady and knows how to make you feel better. Lara has gone way above her job role to help us out and I'll be forever grateful for the help and support she has given to us. I highly recommend West Wales and if we ever were to move house again they would be the first place I would go to. Thank you so much Lara. They were quick to respond to any queries and to give feedback from viewings. We would definitely recommend.
18th Mar 2024 (5 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
31st Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could
