Becky guided us with so much clarity and patience, and the whole team were consistently supportive, responsive and professional. Even during the more stressful moments, everything was explained clearly and handled smoothly, which made a huge difference. We always felt looked-after and in safe hands. Highly recommend Ralph Sayer if you want a team who are thorough, approachable and genuinely care about their clients.

Kept up to date about sale of my property from Kenny and Katie Brydon was fantastic with the buying of my new property. She explained every step of the process. Would highly recommend Blackwood & Smith to friends.

Going forward with the house sale, Robert couldn't have been better, keeping me updated throughout the whole process, it was outstanding service and second to none. Thanks to the experience I received from Drummond Miller through Robert, I intend to use them again very soon when I sell my parents' house. Highly recommend without reservation

27th Feb 2024 (1 year ago)Our overall experience was totally unsatisfactory. We never received a single enquiry, phone call or any other contact of any kind. We therefore instructed Taits to take our house of the market as we were totally disalusioned with the entire situation, especially as our offer for the house we fancied was accepted on condition that we recieved offers for ours. We have therefore advised Taits of our dissatisfaction and we have now decided to stay put. As they say in live, you live and learn. ??????

13th Nov 2025 (26 days ago)The Melrose office hit the mark… the team has excellent knowledge of the local market and the process is efficient. The photos and videos were excellent and they knew how to capture the house at its best. Received over asking offer within 10 days and the handover to the Solicitor’s office was seamless. I chose Rettie’s due to their large database of clients giving them deep and broad reach within the UK market. This is clearly a competitive advantage that I valued. Hugh, Fraser and Nicola are a young and energetic team and are truly a joy to work with. Highly recommend them.
23rd Sep 2025 (11 weeks ago)If you’re looking for an estate agent that is proactive and communicates well, I would strongly recommend avoiding Edwin Thompson Galashiels. I sold a commercial property through them, and it was by far the worst experience I’ve had with an agent. From the very beginning, communication was poor, and it never improved throughout the process. I later discovered that the buyer’s experience was just as frustrating as mine, which speaks volumes about how this office is run. Unfortunately, the company’s reputation is being badly let down by an agent on their team.

18th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)If you would like your property grossly under valued with a poor sale's team. Or even a valuation that isn't worth the paper it's written on. I highly recommend using DM hall. Disastrous experience in both selling and valuing 2 seperate property's.
