8th Feb 2026 (23 days ago)Terrible experience purchasing a house through this company. The Woman we dealt with who we believe is possibly a partner repeatedly didn’t find answers to our questions, it seemed as if it were a constant battle throughout, she also came across false and over the top. As far as the owner of the company goes one meeting was enough for us. Occasionally we spoke with other employees who were always friendly and efficient, shame the same can’t be said for management.
20th Nov 2025 (15 weeks ago)We are still mid missives, moving towards exchange of contract day, but so far, it's all been good. I was selling on behalf of my brother with dementia, but they were very understanding and helpful. Advertising etc was good - it was not an easy property to sell, but they did it. All communications have been clear and good. I only did 4 stars for value for money as we are yet to see what the final costs will be. Nonetheless, as I live far away, it was important to have someone deal with everything, swiftly, simply and with clarity.

11th Feb 2026 (20 days ago)I used Bannerman Burke Properties LTD in late 2025, The property went live on all the online platforms on a Wednesday, They arranged 5 viewings on the Thursday and Friday - and i received two really good offers the following Monday. The online portal is up-to-date and kept me informed of the progress from start to finish. Lisa and Tony are a great team, and would recommend them to everyone.
22nd Jan 2026 (6 weeks ago)Didn't feel the advert was informative of selling points. Seems very generic amd nothing personal. Also photos did not do property justice. But in a small area he knows what he doing and yes I would recommend him as he just seemed like a friend.

23rd Sep 2025 (23 weeks ago)If you’re looking for an estate agent that is proactive and communicates well, I would strongly recommend avoiding Edwin Thompson Galashiels. I sold a commercial property through them, and it was by far the worst experience I’ve had with an agent. From the very beginning, communication was poor, and it never improved throughout the process. I later discovered that the buyer’s experience was just as frustrating as mine, which speaks volumes about how this office is run. Unfortunately, the company’s reputation is being badly let down by an agent on their team.

3rd Dec 2025 (13 weeks ago)Jemma was amazing from the beginning of viewing to the end of my contract with them. Soft spoken and responds to emails promptly. The house was clean, neighbourhood is calm annd peaceful. It was amazing dealing with acorn letting and sales and the landlord as well. Prompt response to issues mostly regarding repairs. Highly recommended

18th Dec 2025 (11 weeks ago)Jane Riddell did our conveyancing for our Glasgow flat and was absolutely brilliant! Could not recommend enough, we were informed of any updates very quickly and all of our concerns and queries were handled efficiently and with care. Jane made the whole process for us as first time buyers extremely smooth and we had our keys in 6 weeks! Thanks again Jane :)
