17th Jun 2024 (6 weeks ago)We recently bought a bungalow from Tracey Phillips Estate Agents.They were a thoroughly nice,professional group of ladies.Nothing was too much trouble,they always rang back when they promised. They let us view the property a second time,and we had another appointment to measure up.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone thinking of buying/selling a property.

2nd Jul 2024 (25 days ago)Rent price increased by 25 a month, when asked about the reasons for the increase only given lies, when challenged on this it was completely dismissed and not even replied to. Dealing with damp and mould a year and a quarter on. Friendly staff in the office when you call.

Positive outlook, professional & can do attitude, even when sold Toni’s post care was better than my solicitor & took care of everything. If you’re nervous about selling this team kept me updated on WhatsApp & negotiated the price & I think the stunning videos are a huge help.

31st May 2024 (8 weeks ago)I’ve been trying to call for 3 days now, I’ve also emailed and messaged them on Rightmove with no answer. Terrible first impression. It’s a real shame as we're ready to buy and they’ve got some great houses in Newton Le Willows.

Called them to clarify some aspects regarding a property I've been interested in, they were not able to answer my questions, an agent said something, another agent something completely different, I made an higher offer and I've been told they can't find my details, then they canceled my second viewing saying that the vendor accepted an offer. Im sure they didn't forward my offer to the vendor.

14th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)We were about 5 minutes late for a viewing because of the traffic when I managed to reach them on phone. I apologised and said we'd be there soon. They said the agent only waits 10 minutes, so they have to speak to him. After another 5 minutes they called me back and said the agent already left for another viewing. My wife was literally next to the house but as no-one was there,it was dark already and she didn't know which house it is without any lights. I told them it took us around 1.5 hours to get there with our 1yo baby and I don't think this is fair. We'd been still in the property even if we were on time. The agent finally came back and showed the house. He said he already changed his shoes as he was wearing a flip-flop because he went went home.

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The amount of times he went out his way to support us, offer advice or even just provide a a friendly face when things were getting stressful was incredible. I'd use Jon and his company again in a heartbeat, I'd recommend them to my friends and family, and I'd always buy him a pint down at the pub.
