18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

16th Dec 2025 (5 weeks ago)Helen and Carol were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were the sellers’ estate agents, and we were honestly jealous they weren’t ours. They went above and beyond so many times, nothing was ever too much trouble. Our purchase was complicated, but they never made it feel like a problem. They chased the chain constantly and kept everything moving. We genuinely don’t think we could have got through it without them. Communication was always clear, friendly and reassuring, and you could tell how well they all work together. Amy was also lovely and a real pleasure to deal with. Such a brilliant team at Miller Metcalfe. We can’t recommend them enough. We wish you all the best!

I love the walkthrough option they have on their adverts as buyers can visualise the space better than just looking at photos. 20th Oct 2025 (13 weeks ago)I mostly dealt with Darren, who was very clear and informative throughout the process, especially when it came to what needs to be done and the best price to list at. The agents personally accompanied potential buyers to every viewing — whether during the day, evening, and weekends — which was far more than most other agencies would do. I was always kept informed on feedback from viewings. Any questions I had were quickly answered via phone, WhatsApp, or email. Overall, it was a great experience working with the team and I would definitely recommend them.
