Will be looking elsewhere now sorry to say. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience to say the least ????

16th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)This is not the first time we have used Blenkin&co. We encountered them when buying a house a few years ago and were impressed at their fairness in handling the buyer/seller balance. Hence tje decision to use them when selling. This last transaction fell at a difficult time and had some complications but they showed patience, persistence, courtesy and even humour. In brief, we trust them.
25th Jun 2024 (17 weeks ago)We purchased a property through Robin Jessop - Bedale. They were good through the viewing and offer process but once the Memorandum of Sale had been sent out, we did not hear from them again, even on the day of completion. We were left to liaise with the vendors direct or through solicitors on all matters appertaining to the sale. It is a service like this that gives estate agents a bad name and I am a retired estate agent!

James was very professional, prompt and always kept us in the loop with regards to the progress. 3rd Apr 2024 (6 mo. ago)Awful! When looking to rent a property you would think they would show all interest in assisting you. Sadly not, viewed a property two months ago, showed my interest. Chased 4 times via telephone in an update if the kitchen was fitted to have another view (as it wasn’t previously) to be told someone’s already now leasing it through them. Poor communication, attitude stinks, was told “well we are a busy branch” when I asked how they hadn’t informed me in 2 months as they stated they would in an email. Made to feel like an ignorance for having an interest in a property that we viewed. Which by the way had no kitchen in it whatsoever and wasn’t even warned on the pre viewing. Hence waiting 2 months for it to get fitted to view again. Absolutely awful - abrupt, rude and wouldn’t use

6th Apr 2024 (6 mo. ago)Poor service from Karen, had an offer accepted with a seller and she put the house back on the market cause I was on holiday and I only spoke to her once in the week, in which I explained I was on holiday and would move forward when I returned. Will not be dealing with this estate agent again. Waste of time and effort.

Additionally, there was not one cocksure young individual in a skinny fit, shiny suit. Excellent service and a genuine pleasure to deal with. Thank you to Nick and all the team for their help and patience.

They were always quickly available, and dealt with everything as professionally and smoothly as possible. I cannot recommend them enough. Outstanding.

Communication was excellent throughout the process and all our questions received a friendly and prompt response. Would highly recommend.

8th Mar 2022 (2 years ago)Friendly knowledgeable and honest! Fast & efficient service from day one, Great pictures and brochures. Returns calls very quickly if not available when you phone. Nothing is too much trouble, We have sold many houses and Mark and his son Jacob are by far the best.
5th Oct 2024 (18 days ago)Honestly a great team you just have to be on top of them. only issue we had which was major was the first two sales went through. obviously stressful and part of it was maybe pushing only to have x amount of viewings when it first went on market. I think the viewers weren’t really vetted well enough initially.

9th Oct 2024 (14 days ago)Ben in the Easingwold office was absolutely fantastic. As a first time buyer it's safe to say I was nervous going into my first property purchase. Nothing was too much trouble for Ben- he was very responsive and always got back to me with clear and up to date information. Very grateful to Ben & the team at Hunters for helping me get into my first home! Could not recommend these guys highly enough!

(22 reviews)9th Dec 2023 (10 mo. ago)AVOID! If I could give zero stars I would. Please read the other 1star reviews. All accurate. Unless of course you enjoy paying someone £ks for doing nothing. Mark does literally the bare minimum to get paid i.e. list your property on right move and maybe email his database. I had to do all the viewings myself (despite asking prior and Williamsons saying they would do them), and chase for feedback. He went on holiday towards the start of our listing with them without telling us. They came to put the for sale sign up and put it facing IN to the garden. We turned it around ourselves. There was very little communication. He will blame the fact that my phone apparently didn't have a ring tone (although it rang and I always answered or called back) despite it being fine for everyone else. And despite it being the 21 century where things like text/WhatsApp/email etc exist. We didn't hear from him again after we accepted an offer, after 3 months I got in touch with them and asked if they could chase things and then it was Lynne who responded. We have still not heard a thing from Mark since. The only saving grace for this agent is Lynne in the office. Lovely and friendly and always willing to help but that was hugely overshadowed by the arrogance and neglect of Mark Williamson himself.
