His local knowledge and rapport with potential buyers had a positive impact on finding a serious buyer and the whole team have been most helpful chasing and updating me on the progress of the transaction.

12th Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)Used them before but never again. Misleading and unclear terms and then very unhelpful when you discuss anything with them. Steer well clear.
25th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)Confident but not arrogant agent. Good knowledge of the area and was able to until confidence in me that she will do all she can to sell the property. Once on the market she arranged viewings very quickly, making me feel confident she is pushing my house to buyers and making it noticed. She provided good advice and guidance about offers leading to an asking price within and a bit above my expectations. She is proactive in the process of the sale now and I feel confident in her driving the sale to completion. Only draw back is the fee which is higher than all other agencies.

27th Aug 2021 (5 years ago)Gail and Danielle at Cornwall Estates are a breath of fresh air in the real estate business I feel. They have both been a tower of strength to me and my family during what can be a stressful life event. They have acted efficiently and impeccably right from the start and never too busy to answer or explain the slightest query. I felt very relaxed with them, they always made the buyer viewings at my convenience and I felt very happy to have them show people round my home, even in my absence. These two ladies I would describe as iron fists in velvet gloves - they are sincere, very pleasant and friendly at all times but at the same time very focused and highly professional at all times . I can't recommend them highly enough.

Great in the beginning when we were paying our rent on time. but then when we moved the pettiness of the final inspection of the property was Absolutely ridiculous, down to cobwebs in the garage, light bulbs not working, left a coat hangers in a cupboard, left a glass in the kitchen cupboard, I believe they Are trying to keep our deposit. I would not recommend them to anyone.

They dropped prices over a few weekends and gave the impression there was a problem but, the fact we sold it privately within days of making it available elsewhere only goes to show their lack of scruples.
31st Aug 2026 (14 days ago)We engaged Martin Durber for the sale of our house and it was such a pleasure to deal with an estate agent that actually listens to the home owner as to what they want from the sale , Martin did what he said and sold our home on the first viewing , it's the total professional way he presents your home quality photos and videos and a honest description of the house, while the sale is proceeding you here very little from Tamar estates seemed a bit worrying at first after previous dealings with estate agents but as Martin said he's done his job selling it it's now the conveyancing side turn to do there job, if I need an estate agent again then yes I would use Martin at Tamar estates again it's a shame he's not nationwide as I've moved to the other side of the country now. Thank you Tamar estates for the best selling experience I've had and there's been a few house sales over the years
