19th Aug 2024 (2 years ago)I can’t say enough good things about Holmes Nalden! From start to finish, they demonstrated nothing but professionalism and attentiveness to all our needs. Thanks to Jackie and the entire team, we found our forever home without any stress. The entire process took just six weeks, from our initial viewing to completion, which was incredible! Whenever we needed assistance, whether it was accessing the house before the exchange or addressing any concerns, there was always someone available to help. Jackie was an absolute delight to work with; she was always helpful and went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Their customer service is truly exceptional! Highly recommend!
4th Apr 2024 (2 years ago)Just drove 30 miles through traffic to get to meet them as arranged for 5 30 ,my wife drove not quiet as far around 22 miles got there bang on time to meet my wife at the property waited till 5 55 got a text off Lydia to see if I'm still attending the viewing I texted back to say I've been hear since 5 30 as you arranged don't no were to park my wife as had a argument with a resident as we was in her parking space (not a great start ) but there was no one to meet us there to tell us anything anyway it got to just after six and I tried the buzzer on 31 the loom and the guy there was renting and said no one had rang him to arrange a viewing and the place was a bit of a mess so I would have to go back to mai son has

12th Jun 2018 (8 years ago)Very poor service and customer experience. The photos taken were extremely bad, I even had to send my own in which weren’t good at all, but were far better than the ones they had taken. The write up on my property was that bad I had to re-write it myself. I had an offer on the property which I accepted, but the house never turned to “under offer” or “sold stc”, even after a month. On querying this, I was informed their process is that they don’t mark it as under offer or sold stc until after surveys etc. are completed, although they weren’t letting anyone view the property that rang up so there was no purpose of showing it still available. I now know this is a load of rubbish and it is the process to mark as sold stc or under offer, really it was because the buyers had pulled out on 3 other properties, information which the estate agents failed to tell me about. Lo and behold after 3 months, they pulled out on buying my property as well. During those 3 months Whittaker & Biggs pressurised me almost on a daily basis to get everything completed with my solicitor, telling me the buyers weren’t willing to progress with survey or anything until I had completed all legalities through my solicitor and there was constant pressure for me to complete it all. Being a first time seller, I did as told. This resulted in me incurring all my legal fees as everything had been done ready to exchange contracts, which I have now had to pay for and lost that money as the house didn’t sell again within 2 months of it falling through. I am now £600 down. If they had been honest with me about the buyers and the fact mine was the 4th property they had put an offer on, I would have been more careful on accepting their offer and doing anything with my solicitor. While the sale was still going through, the buyers had a survey completed, which bought up 1 minor thing which wasn’t even an issue and I was made to believe my house was falling down, the report was terrible, I’m going to have to get other surveys / work completed, I’m going to have to drop the price, etc. etc. All the pressure on me. When I received a copy of the report I couldn’t believe it and the huge mountain out of a mole hill that had been made. Everything was in the buyers favour and none of the service at all was in my best interests. The impact of having to fork out £600 for nothing and the wasted 3 months has had on me, my family and life is huge and still impacts us to this day. This is peoples lives their messing with and I’m so upset to have received the service I did.

Ewan’s professionalism and patience made the whole sale happen quickly and seamlessly. Both during the sale and the mission to find me alternative accommodation, Ewan demonstrated great perception and reassurance. He was, of course, part of a great team!

25th Aug 2026 (23 days ago)We recently sold our house in Alderley Edge through Gascogne Holman and were hugely impressed with the team. Richard, the branch manager, was exceptional — he clearly loved the house and had the confidence to value it higher than the other agents, and he was proved absolutely right. He was proactive, thorough and incredibly responsive, leaving no stone unturned in finding a buyer at a difficult time. Lesley-Ann was equally professional and proactive, keeping everything moving when the process was in danger of stalling. Both went above and beyond and treated us as though we were their only clients. Lucy who works in lettings has also been nothing but quick and responsive have we needed anything so a personal Thank you to her! Highly recommend!

They guided me through a particularly difficult sale with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their communication was exceptional throughout.<br><br>In a world where many agencies feel impersonal, this team stands out for all the right reasons. They made a stressful process feel manageable and supported me every step of the way. A truly outstanding service from people who clearly love what they do.

Samuel makepeace were amazing at arranging a viewing and dealing with my offer and acceptance in record time. Fast forward just over three months we have move in date set in the next two weeks time. Ella thank you for all your hard work, outstanding communication and of course being lovely friendly and professional with every communication we had. I want to say how great I found Rooftops Lettings. The communication was fantastic, emails, phone calls pre-viewing and follow up when they said they would. The lady I dealt with, Louise, was amazing. So friendly, honest and genuine. The process was very straightforward, Louise was so professional and made me feel really special when she contacted me to say we'd been successful, she was genuinely happy for us. I can't recommend them enough, not all agents treat you like a human being, Rooftops really really do. Thanks Louise.

I made an appointment with Cheshire Property, Alex arrived at the time arranged and has kept in regular touch since.
