13th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)We purchased our property through Savills Wilmslow and the process from start to finish was first class and very professional.<br>Sarah carried out the surveys of the property and assisted with the negotiation then Lucy saw the process through from there maintaining dialogue with us, the estate agents and the solicitors.<br>They were always able to assist promptly with any questions and requests we had making sure the whole process went as smoothly as possible.<br>Overall I would highly recommend Savills when thinking of buying or selling your property.
1st Sep 2026 (16 days ago)After my buyer dropped out at the last minute, I decided from using the 'Get Agent' Service to move to Stephenson Browne as they were the quickest selling agent in the area.<br>The staff were extremely helpful, went above and beyond, sorting marketing prior to my switch to them as they were very understanding I needed to sell as fast as possible not to lose my chain.<br>The guidance and professionalism by the Team was outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell!
21st May 2026 (17 weeks ago)I had three valuations on my property and Gail from Stephenson Browne was by far the most professional valuer that I met. Gail also completely understood and was respectful of my property. In addition Gail also got the valuation spot on. I used Get Agent to narrow down my options regarding selecting an agent and I am so glad I did.

27th Aug 2026 (21 days ago)I’ve had a really positive experience dealing with Dev throughout my house purchase. From the initial viewings, which were always relaxed and gave me plenty of time to properly take in the house, through to agreeing the sale, he’s been great to deal with.<br><br>Dev helped with the negotiations and ultimately helped me agree a price I was really happy with. Although it’s been a relatively straightforward purchase with no chain, he’s still kept on top of things throughout, regularly chasing where needed and helping to keep the process moving.<br><br>He’s always been friendly, pleasant and easy to deal with, both in person and over the phone. Buying a house can be a stressful process, but Dev has made this experience very straightforward. I’d happily recommend Dev and the team at Gascoigne Halman Knutsford for house purchases and sales.
25th Aug 2026 (23 days ago)Unfortunately I did not have a positive experience with the Macclesfield branch.<br>I approached them in May 2026 to market my property, a terrace in the town centre. They were initially responsive to me and organised a valuation very quickly.<br>The photos were arranged reasonably quickly, but I had to chase them after their initial deadline passed to get the brochure and listing ready. It was then posted on Rightmove, Zoopla, and OnTheMarket.<br>In the meantime, I had agreed to an initial meeting with their mortgage advisor but somehow they mixed up my details and were phoning someone else with the same name - and they shared some of my details with the wrong person. There was no apology for this.<br>Using their app, I could see that my home had many views on Rightmove however this did not translate into viewings. After a couple of weeks I was contacted about a viewing and agreed to it despite it being on a day I had initially said I couldn't do, as the agent on the phone was quite pushy about it being this particular day. When the agent arrived it was someone who had never been to the property before and she was unprepared.<br>After no feedback or offer from the viewing, and no further viewings, I sent an email to the office to ask their advice as to how to generate some interest in the property. Someone called me back and left a voicemail, which I returned and was told they were unavailable but would call me back. They did not. I followed up via email, twice, to no response. In the intervening period I went into their office and found my property was not being advertised physically in the shop.<br>I therefore gave notice to the agent, which they are supposed to acknowledge. After a follow up email 2 days later, I phoned them 4 days after the initial notice was given to be told they couldnt find the notice letter in their inbox. Somehow it was then found but acknowledged with the wrong dates on it, so I had to phone again to get it adjusted.<br>The date the house was supposed to be withdrawn from market came and went. The house wasnt taken off the market, so I had to chase this up with them, too, until it was actioned. They have also not arranged to provide me my spare key back.<br>Overall, this was not a good experience. I understand the housing market is not fast moving at present however the communication and organisation of this estate agent was severely lacking in my experience.

He liaised with our purchasers when our initial onward move fell through and saw our house sale through from viewing to completion, including conversations about leaving appliances. We had a great experience. Their very professional service from start to finish was started initially with our meeting with James who gave us the confidence to allow GH to sell our property, then to Tom who got things going and then lastly a special thanks to Nicola who was very approachable, keeping us well informed throughout the process; if she didn't have the answer to hand when contacted it wasn't long until she got it. Great Service.

As a landlord, it’s really important to have an agent who is reliable, responsive and keeps you informed, and I’ve found that to be the case throughout.<br><br>Debbie and Jason have both been particularly helpful and professional. They are friendly, approachable and always happy to answer any questions or deal with any issues that arise. I feel confident knowing that my property is being looked after and that I can rely on them when I need help or advice.<br><br>The whole team has made the letting process straightforward and stress-free, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Jordan Fishwick to other landlords.
29th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)Very disappointing experience – would not use again<br><br>I moved out on 7th August and only received my deposit back today, after having to chase and chase for it. This was particularly frustrating given that I had left the property immaculate.<br><br>I was initially told that £150 would be deducted from my deposit for a couple of Blu Tack marks on the wall. When I questioned this, Northwood told me that the landlord had obtained quotes from decorators. However, when I asked to see these quotes, the explanation suddenly changed to the landlord doing the painting themselves.<br><br>So, effectively, I was being asked to pay £150 for the landlord to paint over a few Blu Tack marks themselves. I also requested before-and-after photographs to support the deduction, but these were never provided.<br><br>After negotiating, the deduction was eventually reduced to £75. At that point, I decided to accept it simply because I wanted to get the remainder of my deposit back and bring the whole experience to an end.<br><br>I have rented numerous properties over the years in the Cheshire area and, based on my experience, I would personally say that Stephenson Browne is head and shoulders above Northwood.<br><br>Unfortunately, I would not consider using Northwood again in the future, whether to rent, buy or sell a property. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise prospective tenants, landlords and sellers to think carefully before using this company.

2nd Sep 2026 (15 days ago)Absolutely avoid<br><br>The most unprofessional and unhelpful letting agency I think I have ever encountered.<br><br>Our experience with Butters John Bee has been appalling from start to finish. Calls and emails have repeatedly been ignored, sometimes for months, and we have then been told that they have “no information” about issues that we had already reported and chased multiple times. The complete lack of communication and accountability is frankly unacceptable.<br><br>Maintenance issues were left unresolved for months, despite being reported. There was very little urgency or concern shown, and we were left feeling as though tenants simply aren’t a priority once the rent is being paid.<br><br>Unfortunately, the problems continued when we tried to leave the property. We were not provided with the correct information regarding the notice requirements, and despite repeatedly trying to contact them and clarify the situation, we were ignored for months. We were then left dealing with the consequences of information and communication failures that were completely outside of our control.<br><br>What has been particularly disappointing is the complete lack of care or helpfulness throughout the process. From our experience, it genuinely feels as though their primary concern is collecting the rent, rather than the welfare, circumstances or concerns of the people actually living in the properties they manage.<br><br>A letting agency should communicate with its tenants, deal with maintenance issues promptly, provide accurate information and actually be willing to help when problems arise. Unfortunately, we experienced none of this consistently.<br><br>We have spent far too much time chasing emails, making calls and trying to get basic answers to issues that should never have become this difficult in the first place.<br><br>If you are considering renting through Butters John Bee, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Based on our experience, avoid them at all costs.

The whole team at Reeds Rains Congleton were professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They kept us informed every step of the way, answered all our questions promptly, and made what can be a stressful experience feel much more manageable.<br><br>Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their communication was excellent from our initial viewing right through to completion. We would highly recommend Reeds Rains Congleton to anyone looking to buy a property. Thank you for all your help and support!
