22nd Apr 2024 (25 days ago)We purchased a property through Hunter French. They were very friendly, professional and responded to queries quickly. If it hadn’t have been for the slow progress of our solicitors, it would have been the most pain-free house purchase we have ever had - I recommend them thoroughly!
28th Nov 2023 (24 weeks ago)Although seeming to be very positive to start with, we had no viewers at all in 6 months, and no communication from them. We have since cancelled them.
23rd Nov 2023 (25 weeks ago)Just don't go there. Individually very pleasant people, as a firm, hopeless. I engaged them with specific agreed conditions which they all seemed happy with but were totally ignored. They had a tenant in the wings but did not send me any signed hard copy tenancy agreement until the tenant had taken up occupation three weeks previously. They are expensive for poor performance and ignore instructions taking it upon themselves to follow their own devices. Keys taken away preventing cleaners access. More keys cut contra to instruction and overall totally ignored my instructions, contract conditions and expensive to boot.

16th Feb 2021 (3 years ago)Estate agent didn't bother to provide address or phone number that you could contact them on so after wasting £40 on fuel and 4 hours, estate agent didn't even bother to turn up. Claimed they were in the office below the house but didn't leave any indication anyone was present. Stood 15 minutes out in the cold and not once if they were there did they bother to check outside (especially if we didn't have a house number). Add on top the lying about street parking in the area making the travel useless even if they bothered to turn up. No real apologies just "we were there". There or not absolutely no effort to check we were there or help to find the property. Landlords avoid as no one will show future tenants around.

27th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)The worst lettings/estate agency I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. All staff dealt with have been incredibly unpleasant, contentious, arrogant, unprofessional, unknowledgeable and unhelpful. This includes the practice manager who failed to respond appropriately or professionally to a complaint. Kept us updated on the process with a way of communicating that was always to the point, with no frills. The process was very smooth and quick.

Was very honest and transparent. They did the very best they could with the current climate. Myself and my siblings are very grateful of a positive outcome. Thanks to Ian and Ollie and the team. Would definitely go with them again in the future.
