Fantastic service from a competent, professional team who were always friendly and courteous throughout the whole time we had dealings with them.
The circumstances in our chain were complicated and as a result, the whole process took far longer than the average sale/purchase. Without the hard work put in by the team at Paul Graham, the chain would certainly have collapsed and we would never have made it to exchange.
Thanks again Steven. I'm so pleased we went with our gut instinct and chose to sell through Paul Graham. At the time, I didn't know how important it is to choose the right estate agent but I certainly know that now.
Paul Graham acted efficiently and professionally plus kept me well informed as to the progress, as well as passing valuable comments from prospective purchasers. The property I had employed them to sell was difficult due to falling within the "warden assisted retirement range" but their efforts proved effective eventually. Paul Graham staff appeared to be only too pleased to accept any of my suggestions, together with me accepting their professional advice during the selling period.
I would recommend the services of this organisation if required to do so. David Morton
We bought the house through Paul Graham but were not at all happy with the service we received as a buyer.
They were never interested in helping us, took many calls to just get a viewing then 5 phone calls when making an offer as no one ever got back to us! I then had to do the chasing to get the purchase through.
We said we would never go back to them when selling as multi branch companies like this just don't seem interested & you just feel like a number. Shame but with there being so many agents in the area, you've got choice & this company was not on our list.
I've been reading through some of the reviews on here and frankly many are ill informed or not truly familiar to how a purchase/sale process should be. Buying and selling properties can be an emotional process and the way people vent their frustration at this particular agent comes through quite irrationally through the reviews.
I've used Burn and Warne a couple of times in my life (as well as trying out other estate agents in the process) and I cannot recommend them enough. At the core, they are results driven for both sides, pure and simple.
I've met my fair share of sellers/buyers who try not to play by fair and reasonable rules and expect the estate agents to a) give them 'financial advice' (which an estate agent cannot do) and b) work miracles on price (which they will disappoint if your head is in the wrong place) and then expect the estate agent to speak respectfully and lovingly to them.
Burn and Warne don't waste everyone's time and articulate things in a fair, clear and efficient in their sales process. (Not everyone's cup of tea unfortunately) If you're looking for an agent who will tell it how it is, get on with the job and push their best for a result that reflects accurately where the market is, choose them.
I'm not affiliated with B&W in whatever way, I just want to clarify the reviews in case perfectly rational people get put off by this.
If you want a lovely happy go lucky estate agent who will keep your property on the market for 2+ years and not deliver, then choose someone else. If you want people who will deliver a fair service, choose B&W.
Very unprofessional. Called to buy house but they hung up regardless. Tried to book online but no response
Fantastic estate agents. I cannot recommend Rebecca and the team highly enough. We were registered with a large number of agents (5 of which are on the same high street). Some agents didn't bother with communicating at all, while others were somewhat dubious in descriptions and ignore glaring faults in their properties. The team at Rosindale Pavitt were open, communicative and friendly the whole way through the process. They deserve all the awards and praise they get.
We completed a re-mortgage with Chris at Rosindale Pavitt. From the 1st appointment we saw what money we would be saving. We signed up and then were handed over to Tyler.
Tyler keeps you updated even if there was nothing to report. We never had to chase Tyler or Chris for anything.
What was especially nice was that you’re not passed to a call centre to get updates. It’s all kept locally. Chris wasn’t phased if we had questions and was happy to answer unlike previous larger companies who seem to sign you up and shrug you off.
Rosindale Pavitt are a people company and we felt they were honest and genuine without a hard sell.
Looking forward to doing the whole process again in a couple of years.
Totally recommend their mortgage services.
Have used cromwells for both buying and selling, and i was very happy with there levels of service, and have recommended to all my friends that they are "the go to " estate agents in wallington.
ADDING ON TO HARRIETS REVIEW.
To begin with, the flat had damp which Cromwells had promised us a free survey. After 2 weeks of emails and calls they finally contacted the damp company. (A delay due to Cromwells)
The reason for the seller taking the flat off the market was because of a lack of communication and taking too long. The seller repeatedly called cromwells, who failed to notify us. We were waiting for the mortgage lender, which is out of our hands. If we had been contacted we would have been able to give information with the ongoing situations.
After Harriet leaving a review, which we felt was adequate due to our experience, we have tried to arrange to view another flat. We are desperate to sort out a property with a baby on the way (we dont have a lot of options), so we were going to try and look past the bad customer service and try again. Unfortunately, we were met with a very unprofessional respose. It does not look like Cromwells are willing to deal with us.
Yes we may have gone against our word, gone back to Cromwells on our knees but thats because we are desperate to get a property before the baby is born.
We will now have to wait until another property pops up which is not being sold by Cromwells.
