I really appreciated their helpful and approachable service and would happily recommend Brontë Estates to anyone looking for a reliable estate agent.

I went to view a house last week. I had no contact from the estate agent to ask me for feedback, so I resorted to submitting an offer by email. I got a receipt saying they had accepted my offer, and that was it nothing more.
I didn't hear anything for over a week, so I sent a courtesy email to them asking for an update, to which I received an out-of-office notice from the 'senior negotiator' with no sign that my message had been passed on. So I sent my follow-up email to the office instead.
6 hours later a got a phone call saying they had taken another offer from someone else.
At no point was I informed of any offers, or the seller's situation and how they will be dealing with offers, which in this process is valuable information.
In reality, I could improve my offer, had a solicitor ready to act, and a mortgage in place and a deposit, which make me a low-risk buyer.
I find this lack of communication poor when dealing with people's emotions and money. I understand I lost out to a cash buyer, which is understandable as that is a good position to be in. My frustrations aren't with the seller but the estate agent as this does not account for their poor/lack of communication through the process

A very special thank you to Sam, who went above and beyond for us. She is absolutely brilliant at her job, and the care, effort and dedication she put into helping us made such a difference. Buying a home can be incredibly stressful, but having Sam supporting us made everything feel so much easier.
I can 100% see why Charnock Bates get a lot of the higher priced & luxurious houses, as they know exactly how to sell them and see it through from start to finish. They’re another level to other estate agents u have dealt with. There is no comparison.

From our very first call to completion, Shehzad has always been most helpful and gone out of his way to accommodate any requests. In particular his prompt replies and speed really helped get this deal to completion. If you are wanting to buy/sell a property. I would definitely recommend Shehzad and his team.

I called to arrange a viewing for a property I was genuinely interested in and was told that veiwing is not yet started but I’d be added to the waiting list. I provided all the requested information, including details about my income and family circumstances, but heard nothing for two weeks. When I followed up, they claimed to have no record of my enquiry and said the list was already full. There was no attempt to resolve the issue or acknowledge the mistake. Poor communication and poor customer service.

Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!
